beard I wish I could grow up maybe
eventually but uh you uh sell beard
products do you want to maybe share a
little bit about your brand and what you
guys are about yeah beer brand is a
men's grooming company that started
primarily focusing on beard care so we
saw a lot of beard oils most that's why
actually stuff like that and it's really
about the lifestyle is about the urban
beardsman so men who don't fit the
traditional stereotype of a beard man
you know a guy who's a professional
involved in the community typically just
like an ordinary guy like like your men
right and really just focused on like
giving them the tools they need to feel
confident around their beards awesome
yeah and the beer brand I mean you guys
are you guys have exploded over the last
few years you guys were featured on
Shark Tank you guys have a pretty unique
story if you wanted me to share a little
bit about you know real quick your story
as an entrepreneur and how you came
about creating beard Brandt yeah beard
brand is a passion project for mine you
know I I love having facial hair and
during the journey of growing my beard
out I learned about a lot about it and I
shared a lot of personal kind of
emotional standpoint of growing the
beard out in the struggles of dealing
with your wife or your mom and right
everyone once knew that the ones that
have a say in your beard yeah really you
just want to define what you want to do
with it right right so we started off as
a Content website and then really
started building a following and
provided some products from them after
that but it's always been about the
lifestyle more so than the products
that's awesome so you I remember you
mentioned you grew up on stage speaking
yesterday right actually at the amazing
summit right now and he was one of the
speakers and you shared a little bit
that yeah you guys got to be here it's
awesome
you shared a little bit about how you
built your tribe first and you primarily
use YouTube yeah you want to share a
little bit about that process of YouTube
and how you guys have used that to
market
your bridge yeah YouTube's great I mean
because it's a great platform to really
get to know your audience and and it's a
social media platform so there's a lot
of comments and interacting and then you
can provide a lot more information on
how to use the products just is a great
educational platform so we use it as a
tool for educational and we're really
not like salesy at all you know like I
let a lot of our viewers know they can
buy our product so they can buy like
hundreds of other products so right you
know I think that kind of helps build
trust as well but I don't know if then
again they're not pushing your own
products because you know so did you
guys start putting out your grooming
tips and advice or sort of thing or what
you guys do yeah and so one of my first
videos that was really popular was how
to grow and maintain a beard so it's
like what kind of vitamins to take you
know how to comb your beard how to trim
it up what kind of diet to eat allowed
to grow faster and then just kind of
like the expectations with what comes
from so you guys started with YouTube
you guys have several different products
which is great we're the money sharing
real quick you know where you guys now
like what have you guys taking her
business to at this level
and then what do you guys plan on going
over the next few years so we are big
goals for the future are to expand our
product lines so we have a lot of people
who love our brand and level we're about
but you know due to genetics they can
rather facial hair out so we're looking
to go from the beard - hair - body so
we're gonna have a little more
experience with the product line and
then our team's grown a lot we're up to
about 10 or 12 team members so we're
looking to rapidly expand and just
really reinvest into the company and
and make it very accessible for our
customers to be able to get a hold of
our products it's awesome again and one
I guess last question is I'm sure a lot
of people watching this might be curious
about your experience with Shark Tank
yeah some of you guys might have already
seen that seen them on Shark Tank I want
to share a little bit about that process
of getting on Shark Tank and then also
just your experience overall with that
yeah I mean Shark Tank was great it was
a wonderful experience the the Sharks
are fantastic people and and it was a
great opportunity for beer brand to tell
our story and hopefully partner up with
one of the Sharks but for those spoilers
out there but we didn't land a deal
