This is not a caring company for families with young children
I'm absolutely disgusted with the service by the delivery company AOL used today 6th July 2019, in Highgate, North London. We are a family of 4 with no fridge (it's 24 degrees today), no washing machine and had placed an order close to £3000 with the company. We explained we lived in an old mansion block and we're on the first floor. To deliver to us will require a 3 minute walk to our front door as all other big deliveries have done in the past.
The delivery MEN turned up and said there's no way they could delivery our items. They didn't obviously tell us this to our faces but made AOL call us and inform us. Despite the delivery men being so easily able to communicate with us up until that very moment.
This is a company that hires delivery companies and no doubt other companies with simply no work ethic and no consciousness around leaving families without.
If you like us - are wanting to invest in companies who care for families with young children, who have a clear work ethic and deliver on time. Then please like us take your money elsewhere.

Aol mail is terrible, it gives you the option to stay logged on, but still logs you out. I've logged on at least 3 times already today, despite ticking the "stay logged on" box each time.So happy with service aol provided

I used this company during very difficult road conditions in Cardiff and they performed to a very high standard. Their drivers were cheerful and helpful. The taxi arrived on time and I received a text to let me know the model, the colour and the registration of the car. They're still bad and will never change. I had AOL as my internet service provider back in 1996-1997. Had endless problems trying to get online, customer service was bad. I canceled with them and got much better service. Fast forward more than 20 years, I'm forced onto AOL's mail servers when my internet provider Verizon stops offering email. Ever since then, I've had nothing but problems sending and receiving email. Sometimes I'll go barely 3 weeks without having problems. If sites like downrightnow.com and AOL's own Facebook page are anything to go by, many people worldwide are having the same problem. AOL's customer service is still nonexistent. They post lame status updates saying they know this is frustrating and they appreciate our patience. Why is it so hard for them to keep their mail servers stable? We ordered a replacement Bosch dishwasher from this company. It was an urgent replacement and they said they could deliver it on the only day we had available. From the moment our order was placed, to the point of delivery to the house, they kept us informed of the progress every step of the way. It was a very impressive service and the delivery team were really helpful and polite. There was no mess and no fuss, just a perfect order through to delivery. Thank you. Wipes account several times. I didn't use my account for a week and it told me I was gone for too long so they wiped everything clean I had important stuff in there. Photos of family members and such. Family members that aren't around anymore.
They have such poor customer service. They never respond to anything. Some of the worst customer service I ever experience.

AOL have been very good with me and I've dealt with them 3 times now. I've just read a couple of negative reviews on this site and I know that all reviews are subjective.
My latest delivery was a cooker and I missed the delivery after a call we rearrange delivery
Next day I'm informed that the cooker I've bought can't be delivered for another 3 days because of damage but I can have a more expensive one the next day for no extra cost.
2 polite lads turn up the following day and do the job.

I do not feel this is the way a customer should be treated or spoken to when they decline additional extra's for an appliance they have ordered and paid for . It is like people are judged and criticized when they do not take a product that AO provides , is this the way that AO conducts business ?It is appalling and rude !!!
