Company Rating

We found poor mail.yahoo.com reviews on Trustpilot and as a consequence lowered our trust rating of the website. Consumer reviews are an important aspect in determining if a website is safe to use. We are always careful if all reviews are positive as this may be an indicator for fake reviews. In this case however we found mainly negative reviews.

Webshop Analysis

mail.yahoo.com is using a computer that hosts other websites. This is quite normal. Most smaller websites share a computer server with several up to hundreds of other website In this way the can share the costs of the server and the access to the internet. For bigger and professional websites however this is quite uncommon.

This website is deemed to be popular by Alexa with a ranking of 8. Having a high ranking in Alexa is a good sign. Not only does the website have a lot of visitors. Also several other websites link to this site, meaning that it is considered relevant by others.

This website's setup involves 3 countries. Especially larger and corporate websites often use internet infrastructure spread out across multiple countries. The web servers may be located in multiple countries to make the website faster. Likewise the firewall and DNS and registry may be based in different countries. For smaller websites this is less common as they usually buy all the services from one organisation.

Technical Analysis

This website is a website within a website. This means that the website is including or iframing functionality located on another webserver. What you see may actually be located on a completely different website. We therefor recommend you to be cautious before you enter any personal data.

No valid SSL certificate could be found. This is usually a bad sign. An SSL certificate secures the communication between your computer and the website. If there is no SSL certificate communicate is not safe. Only if you never have to enter data (like logging in or filling in a form) an SSL certificate is not really essential.

This website setup involves countries known to be high risk. This means that some of the Internet infrastructure used by the websites (the web server, DNS, email server, firewall) is located in a country which has a high risk profile. High risk countries are countries identified by the International Banking Federation as having a high level of fraud and corruption. Many developing countries are considered high risk.

    • Fabulous Sri Lanka Tour!

I had a fabulous visit to Sri Lanka as a solo American female traveler in July 2019. My professional driver and guide from One Lanka Tours (a local Sri Lankan tour company), ensured my safety while showing me the absolute best culture, history, food, and natural beauty of his country. My guide was well experienced in the tourism industry as he shared the heritage and sights of his country in wonderful British English. His knowledgeable about the heightened security in Sri Lanka ensured my safety during a amazing holiday as a tourist and solo woman traveler. My diverse and fast paced week included UNESCO site visits, river cruises, a beach resort, elephant and leopard safaris, train to the tea plantation, mountain hiking, shopping, and appreciating the intricate history and coexistence of the country’s four religions. I especially appreciated my guide's flexibility in scheduling the daily agenda according to my interests. Whether you arrive by airplane or cruise ship, I highly recommend One Lanka Tours for an affordable visit to the vibrant, colorful, and fascinating country of Sri Lanka!

I love living life at San Melia…

I love living life at San Melia Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The rent is affordable.
I've only been here since April 28, 2019. It's been amazing. Now, I'll tell you why- and no .....I don't work here and I'm not a walking advertisement...just a retired first grade teacher enjoying my golden years!
So, moving forward, my son and I rented this 3 bedroom apartment. It looked more like a home than an apartment because the kitchen was larger with an area we use as our office space, where we put our printer. It had upgrades like have a cell phone charger hook-up built right into the outlet asking with the dark Italian wood cupboards with silver handles & granite countertops. Additionally, we have wood flooring throughout the place. There is also a fireplace and some built in shelves to decorate! The master bedroom was really large and included a large walk-in closet, and a larger, double balcony! The other bedroom has a balcony too and my bedroom is looking at the beautiful landscaping outside! I have a mirrored closest! There are also washers and dryers in these apartments!
Additionally, we really loved the management in the Office Area. Marlene, and all the other front office staff were warm, professional and welcoming. They really care. I experienced this first hand because Marlene gave us an apartment walkthru along with the all the amenities....and there are many!
There is a giant, fresh water, swimming pool along with a real beach with real sand. My 3 year old grandson likes to scoop and pour sand and play on the beach! We all love to swim in the pool and play with him! The pool is well maintained, crystal clean, along with two jacuzzis, a fitness center with lockers, sauna, shower and facilities! It feels like a private club! Along with that, there's a fire pit with relaxing chairs and a vending machine that has ice cold drinks. There is a gorgeous Club house complete with bathroom, full kitchen, family room area, large mounted TV and a billiard!!! There is a covered parking and a park for kids, plenty of gas grills, dog park, tennis & volleyball courts, and even a place to refill large, filtered water to a water machine (if you have one)..and we do!
Not only all that, our management held a large, ice cream birthday cake in their freezer at the front office for us because we had no room in our freezer. Marlene held a large blue and white inner tube for swimming since we accidentally left it at the pool and considered it a loss. However, she's really a sweet person for letting us know that she had it! Also, when I couldn't get the vending machine to take my dollar bill, a manager from the office (I'm sorry...but I don't remember his name) actually walked over with me to help out! I was pleasantly surprised that he got right on it. Hmmmm, maintenance has been wonderful too! We just wish that San Melia offered a two or three year lease!

Email. Account Locked because THEY where HACKED and I have to Pay to sort it.

My selfie and my wife both have email accounts with Sky which now are provided by Yahoo, both our accounts where locked because YAHOO was hacked and our accounts put at risk so both accounts were locked, I unlocked my email account with sky but as my wife’s was a secondary account Sky could not help so I turned to Yahoo , could not sort it so thought I would get assistance from their live chat but you have to subscribe to £4.80 a month to get help with an account which was LOCKED BY THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE !!!! I was not willing to pay to sort out a problem caused by their incompetence so set up a new email with another provider and will NEVER USE YAHOO AGAIN !!!!!!!

      $tty Security

Absolutely shocking. As of last month my business account that I have had for about 7 years was taken over completely by a Russian hacker (@benitemeena) and no matter how hard I try to contact or report to yahoo they either do nothing or say there is no problem with... Before I know someone else had my logins, they already hijacked my transactions and stole over 200,000 USD in illegal wire transfer to an Australia Offshore account I don't know of. I could have lost my life, list my job to this, because it was a company money.. Actually am not fond of doing this .. but I feel the need to let people out there to know about ( Info@xibahomerecovery. com ) He is a computer legit IT Guru recommend by fraud.org (fraudaid website) that helped me to gain privacy of email, he tracked illegal wires and get company money back. Can't take him much.

They are a bunch of scammers

They are a crapy company that want to scam you out of your money. I have had a Yahoo account for years then all of a sudden I can no longer access my email which I have had set to the original password I made it which has to do with my old school so there is no way I could forget it. so I try to reset the password using my primary email address as my recovery option since it was the only option I should be given but nope it proceeds to use a phone number that I haven't used in 6 years so I call tech support and they say oh I'm sorry I cant help you with that but if u pay for premium I can reset it for you, so I hung up on them if this continues to happens. U can bet there will be hell to pay. Yahoo.com blows and is the worst

Hiring canyon custom flooring has been…

Hiring canyon custom flooring has been the worst experience of my life I have never had any contracting company of any kind treat me the way that they have at this company. They have treated me and my house as though we didn’t matter to them at all because we are not a big job that would bring in a lot of money. I should have known because there were a lot of red flags even from the very beginning when Jake came out and measured my house to give me the estimate and he told me how much it would be to do the floors and then Heather emailed me a contract which was approximately $3000 more than what I had been told it would cost to do the floors so I told her that and she told Jake and Jake came back out and re-measured the house and he said that indeed the contract that Heather sent me was approximately $3000 over what it should have been so I almost paid an extra $3000 for the job without even having any reason to do that. Jake remeasured the house and said the problem was that he had accidentally added in the numbers from a job that he had estimated on the same day and that he had put more square footage onto my job and charged me for that so he took back out the extra $3000 that they had said they would charge me in the contract so I decided to continue On then I had had at least three conversations with Jake and with Heather about the fact that I would not be able to move out of my house during the process and I would need to be able to stay there while the floors were being installed and both Heather and Jake told me that that was not a problem because the crew would be able to move the furniture from one room into another room and do the job as we went along so that I wouldn’t have to move out. I told both Jake and Heather that I didn’t have anywhere to move a house full of furniture to or anyone to move it for me and they both told me that that was not a problem and that they would have The crew move the furniture as they went and did the job. Then I got a call from Heather saying that the guys were going to drop off the wood at my house on Monday and she said they may also “do a little demo for you. “ which I thought meant show me how the wood worked. She talked about how the wood needs time to Acclimatize to the house and that then it would be a few more days after that before work could begin on the general project because the wood would need to acclimatize to the house for a couple days. Then on Monday morning I got a call saying that the crew was on their way and that they actually were going to come in and tear out all the flooring in every room in my entire house and that all of the furniture needed to be moved out of the house and that I should’ve cleared out all the furniture so that then the crew could come in to get out all the floors in the whole entire house in one day. No one had ever talked about coming into my house to tear out all of the floors in the whole house in one day let alone the fact that we had already agreed that I would not have to clear out the furniture and that moving the furniture was part of the agreement that we have had as part of the job. I never would have even started to work with Canyon custom flooring if they had told me that they had expected me to move all of the furniture and get it all out of the house because I had already told them that I didn’t have anywhere to put it and I didn’t have anyone to move it for me so they changed the story about the furniture needing to be moved out of the house. Then when the job was about halfway done Jake told me that there were parts needed to finish the back of the house that we’re not possible to obtain and he began to tell me that I would need to tile in the back part of the house or use some linoleum and he said if I tiled the house it would be $4000 just for labor and that we would not be able to use the wood that I had used for the rest of the house because they didn’t have the parts that were needed in order to do it. I told Jake that we had agreed on doing the back part of the house with the same wood that we had done the front part of the house with but he said that that was not possible. Then when I continued to ask about this Jake said that he might be able to get the parts but it would take about a month to be able to get them in. In the meantime I had my bathroom door that was not able to close because they had put a transition piece of wood between my bathroom and my hallway and I had to continue to ask Jake for another three weeks to please come and make it so that I can close the door to my desk which never happened finally Jake said that if I myself tore out all of the carpet and tack and sheeting and pad and then painted the baseboards and floorboards myself in the back of the house that he would finish the job but it would still take another month to get the parts to finish the back of the house. Then Heather told me that I needed to pay for the job to be completed for what had already been done and I knew that if I paid for the part of the house that had already been done that the back part of the house would never get finished and I said I didn’t want to pay for what had already been done because our contract included the back part of the house that had not been finished and that I didn’t think that it would get finished if I paid for the rest of the house. Heather reassured me that if I paid for the part of the house that already been done that the rest of my house would be finished so I paid for the part of my house that had already been completed. It Has now been two months since canyon custom flooring started the project at my house and my floors are still not finished. There are several places on the floor in my living room where the boards have come apart and places where boards have split and I have been begging and pleading with Jake to come back to finish the job or at least to repair and replace the boards that have split and have come up off the floor. No one has come to finish any of this or to fix any of the repairs and I talked to Heather again today and she said that the crew would not be coming back to my house to finish the job And that if I wanted to I should hire somebody else to finish it for me since they now don’t have time in the schedule to do it since the rest of the job has already been paid for. This is the worst contracting experience I’ve ever had at any point in time in my entire life I have never been treated like I didn’t matter and like my house didn’t matter and like my project didn’t matter and my time does not matter the way I have with Canyon custom flooring and I will be talking to the Better Business Bureau and to the license division of Utah and the fraud investigation team with Salt Lake County. I still have a signed contract that includes the back part of my house that has not been finished and will possibly need to go to court to get this resolved. Jake then began sending me messages which I have saved personally degrading me and my home and my person which is also defamation of character and slander
