AND METHODS THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL OF
MAKING MONEY. YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY. ALSO
IF YOU SEE ANY LINKS IN THE DESCRIPTION, IT IS A HIGH CHANCE IT IS AN AFFILIATE
LINK.
so the website that we're checking out
today is not the elements of a fire it's
not the element of ice it's the social
element element so what this website
really does is that they're managing a
lot of big clients that need their
social media managed or mediated or they
need a little bit bigger customer
service or more customer service than
just regular businesses but before we go
into today's method if you like videos
about making money online online
business and entrepreneurship subscribe
to this channel and take the
notification bell to get notified when I
release a new video also if you want to
make your own profitable online business
I show you step-by-step from start to
finish how you can do that in my free
course down the description now let's
get into today's video so the social
element takes care of all their social
media platforms such as Twitter and
Facebook and they have a lot of
different partners like Oreo t-mobile
Tesco Lego Toyota MTV a lot of huge huge
clients we can go up to get in touch and
join our team so what I'm trying to do
here today is go in deep see what
they're all about see if you can make
some money with this and you can
actually join them or are they just a
blatant scam are they not a legit
company we're going to go through all of
that today so here is where they're
right about how you can join their team
so why work with the social element do
you like to work with incredible people
then look no further and apply for a job
with us with the team members from their
early 20s to their mid 70s we celebrate
diversity at the social element we hire
based on merit skills and experience
we're more interested in your values and
skills than your qualifications and
strive to provide a working environment
where you can grow learn contribute work
hard and have fun a little bit of
pac-man right here to have some fun
diversity we are super proud of our
talented diverse team and our people are
everything to us
we have people based all over the world
with team members on every continent
well maybe not Antarctica but we're
working on it so you can see that this
is an international program where you
can join from all across the world
because in Norway here as always
represent my own country flexibility
most of us work flexibly from home this
means that we're able to be dedicated
and passionate about our work without
compromising our well-being with lengthy
commutes and the stresses of the
work-life balance we have access to
talent we'd miss out on if we restricted
ourselves to one location and it affords
us the opportunity to offer
round-the-clock cover to our clients all
right I think I read enough the social
element work-life balance nice little
thing right here career development here
they probably say that you can develop
your career and go higher and higher up
in this business I don't really know so
they have a story of Tania and also
Richard here I just want to see where
they're from because if they're from
outside of the US that's pretty cool
well Richard travels the world
representing the agency and sourcing new
talent so he's actually out there
finding new talent while Tanya here was
a freelance moderator and this is what
you can become as well if you join this
business and she worked her way up to a
project team leader Account Manager and
Senior Account Manager roles if you like
what you heard head over to our job site
ok we're gonna watch that and send us
your application if you don't see a
vacancy which appeals to you don't worry
you can still send a speculative
application from that page we'll keep
your details and get in touch if
anything suitable comes up really nice
if we want to talk to you about your
position we'll arrange a video interview
with you on Skype or Google Hangouts so
what you really have to do here is to go
to the job site so we're gonna check out
the job site right now and here we can
see smart globally flexibility current
jobs all right so here we can see that
they need Mandarin and Cantonese
moderators Korean Japanese and Russian
and this is what they have right now
also an IT manager in the UK but they
also said that they'll have open jobs
where you can send the resume to them
and after they maybe if you know German
after maybe they need some German people
to get on board you will get called in
and you can have a conversation with
them on skype so I think it's worthwhile
to try and find how you can do that most
likely you can just send it into one of
these or you can load more listings they
actually have way more okay okay so this
looks like a pretty decent job for
everyone like for example Western Europe
Northern Europe Norway its Norway in
here come on
yes Danish Norwegian Swedish it's all
love here thank you the social element
for helping the Norwegian people make
some money online so we're going to go
into this right now but first I want to
show you one example of how it really
works let's see here this is a case
study that they had with Gatwick Airport
and they show right here how they helped
their customer with social media
management and how to be active 24/7
because Airways mostly have a lot of
people commenting on their social media
and you can see right here if we go to
let's see here so so the thing that they
do is that they moderate their Twitter
page and also their Facebook so if
anyone comes in and says a lot of stupid
about Gatwick Airport you just
click delete we don't want to have that
on our page if someone is commenting a
nice comment on the gap with Airport it
always helps when they actually respond
to them because that works on a deeper
level where the company is actually on
their social media and replying to them
and this gives so much crust when they
have a big company like Gatwick Airport
for example they also have a lot of
other huge companies that work with like
Oreo t-mobile Tesco Lego Toyota
TV a lot of huge huge clients and we can
see all the way down here like KLM said
the team at the social element are the
perfect partners to help us deliver a
great social media experience to our
customers so it's nice to see that they
have this reputation of being a very
legit company that knows what they're
doing which also usually in this kind of
business where you want to make money
online if the company is legit and they
run things smoothly it's often a good
gig for us as well if we want to make
some money off them and actually have a
job with them either part-time or
full-time but we're going to go back to
the social elements page let's see here
so I believe that you have to live in
these locations in order to apply for
this except this one where you can do
remote working so this is international
so if you know Russian that's probably
the best remote working one and let's
see is this work for you you can speak
native level Russian if you're fluent
written and spoken in English if you are
a social media enthusiast you are
confident with digital technology and
you know the latest trends in social
media like the back of your hand so you
actually have to be fairly interested in
social media you have a sound judgment
and brand awareness as you have to make
sure posts respond in accordance with
our clients policies and guidelines okay
you have strong communication skills and
you know how to read between the lines
you are passionate about customer
service and if you have experience in
banking or the financial industry this
is a really strong plus so if any of you
have that that is a really good plus but
you also have to speak a Russian so
that's also something you have to keep
in mind working hours flexible schedule
they're looking for people who can cover
the following here are the time zones
what you'll do is basically manage and
operate their social media replying to
customers on their social media and you
have to be
nice to them and keep the reputation of
the brand online so you're kind of the
guy that's responsible to increase their
reputation and their brand online so you
have to be a nice guy with a lot of
customer service so you're not like oh
you didn't like our Orioles well
you man so you you cannot be like
that a lot about the values that you
have do it well you want to see him do
the right thing make them smile so if
you can make people smile every single
day this might be a job for you and a
lot of other information that you can
read yourself if you want to do that so
far this looks like a pretty decent job
if you have the things that they're
looking for like Russian and you're
helpful you're making people smile and
you're also a customer service kind of
guy you can apply for the job right here
but right now is buying time to play
some really cool music while I do some
research and look if this is a legit
site it all looks good on the outside
but can we dig it a little deeper
can we find some on these people
that's what I'm gonna find out
[Music]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
after a little digging around I found
some on them a few bad reviews in
total they have a 4.1 at this
glassdoor.com
i think it's a review service where
people write reviews about the company
and i really couldn't find other
websites i found one which was canoe
canoe nunu i don't know how you say that
either way and they have one review on
here
which is a very lengthy great business
idea that fell victim to his old n'
growth and this is December 2017 so it's
pretty recently and he actually has
written up a big thing right here that
we're going to read and also we can read
these bad ones as well so this guy gave
it one star where he said I worked at
the social element full-time more than a
year so the pros are decent pay for the
field work from home cons it doesn't
matter how bad your are at to your job
the surest way to safety and promotion
is to know someone in the middle
management for everyone else every
morning is wondering if you still have a
job no matter how good you are how much
of your life balance you sacrifice to
work the hours they give or how much you
try to participate in upper management
is enamored with typical management
buzzwords cliches and the like but
remain completely obvious to the Toxic
everything is amongst the staff and
middle management people are so
terrified of losing their job or vital
hours for no reason at all it's turned
into a shank or be shanked okay we get
it the job security is probably not the
strongest priority of these guys and
always when you're working online or
working under a company it's always
going to be shank or be shank you're not
gonna have the stability when you go
into working for someone and they have
complete power of what happens to you
but obviously and they should be taking
into consideration of people that
actually do good work but maybe you
tried to do good work but you just
thought that your work was good
it's something that happens a lot of
time when he's evaluating yourself you
often think of yourself as the best in
the world but that's usually not what
happened but also six other people have
found this helpful so this might be
something to take into consideration
this guy right here has a 2-star not the
same place it used to be so that also
ties back with the thing that he said up
in canoe nunu I worked at full time for
more than five years
pros flexible work hours some great
people to work with lack of
communication lack of transparency
advice to management quit trying to fix
things that weren't broken okay lack of
communication we'll keep that in mind
the company is pioneering and
progressive in both terms of the
industry's needs and company policies
cons can be high pressure to produce
effective launches good if you work well
under pressure okay that's a con this is
a very optimistic person right here more
than 10 years actually I've worked at
the social element for just under 10
years I can't imagine working anywhere
else the awesome team is like a second
family to me and as a mom the work from
home flexible schedule was a godsend
I've always been impressed by how people
oriented and supportive upper management
has been the company has unlimited
potential which is both exciting and
provides a sense of a job security
the cons here there have been some ups
and downs which is expected for a
company that has grown rapidly but the
downs were short-lived and far between
so as she's saying right here that she
has been working for this company in the
ten years and the other people are
saying it's an eat or be eaten or
shanked or be shanked world out there
this guy's a working from home diverse
workforce flexibility friendly and
passionate people review so the team's
really seem to matter a lack of employee
benefits advice the management keep
doing what you're doing and he has been
working for them less than a year so
this is actually a good review that I
quite like happy employee more than a
year flexible hours great communication
management ease and pay for work at home
great company culture can work anywhere
in the world
project availability is a con for this
seems to be either feast or famine
famine which I have no idea what is
which means have to look at other
streams of income to support a family
and I completely understand that you're
not looking to get a stable job with
really high salaries when you're looking
for one of these jobs right here this
guy internal communication not very good
but I would say that this is mostly
positive obviously there are people that
really just hates them after working for
them because they usually tell themself
like I did a really good job and then I
get laid off are you kidding me but
that's how it is when you're working
online or working for someone they can
fire you if they want to and that's not
job stability at all but overall it
looks good I really do want to read this
one though because he looks like he has
gone into detail about what he thinks
about this company also it's from
December so it's pretty recent company
culture lack of communication and the
formation of an us-versus-them attitude
so this is probably talking about the
upper management and middle management
support from management depends on which
managers you were assigned to somewhere
amazing and went out of their way to
help their people others were either
uncaring or needed to work on their
interpersonal relations teamwork some
teams were stellar with great
communication and good team interaction
freedom to work independently wonderful
place for self starters and those who do
their best on their own and the internal
communication no communication really no
news is good news is not a good business
model so okay that's something we've
heard before
gender equality very open-minded that's
really good attitude towards older
colleagues since it was is remote
working position age is not so much an
issue career development not much room
to move up and this is where we've said
that if you become friends with the
middle management it's more likely that
you'll climb up to the top overall
compensation for your work
one of the better compensated internet
moderation services so this is really
good that they're actually compensating
for the work that you do a lot of these
jobs that we see online usually pays
very very little for much work work
hours were easy to section off and
scheduling was stellar in being helpful
when things came up company image ones
fantastic the reason notion to read
brand has only accelerated the downward
spiral and they recently changed their
name to the social element before they
were called like a moderation or
something like that job security at the
whim of the client base so that means if
they don't have a lot of clients you're
not gonna get a lot of works and that
may be because a lot of people can be
fired if they lose a big client
challenging work moderation is pretty
straightforward so it's easy to do
inclusive diverse very open there is no
one way applies here diverse in race
religion and lifestyle which is pretty
good suggestion for improvement don't
fix what wasn't broke the company once
had a wonderful vision and vibe listen
to the people doing the work so what
they mean here is that the upper
management really have to listen to
their workers and this is what happens
when the company grows and if you think
about a business pyramid it gets
gradually harder and harder to reach the
top with the ideas from the low level
working people that are actually doing
the work it's hard for them to get their
message across what I dislike about the
company grew so fast that they could not
maintain momentum most recent layoffs
were done in an underhand fashion and
that's what happens if they lose a big
client with a lot of workers they can't
be paying people to do not work they
have to actually have clients in order
to make money and in order to pay use I
hope you understand that as well but
after doing this very thorough review
and reading a lot I'm tired of reading
right now and I'm thinking I'm editing
this video afterwards and it's going to
be a lot of me
cannot talk at all and I messed
up so much in this video so I'm going to
edit out a lot of that but I hope you
enjoyed and if you stayed all the way to
