his makeup
collab with Mac so tell us
a little bit
thank you guys so much for
having me
first of all we have a Mac
collection
that's 12 pieces brought to
you by yours
truly and I used to
actually work at Mac
and you see this question
here is so
surreal I have three
lipsticks three
glasses three pencils two
eyeshadow
quads and a beautiful
setting powder
that's definitely the star
of the show
and since you are the
master of baking
we thought we'd give you a
little bit of
a challenge today Oh
Charlies I'm up for
it that sound alright let's
do it so
today we're challenging you
to a
surprises makeup because yo
grandma's
gonna come on - is grandma
here teaching
us today we got everything
here that you
need for a good bake we got
flour cocoa
cornstarch okay so we have
all of our
baking supplies here and we
challenge
you to do your face with
all of these
ingredients all okay do you
think you
can handle that yes I think
you guys
should do it with me yeah
oh yeah yeah
sure shakes so what are we
going to
start with baking of course
to get a
proper bake going I think
we need a
little concealer oh yes yes
since I'm an
expert I'm gonna help you
out okay I
need it okay okay

that is corn starch flour
that is
straight-up flour
oh we're going for the
flour oh my god
this is legit working it
feels nice
actually
that feels like it's really
setting I

we are ready to bake some
bread what
should we do now so we
should do a
little contour ok I'm sorry
yeah I think
you should use the cocoa

nutmeg oh my god this

so while we're baking let's
talk about
this Big Mac Club you just
came out with
you get a phone call saying
Patrick we
wanted to do a
collaboration with you
how does it feel to go from
working at
Mac to now having this huge
launch with
them it's so crazy I mean I
was baking
my whole lives I think when
I heard the
phone call was and I was
out of town and
my agent was like Mac wants
to do
something huge with you and
I was like
what what could it be and
they were like
we didn't want to do a
pilot and then
they're like no they want
to do
something bigger throughout
the whole
process throughout this
past year of
working it hasn't hit me
until like this
week so did you think of
the products
right away did you know
what you wanted
to do when they told you
about this
collaboration as far as the
products I
this is one of five
collections so I
wanted to do custom color
essentials as
a groundwork for the rest
of the
beautiful collections to
come so these
are beautiful existing
colors with some
custom colors I mean just
package with
beautiful packaging that
I've designed
with Mac and it's with my
signature it's
just so so insane to think
that my
signature that I wrote on
my couch in my
apartment is like literally
on like all
the millions of Mac
products but as far
as like my most favorite
products from
the question is the baking
powder with
this you gotta bake it at
350 for like
30 minutes but with that
you can use it
with a brush you can use it
with a
sponge you can use it with
a spoon
it's a beautiful powder
that works on
everyone and I love it the
beauty world
was so excited about this
powder because
it's really supposed to be
a universal
setting powder and that's
really
important right there's not
a lot of
proudest at the end the
market that are
gonna work for a whole
range of skin
tones so how'd you manage
that and why
was that so important if I
could leave
it to anyone to execute my
wishes with
powder my three wishes full
coverage
translucent on all skin
tones and ultra
fine it was Mac Mac is this
such a
favorite brand of everyone
everyone
knows Mac I've known Matt
before any
other brand and I think
it's it was up
to them to execute it what
I wanted and
there were so many
in creating this powder I would
try it
on myself I would try to
try it on my
friend of different
textures and tones
and we really really really
worked so
hard on the best formula oh
I think
that's a sign that we gotta
wipe this
bake-off oh yeah so here's
a blush for
you here's a question for
you
well we're sitting here
doing our makeup
you spent so much time as a
Mac artist
was there one thing you saw
time and
time again that people were
really
making a mistake with but I
feel like
blending is like one thing
that people
don't really take that
seriously it took
more than like a minute to
blend took me
hours to do my cat this
morning I think
also baking is so
intimidating for some
people that's why you got
girls wanted
to bake with flour at home
you know when
you're gonna meet a guru over
here we'll
teach you the right steps
I've heard you
say in your videos before
that makeup is
one size fits all now me
and Kyle
obviously we're totally
different and
looks skin everything what
did you mean
by saying that I was just
shopping you
know I think up forever 21
and some have
plus a zit some don't and
so I was like
you know I kept buying
anything in here
but you know what I can buy
his makeup
cuz makeup is a one size
fits all we're
all so different whether
you're a boy or
a girl older or younger and
that's what
I love about Mac - it's
it's all ages
all sexes are a phase and
so I think
it's just about being
inclusive
celebrating beauty because
I think
everyone that deserves that
right to
feel confident whether it's
with makeup
or with fitness or with
food or with
fashion I think it's just
all inclusive
to who you want to be in
and my medium
happens to be makeup it
really doesn't
matter cause at the end the
day we're
all people and that's
that's that's my
platform and I want to use
my platform

promote equality
that is actually not that
bad right I
like it we look good I mean
if you want
to pinch each one a budget
if you in a
rush
