very recently we put some
$1.00 makeup
to the test and overall our
experience
wasn't too positive I
realized a lot of
you guys commenting our
opinions were
probably skewed because
we're aware of
the low price point so I
decided to put
together a little test and
I've got to
get there six pairs of
makeup dupes each
pair has a cult favorite
but pricy
product and we've not
showed up with its
drugstore or more
affordable do so I'm
going to deep hot and
conceal all these
products in the packaging
I'm gonna
invite in some of my
friends let's do a
little blind test and give
their honest
opinion without any idea of
the brand or
the price point alright so
we've
depotted all the makeup or
taped up the
tubes so that you can't
tell what's what
and we're really gonna see
if price
makes a difference in
quality

definitely a nice little
glow it's not
like the boom in your face
glow I like
this one better already
it's so runny it's like
milk
I don't hate one more

this is nice
this didn't settle like
into any fine
lines it did get rid of my
shiny
forehead

feels better and
this doesn't feel better
cuz really they
both feel the same
I see no twins out very
nicely Wow
it's definitely buildable
which is nice
it's not like too much
right away
oh just like melts
in terms of color they do
look pretty
identical

I like it I think the color
is super
close I think it looks
really natural

this one is definitely a
little bit more
pigmented so it really
depends on the
look that you're going for I
don't think
that one

it's kind of separating my
eyelashes a
bit extending them not too
clumpy it's
like okay I really don't
even like this
one my lashes look clumpy I
have an
obvious choice and that is
this one
I think the formula and
this one who
lives a little bit more I
guess
malleable and easy to work
with I think
that has pretty good color
payoff which
is important it's not
drawing it all I
just it kind of looks like
a cheaper
formula this one is
definitely applying
much easier I think it's a
bit drying I
can already tell I feel
like they're
very similar so whatever
one that's more
expensive the cheaper ones
a good do for

you did tend to for the
higher end more
expensive product but with
that being
said there are a lot of
lower end
drugstore dupes out there
that will get
the job done so I think
it's hard to say
that there is a definite
correlation
between quality and price
