I know there's gonna be a lot of hate in
the comments I know there's gonna be a
ton of people hating on what I'm about
to say but the truth is don't follow
your passion not until you all right
guys so in today's video we're gonna
an early age that we should all go
pursue our passion and live in a state
of happiness and joy and rainbows and
unicorns and why that's actually a very
toxic mentality because the truth is in
most of the world people don't even have
the option to pursue their passions
because first and foremost they have to
worry about their survival right having
a roof over their head and having food
to eat for themselves and for their
families if you can't afford to pay rent
or take care of yourself or your family
then how the heck are you going to have
time to pursue your passion for example
when I first started with Amazon FBA
which is my first successful
entrepreneurial venture after many of
the things that I tried to do failed I
wanted to help people I wanted to teach
people but first I had to figure out how
to actually pay my bills pay my rent and
afford to eat first I had to focus on
myself I had to become the best version
of myself and I had to become an expert
at Amazon FBA
I never did Amazon FBA because it's my
passion selling random little trinkets
on Amazon I did Amazon FBA so that I
could actually afford to do the things
that I wanted to do and live the life
that I wanted to live so that I would
have the opportunity to actually have
time and energy and money to pursue my
passions and to pursue the things that I
wanted to do but it's a sequential
process those who become seriously
successful don't do what they're
passionate about
at first they do whatever it takes to
actually free themselves and give
themselves enough time and financial
freedom to actually be able to pursue
their true passions in life maybe we
don't know what we're passionate about
maybe if you haven't you know gone to
college or travel the world or live long
enough maybe you don't even know what
you're actually passionate about and so
if you're just waiting your whole life
to only do the thing that you're
passionate about without getting out
there and actually trying new things
and getting you know your feet wet and
getting your hands dirty maybe you'll
never even figure out what you are
passionate about because the sad reality
is is that your passion something that
you're passionate about now is going to
keep you inevitably inside of your
comfort zone maybe you're passionate
about painting right so maybe you just
paint all day long every day if you only
do that one passion maybe you'll never
actually find your true passion by
trying new things maybe it's kite
surfing or skydiving or you know
traveling the world or a ton of other
different things that you might never
try if you're just stuck in your fuzzy
little comfort zone
where you only do the same exact thing
every single day because you know it's
your fool don't quote passion so if
you're young right now and you're
talking about you know I just want to do
my passion for the rest of my life stop
it you need to look yourself in the
mirror right now and check yourself
first you have to make a living you have
to be able to support yourself pay your
bills take care of your family and only
then after you have some success and
after you can actually take care of
yourself financially then you can
actually start talking to me about
passion and even then when you are
finding some success in your life you
should still shift your focus to what
you're good at what skills and what
value do you bring to the marketplace
and how can you leverage those skills to
create something really special because
just the fact alone that you're
passionate about something doesn't mean
that anybody's interested in what you're
passionate about or that anybody is
going to buy what you're passionate
about selling at the end of the day at
the market determines everything right I
have a lot of assumptions and I go out
there and I think that you know some
products or service that I'm super
passionate about is gonna be amazing and
then the market hates it no one buys and
I have two completely separate myself
from that emotion right from that
passion and make a logical decision
to keep growing my business and keep
expanding and learning as a human being
and then once you are collecting enough
money you've built up the systems and
the infrastructure and you have the
automation in place that you're earning
passive income right enough passive
income to save money to support yourself
to support your family if you need to do
that to support your husband or your
wife or your girlfriend or your pets or
whatever it is once you're 100%
financially comfortable and you have
everything figured out in your life you
have the system set up to actually pay
all of the bills that you're gonna have
for now and you have an emergency fund
and you're safe for the future then
maybe it's time that you actually start
to pursue your passion because something
that I've learned is that you want to
follow your skills just because you're
passionate about something now doesn't
mean you'll be passionate about
something five years from now so if
you're really good at something and
you're also passionate about it and it
also is a good way of actually making
you money that is the three things that
make a beautiful synergistic passion
when you're making money you're
passionate about it and you're good at
it that is when you've really found
something special that's when you know
that you should go all-in right it
happened for me with YouTube it happened
for me with teaching and digital
products and creating courses and
building communities and I realized you
know I'm actually pretty good at this I
love doing it I'm passionate about
teaching and you know it's a very
lucrative kind of way to start earning
passive income and so when I realized
those three things I dropped everything
else I was doing and I went all-in the
last thing that you want is to get
caught in the illusion that just because
you're passionate about something means
that you can make a living doing it and
you can make a ton of money and live
happily ever after right that's just
simply not true but when you find that
magical three something that you're good
at something that you're passionate
about and something that's valuable to
the market everything changes and all of
a sudden your passion is something that
you should
be pursuing and something that can
actually build your empire and make an
impact on people and so if you're
