and so if we go up here and we actually

hundred and forty eight dollars and
thirty cents if we go up here and we
actually change this to all of 2019 you
can see that the entire amount that we
made from YouTube in 2019 is what is up
people welcome to the Internet where
everything you hear is true and all of
your dreams can become a reality now
I've been getting a bunch of requests
from you guys to actually break down
exactly how much money I made from
YouTube in 2019 in ad revenue and so
we're gonna do exactly that but it's
important to understand kind of how all
of this mystical YouTube money actually
works and in the most basic possible way
essentially anytime somebody watches one
of my videos and views an ad I make
money now the amount of money I made is
based on something called CPM and
without getting too technical or deep in
all of the YouTube weeds basically how
it works is a prank youtuber might make
a thousand or two thousand dollars per
million views but somebody in the
business or finance niche like myself
might make twenty thousand or even up to
fifty thousand dollars per million views
because the type of content we make is
more valuable to advertisers which means
that even though your favorite youtuber
might make a video that gets ten million
cheated on their girlfriend they're
getting paid significantly less per view
than your favorite business youtuber
which of course is me anyways after a
year of hard work in 2018 from January
1st to December 31st you can see we made
one hundred and fifty thousand eight
hundred and eighty one dollars that was
last year in 2018 which was like my
second year because we've been doing it
essentially now for you know a little
bit less than three years and just so
you know this is actually real I'm gonna
go up into the address bar here I'm
gonna refresh the page
and you can see that this is all gonna
refresh for 2018 right here I don't know
what's going on with this but it says
data temporarily unavailable but anyways
this is all 100% real you can see that
you know it would be very difficult to
make something fake like this we made
over one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars in our second every year on
YouTube which is not bad if we go a
little bit further into this
you can see that we actually had a
couple of top videos so if we go into
our number one video for 2018 here we
actually changed this to 2018 we can see
just this one video alone in 2018 made
us over 20 thousand dollars just from a
single video that literally took me like
an hour and a half to make and this year
in 2019 our channel has absolutely
exploded and grown more than ever before
so I just wanted to give a huge genuine
thank you from the bottom of my heart to
you and yes I'm talking about you
specifically watching from your computer
or your phone on the couch or wherever
you are right now I just wanted to say
thank you to you personally for
supporting us on this amazing journey
that we've been on through a lot of
highs and lows together and to show my
appreciation I want to be as transparent
as possible and showing you guys exactly
every little detail about exactly how
much we made from YouTube and exactly
how you could also do the same thing
because at the end of the day I'm just
glad my videos are actually helpful to
some people and I'm just glad that you
know some people can take what I'm
teaching on YouTube whether it's
ecommerce or digital marketing or just
teaching mindset or general finance
stuff I'm glad that there's people out
there to actually take that information
and go apply it and start making more
money or living a happier or healthier
life but really the key to all of this
guys is tapping that like button because
without tapping the like button that
means that nobody else is gonna see my
videos and that means that you are
preventing poor little Timmy from
getting that car he's always wanted or
buying his mama a house and when I think
back to when I actually first started my
youtube channel I uploaded a video just
with my laptop camera no Mike no lights
my closet door was open and to put it
bluntly looking idiot idiot
calm down hater cam and I remember when
I first started I looked at a youtuber
that actually shared how much he was
making and he made over $10,000 in a
single month and I remember thinking to
myself oh my gosh if I can even make 1/2
or 1/3 of that I could probably leave my
job and be able to work for myself from
home doing the things that I want to do
and just seeing that somebody else was
actually doing this made it possible in
my mind that I could do the same thing
and if you actually put out good quality
content most importantly consistently
then you can do the same thing too and
so my intention for
this video and sharing all of my
detailed analytics is so that I can act
as the guy that I previously saw to you
and you can see how much that I've made
in a single month or a full year from my
youtube channel and then you can have
that same motivation that I got to
realize that it's possible for you to
and as you guys know I'm always 100%
fully honest and transparent and all of
these things that I do and if you
appreciate that transparency then gently
caress that like button you know just
give it a gentle caress is it just me or
is caressing like a really weird word
kind of like moist or supple and so
without further ado let's get into my
moist and supple laptop and caress the
living daylights out of my earnings on
YouTube so you can see if we actually
jump into my channel set it from one one
at twenty nineteen it's a January 31st
2019 and click apply that we actually
made a twenty three thousand four
hundred and fifty three dollars and two
cents just in January and again I'll
refresh this so you guys can actually
see that it is real and it is loading I
don't know why this is saying data
temporarily unavailable the one time I
actually try to make this video but it's
luckily it's still giving us all the
correct statistics so January we made
twenty three thousand four hundred and
fifty three dollars so if we come back
to the calendar and we change it to
February 1st to February 28th of 2019
and click apply you can see that we made
twenty nine thousand five hundred and
forty five dollars and six cents so we
actually made like 6000 or 7000 dollars
more than we did in January and just so
you guys know I'm not photoshopping or
doing anything crazy like we can
actually click through all of these and
you can watch everything change like
it's a hundred percent real even though
I know there's relentlessly going to be
a troll or someone you know down in the
comments talking about how my social
blade says I make way less than this but
social blade is impossible because they
don't actually get any of their data
from YouTube directly and they have to
estimate all of that stuff without
actually knowing what people's CPMs are
which is why the only way you can
actually know how much someone's making
from YouTube is watching a video like
this but something to keep in mind is we
actually had a video start to really pop
off in this month we made a video about
how to make 100 per day on YouTube
without making videos and you can see
that it really started to take off in
this month right and so something that
isn't
oran to actually keep in mind is that if
you have even a single video actually
pop off and get taken by the YouTube
algorithm what happens is if someone
watches a lot of even one of your videos
that tells YouTube to show that same
person more of your videos and so all of
their recommended videos and suggested
videos and their homepage videos start
to be the other content that you've
created and so if you have a single
video that starts to go viral
or get a lot of views all of your other
supplementary videos if they're also
interesting and if they're also similar
style content to what the viral video
was all of those videos start to get a
lot more views as well and so it starts
to snowball another thing to keep in
mind before we show everything else from
the rest of 2019 is my channel actually
makes a lot more per view than most
channels do so you can see you know
prankers or people making slime pools or
doing pranks on their girlfriends can
get tens of millions of views but only
make you know five thousand or ten
thousand dollars a month when you know
we just showed our channel analytics
close to thirty thousand dollars in a
single month with you know significantly
less views that's because I'm making
content that advertisers like right safe
content without swearing content that
businesses actually feel comfortable
showing their ads on and getting a
return on that ad spend and that's why
you see business youtubers like myself
make significantly more per view than
other content creators making content on
things like Minecraft because I have a
lot of friends that also do YouTube and
I've seen people in the prank space get
50 million views in a month but only
make $5,000 because their content is
just not advertiser friendly I've seen
gaming channels out there get 10 million
views and only make 10 or $15,000 in a
single month even though they're getting
10 times more views than I am and making
half as much and another reason that my
channel might make a little bit more
than some other channels is because over
75% of my viewers on my channel actually
come from non subscribers right so that
means that YouTube is pushing my content
to a lot more people than just the
people that subscribe to me because
something that a lot of people forget is
that YouTube is a business and
businesses like to make money and so
when you actually are making YouTube
more money YouTube is much more likely
to show your content to more people so
that they can make
more money which means that when YouTube
shows my content to Mary in California
and she clicks on one of my videos that
means that she's gonna get recommended
10 or 20 more of my videos until she
literally cannot escape me and I start
to haunt her dreams and that is just a
beautiful circle of life here on YouTube
start off making some content YouTube
promotes that content haunt your dreams
simple and probably the most important
reason that we've been able to make as
much as we have on YouTube is that we
are consistent YouTube above everything
rewards creators for actually being
consistent which means that every video
that you post gets a huge spike of views
in the first couple of days or first
week and then starts to level off to
getting almost no views and what this
means is as a content creator you have
to continue churning out new content day
after day after day week after week
after week if you do want to keep your
numbers up and keep your growth and
revenue up and if you're consistent and
you continue to make the highest quality
most engaging content then your content
has the highest potential chance of
actually going viral if you get even one
video that even half way goes viral your
whole YouTube can completely change
overnight and so let's actually jump
back into my computer and go over
exactly how much I made in 2019 so if we
actually go up here and we changed this
from 2018 to 2019 we can see that we
made over four hundred thousand four
hundred and forty six dollars and 63
cents which is one hundred and fifty two
percent increase from the year before
our subscribers we gained over five
hundred thousand which is absolutely
insane it's actually the first time that
I've ever looked at this number right
here it's just actually updated because
it's actually after December 31st now so
these are the final numbers for 2019 you
can see that we had a big spike here in
it looks like October we have some
pretty good numbers in November things
were pretty consistent but growing and
then we kind of stopped making any
content in December we only release like
one or two or three videos or something
like that which is why it was one of our
lower months but you know when we were
producing a lot of content that my
channel really likes to see we saw a
really big spike in overall viewership
this is also like part of the time that
we had a big video launch on another
creators channel which you know helps
bring new people and new interests
drivers to your channel as well really
the craziest part is when I first
started making YouTube videos I didn't
even ever think that I would make any
money at all right I just did it because
I actually enjoyed making videos so it's
a pretty sweet added bonus to be able to
you know make money doing what you love
to do and so for all of you guys who
have made it to this point I just wanted
to say you guys are the best
honestly it really does feel like a
family that we've created especially to
the die hard you know KD fam like you
guys who watch every single video all
the way until the very end I really do
just want to say I really honestly
genuinely appreciate you guys and it
might sound cheesy but those of you who
comment on every single video and I see
you guys's names again and again and
again when I read through these comments
it really does feel like we've created
like a family here and I know that's
cheesy and I know that sounds ridiculous
or cliche or whatever and you know the
haters are probably gonna eat it up but
I really do honestly love you guys and I
appreciate you more than I could ever
possibly express in words so I just
wanted to say thank you and I hope that
my channel at some point some video or
something that I said or some tutorial
or even the hater cam you know made you
smile added some value to you in some
way and I just wanted to say I really do
