so before I started working online I
used to have this job that paid me
could have made way more money than that
I could have made sixty to eighty
thousand a year if I would have put in a
lot of overtime but when I learned this
one thing about money this one fact I
quit that job and I never looked back
and that's what we're gonna talk about
today in this video so stay tuned okay
this one thing that I learned about
money this one fact I didn't learn about
it until I was twenty-five twenty-six
way up to high school and the crazy
thing is they don't teach this in high
school and they should so I'm making
this video today if you're working a
nine-to-five like I used to do I'm
making this video today to encourage you
to consider doing something better this
job that I used to work at we basically
made plywood if you don't know what
plywood is it's a material that's used
to make floors in houses to build
furniture and I worked there for six
long years and I basically just got
tired of that job I wanted more time
freedom I wanted to enjoy my life
because when you're working a
nine-to-five the only way you get paid
is through active income if you don't
know what active income is it's
basically when you're trading your time
for money if you're doing a nine-to-five
that's what you're doing if you're
providing a service that's active income
let's say if you have a window cleaning
business well the only way you get paid
if you clean those windows if you don't
clean those windows you don't get paid
even online freelance jobs that's active
income if you're in web design if you're
a writer like if you write sales copy
for people you get paid that's how you
get paid now some active income job
you make a lot of money you know you can
make a lot of money but you're still
trading your time for money and I wanted
something better I wanted something
where I could make money and not be in
the job all the time you know and that's
when I discovered passive income when I
first heard about passive income I heard
it from a guy named Ray Higdon I don't
know if you ever heard of him but he
this big online successful guy and he
used to have this YouTube channel and I
used to always watch his videos now I
think he's just on Facebook but he used
to have this YouTube channel and he used
to always talk about passive income how
you can make money in your sleep how you
can make money when you're out and
enjoying life and I was very intrigued
by it so I started doing more and more
research and that's when I discovered
affiliate marketing and that's when I
discovered search engine optimization if
you don't know what search engine
optimization is it's basically when you
can rank websites and rank videos at the
top of Google using certain keywords and
phrases
I don't want to go too deep up in detail
about that I may make a video on that in
the future but in a nutshell you can
rank these websites and videos and you
only have to do the work once and make
money from that it's very little
upkeep that you have to do like if you
rank a website you may have to you know
touch it up here and there but all in
all once you get it up there
you're making money so that's when I
decided that I'm gonna start making
videos I'm gonna start doing blogs
because I wanted some of that passive
income guys the first video that I done
I ranked on Google was for a company
called Motor Club of America and that
video has been up for four years now and
it still makes me money over and over
and over right today it's still making
me money so guys look what I'm saying is
if you're working a nine-to-five job
right now and you're sick and tired of
giving that job all your time then I
suggest that you look into this passive
