video we're gonna be talking about how
to properly launch your Amazon product
to page one and how to get those elusive
reviews Terms of Service compliant so
they actually stay on your product and
are not removed if you are a beginner
Amazon seller or if your current Amazon
seller you're not going to want to miss
this one
stay tuned alright guys we have a lot to
get into in this video we're going to be
talking about how to actually launch
your product to page one all that
basically means is getting your product
onto the page one for the search result
you want to rank for force for example
so if you are selling a garlic press
right which is my perennial example most
of the people who want to buy a garlic
press are going to search the term
garlic press into Amazon's search bar
and your product you want it to show up
on the page one search results because
think about it logically if you go and
search something yourself on Amazon and
you see a good-looking product with
nice-looking reviews nice-looking
pictures and a reasonable price you're
going to buy it right most of us 99% of
people never scroll to page two on
Amazon to look for our product so the
difference between being a successful
Amazon FBA seller and the difference
between being a failure Amazon seller is
a lot of times being on page one which
is why launching your products correctly
and doing your keyword research
correctly is absolutely critical to
being successful on Amazon so there are
three very important steps that you need
to know to be able to launch your
product to page one and get reviews that
actually stick which we are going to get
into right now alright guys so the three
steps of launching a product basically
break down to this step one is knowing
for because when you say you're going to
launch a product what that actually
means essentially in the end is that you
want to have your products ranked on the
first page for a specific keyword that's
what a launch actually means so if
you're launching a garlic press you want
to rank on page one for the word garlic
press but it's actually a little bit
more complicated than that because maybe
your product
is a stainless-steel garlic press so you
want to make sure that you are actually
launching for and trying to rank for the
correct keyword that is in the end going
to bring you the most conversions and
the most sales for your Amazon FBA
business step number two is you need to
know how many products that you need to
give away you know during your launch to
be able to outrank the current sellers
on page one because essentially how it
works is this if there's 20 people 20
other sellers on page one and they're
all selling an average of 10 units a day
right you need to actually out sell them
in the form of a giveaway when you're
launching your product you need to
outsell them by at least one unit so for
a 7 or 8 days you need to give away 11
units if everyone on page one is
currently selling 10 this is going to
tell Amazon's algorithm that your
product is outselling every one on page
one and they're going to you know
organically rank your product above
everyone else and the main factors that
Amazon a nine algorithm actually uses to
rank our sales velocity right how many
you're selling per day and sales history
and so you have to outsell the people on
page one to actually outrank them but
you're not automatically going to
outrank everyone because sales history
if they've been selling consistently for
years has a major factor as well so
we're going to talk about exactly how to
do that
in a few minutes and then step number
three is actually figuring out how to
give away the number of units that you
need to to outrank the people currently
on page one because it might sound easy
to give away eleven units per day for
seven days but it's actually more
difficult than you think finding you
know seven days times 11 units or 77
unique buyers to actually buy your
product in order to you know rank your
product above the people who are
currently selling 10 and of course as a
bonus we are going to talk about the
best way to currently get reviews that
are Terms of Service compliant for
Amazon so that those reviews are not
removed by Amazon because if you're a
current Amazon seller you've probably
heard about the review pocalypse
right which wiped out millions of
reviews across hundreds of thousands of
different about a meson sellers we're
going to talk about the one way it is
actually sanctioned by Amazon to get
the right way that are not going to be
removed at a later date by Amazon and
then of course we're going to talk about
the one way that is currently working
right now to launch your product to page
one which again is sometimes the
difference between being a successful
Amazon seller and being an Amazon seller
who does not make it so let's get into
it
alright guys so step number one is we
want to find the highest volume keyword
that we want to actually launch our
product to ranked on page one four right
but it's not only about the highest
volume you want your keyword to not only
be the highest volume you also want it
to be the most related to your product
so let's take an example really quick
and let's type in teapot well right now
we're using donkey words calm this is
the cheapest and best keyword software
available for Amazon a lot of the other
keywords software's that are available
right now are just wildly inaccurate and
have you know inaccurate estimated
search volume for the monthly search
volume they're not really pulling data
directly from Amazon they're just
scraping old data and using like big
Russian and Chinese databases that are
cached and not updated zong keywords is
updated more frequently than any other
service and it's also the cheapest
service if you use the discount
exclusive of course to Kevin David if
you choose any of these you can do
either monthly or annual if you annual
you can use the coupon code black belts
50 like this apply coupon and it
literally takes fifty percent off so
it's 120 for 50 for the entire year
fifty percent off that makes it by far
the cheapest tool and it's also the most
accurate so let's actually take an
example here we just searched teapot
right so we get a handy-dandy little
word cloud here

we get the seasonality indicator right
here so we don't have to go and look at
Google Trends we see that a lot of
teapots are bought doing during q4
obviously you know during the holidays
people are buying each other teapots as
gifts there's also a spike in March
which is interesting we look more into
that if we were really interested but
the point of this guy's is that we don't
necessarily want to rank for teapot
because what I've seen in my in my
experience launching hundreds and
hundreds of different products over the
years
is you don't always necessarily want to
rank for the highest volume keyword and
why that is is because you're going to
be paying and competing against a ton of
different people if someone just types
in teapot right they don't know exactly
what they want they know they want a
teapot they don't know if they want a
glass teapot they don't know if they
want a cast-iron teapot so if we want to
look really quickly at the search here
for teapot we see a ton of different
stuff we see this gray one this blue on
a glass one a glass one with infuser
right a stainless steel one a chubby
stainless steel one lots of different
stuff here and so people that are just
entering teapot they don't necessarily
know what they want and so if you are
selling like a glass teapot or a
cast-iron teapot then you're not going
to want to work a rank for and actually
be on page 1 for the phrase teapot
necessarily maybe you want to go for you
know cast-iron teapot because it's much
more related and you're going to get a
much higher conversion percentage
because at the end of the day you what
you really want to rank to page one four
is the term that has the highest volume
but more importantly that you're going
to get the highest conversion percentage
four and what I mean by that is that
like let's out of a hundred people who
search teapot maybe only one of those
people actually buys your teapot if
you're on page one but if out of a
hundred people who search cast-iron
teapot maybe 50 people buy your product
right so it's much more important to
convert on fifty percent of a lower
volume keyword than one percent of a
higher volume here because you're going
to have to compete on PPC and all of
this stuff you don't want to do kind of
trying to rank for a higher volume but
less related keywords so you always
always always want to rank for the
keyword that has the highest volume
right but also is more importantly the
most related all right guys so step
number two is actually figuring out how
many units per month on average that
people on page one are selling so the
way that I'm going to do that is by
using the market intelligence tool right
here we're going to actually run this
and so now we can see the actual monthly
sales of all of these units here so what
we're going to do is we're going to
export this so this is a little bit
easier in Excel and so once we have this
in Excel what we're going to do is we
are going to look at
the monthly sales here and we are also
going to look at the monthly revenue
right so what we want to do is we want
to remove the highest the highest - and
is the lowest - because this is going to
give us a true or average right so we're
going to get rid of this one we're going
to get rid of these two and we're going
to get rid of this one so now we're
going to get a little bit better idea of
a true average right the best way to do
this is the itraq $9.99 card trick
method which you know what would and
what is involved with that is you add
you know all of these products to your
actual Amazon cart you try to add 999
units and then it'll give you an error
message oh there's only 600 left then
the next day there's only 580 less so
you know that it sold 20 units but you
know a lot of times people have max
order quantities set or a lot of times
people aren't going to want to actually
you know track 20 different products and
manually for 3 to 5 days or however long
it takes to get an actual pattern and so
this is the easier way to do it we're
going to do is we're going to actually
highlight these so we see monthly sales
right here so we see right here there
are 11 different products here so what
we're going to do is we're going to
calculate all the monthly sales so
there's thirteen hundred and seventy-six
right and that's this is the total
monthly sales for the 11 products here
so we're going to do thirteen hundred
and seventy-six divided by eleven right
because there's eleven products right
here obviously this is the this is the
title bar so it doesn't count so there's
eleven so thirteen hundred and
seventy-six divided by eleven is a
hundred and twenty five monthly sales on
average for this particular product so
then we're going to actually divide that
by thirty and we see that they are
selling around four units per day for
cast-iron teapots are sold per day and
so if we want to outrank these guys
right we're going to have to sell at
least five to six per day five to six
cast-iron teapots per day for seven to
eight days and the reason that it's
seven to eight days is because how
Amazon's a nine Algar
worse is they calculate rankings in
batches right so you might if you give
away five units you're not going to
automatically rank ahead right your BS
are your bestseller rank is going to
fluctuate but after the seventh or
eighth day if you run it correctly right
using the one service that actually
works to launch products nowadays what
you're going to see happen is your
product is going to fluctuate and then
after seven days right the Amazon runs
what's called a rank batch and when they
run the ranking batch your all of the
products are going to be updated based
on the sales over that specific time
period which in most cases depending on
the subcategory is a week so after that
seven-day period that you give away five
units per day right so five times seven
days you're going to be able to thirty
unit 35 units in this case what you're
going to see is your product is going to
start to rank higher and higher and
higher after the seven day mark and then
you're going to actually start to
outrank and become on page one if you do
your launch correctly so that is how it
works that is how you calculate how many
units you want to give away this is of
course the lazy way to do it the itraq

accurate way to do it which we do talk
about in depth in the mini course if you

driving external traffic from Facebook
from YouTube from wherever it is is
Amazon's going to make more money
because people were on a different
website now they're on Amazon they're
going to buy stuff on Amazon Amazon is
going to make money so Amazon is
incentivized and rewards you for driving
external traffic and so the service that
I'm about to talk about is the one

concurrently with your launch on Amazon
because you know having those words and
having specific words launching your PPC
campaign where you're getting click
throughs and sales on those words is a
huge ranking factor in Amazon in the a9
algorithm when it comes to actually
ranking organically you know for your
main keyword that you're targeting so
what we're going to do is we're gonna
click rank my product and we are going

important to have at least a few reviews
because all you everything you do in
Amazon you have to think about it
logically if you are going to you know
if you see a sponsored product if you're
you know buying a lot of product during
a launch right you want to have at least
a couple of reviews I would personally
never buy a product that has zero
reviews it's just too big of a risk if
the product arrives and it's a piece of
crap right then I have to take time out
of my day go back to UPS or whatever it
is return it and then it's just a big
waste of my time at least one or two
five-star reviews
takes 99% of that risk out of it for me
because somebody else has already taken
that risk somebody else has already said
okay this product is actually legit it
does match what the listing says right
it makes it a much more comfortable safe
purchase and so getting at least a
couple of reviews is incredibly
important and we are going to talk about
how the best way right now to get
reviews in just a few minutes but you do
want to make sure you have at least a
couple of reviews before you start your
launch anywhere right before you before
you start PPC anywhere it's very
important to have reviews on your Aysen
you don't have to you can say no but
continue anyway
or you can say yes here so which page

similar to yours

organically first right so these are

that Amazon actually condones and
recommends and says is ok right after
the review pocalypse or whatever you

amazon early reviewer program basically
what this is is you pay $60 for one of
your products if it has 0 reviews and
Amazon will give you your first 5
reviews you're basically essentially
paying $12 per review what Amazon does
is they give you know one two three
dollar gift cards to actual real buyers
and customers out there to incentivize
them to actually take time and review a
brand new product so what you're going
to do is all you do is click into the
Amazon early reviewer program get
started in Amazon it's going to get you
from 0 to 5 reviews I definitely
recommend doing it on every single new
product that you launch because Amazon
runs this incentive program for up to a
year so sometimes you can even get more
than 5 reviews for years $60 it's the
best way Amazon tracks all of it right
and they actually allow you to have
these reviews so they're not going to
get erased when Amazon you know goes
crazy and starts erasing millions of
reviews to try to like level the playing
field and this is actually a good thing
a lot of people think all men and so
much harder now I can't get reviews as
easily as I could before but this levels
the playing field for everyone so huge
companies with you know eight figure or
nine figure budgets that are using
review farms in Bangladesh
all of these really you know impossible
to compete with from a budget
perspective methods now it's level now
the the beginning seller and the large
seller are if equally as difficult to
get you know fake reviews and so the
Amazon early reviewer program and and
Amazon making the choice to really make
things more difficult for people to fake
reviews is actually better for the you
know the individual sellers like you and
me so the Amazon early reviewer program
is definitely what I recommend so let's
summarize everything that we just
learned guys as I know that was a lot
