got some goodies I got a Canon 50
millimeter lens for my camera so that

it's a really good low-light lens so
that's good what else do I have so while
I'm on my trip I haven't read any books
in the past month so I really want to
change that I'm you I'm an avid reader
and because I've been so busy I kind of
put off reading so what I'm gonna do is
read at least three books in the next
week while I'm in Maui so what I got is
contagious by Jonah Berger why things
catch on I got traction how any startup
can achieve explosive growth explosive
customer growth so that's a good one
and I picked up Russell Brunson's new
book - want to check that out yeah
should be good so I got three books I
got a new lens so I could take some good
photos good video with the Canon I'm
gonna bring this as well and I got my 4
terabyte external hard drive so that
should be good but what are you guys up
to just kind of prepping I'm kind of
prepping for you know I got the bag oh
no I don't have the bags over there I
had the luggages over there yeah so
should be good it's crazy how far we've
come
10k subs in 6 months that's a great
achievement it's kind of a little
milestone for me so I wanted to do that

I just been it's like 85 degrees here
usually in Orange County it's around 70

amount of time I spend on work while I'm
on vacation because you know it's
vacation we want to enjoy the time that

with some new information so that I have
more content for you guys but yeah Evan
will be working like one to two hours a
day
mostly filming and you know trying to
close businesses or sending out business
audits not really trying to close them
but prepping to close them how do you
manage a company from another state so
it's pretty easy I mean everything's
online with social media marketing so
you don't really need in person contact
with them I would schedule a monthly
Skype call with the client if you do
have a client that's out of state how
much would you charge to add a gallery
and a contact page to an existing
website
um I mean if it's a big gallery you know
a few hundred bucks I usually charge 300
anywhere from 300 to 650 bucks depending
on how much work it is because I can
outsource that for like 50 yo what's up
everyone Eric says how's the new course
going it's going very well there's lots
of time we have over a hundred people in
the course and we plan on adding more
content we just wanted to get that base
principle down I'm gonna be starting
some new campaigns some new Phil
marketing campaigns from the from the
ground up to show people in the course
you know that it's possible from the
ground up
so I'll be doing that within the next
week yeah 50 or 100 K that that's the
goal that's the goal for the year I want
to hit 30 K and then by next year at the
end of next year when I hit hit 100 K so

making a course in your opinion i think
the hardest there's two things that are
pretty hard okay it's it's structuring a
course right structuring it because you
you might have all this information and
all this you know skill set and you know
data and everything that you want to you
want to put out there in the course but
how do you structure it to where people
understand I think that was probably the
hardest part of making a course is
structuring it so that people understand
people that you know don't because
there's a lot of people who don't know
anything about affiliate marketing
coming into the course so how do we make
it easy for those that don't know
anything about it
to understand and then how do we also
you know balance the information in
there to people who already know what
affiliate marketing is and they just
want to increase their skill base on it
so I think is structuring the course was
hard also for this last launch probably
the time management getting it all done
but like when you're first releasing
course it's it's hard the hardest part
is building up your personal brand and
building up your audience and finding
that audience to release that to if you
don't have if you don't have the money
to spend on paid advertising so
nice yes you will see much more I'm
gonna be posting tons of Maui pictures
and the reason why I want you guys to go
over to my Instagram is because I go
live on Instagram I every almost every
day I also post frequent Instagram
stories so you're seeing what I'm doing
on the daily and that's kind of like
giving you a more insight on what I do
day to day I know you see that in my

you have learned since you started being
a full time entrepreneur the most
valuable thing I learned man that's a
hard one I would say
man that is a hard one I don't know
there's there's tons of valuable lessons
I think remembering why you're doing it
because when you have a corporate job
you get it paid a salary or you know a
certain wage and it's very easy to just
kind of go into work and do what you're
you know what you're supposed to do what
your job title and your description is
right you have a certain task that you
do every day but in entrepreneurship
it's so different every day so you have
to make sure you have your time
delegated right every hour you know
exactly what you're doing and then you
and you know what you're doing in the
next week to write because you always
have to be coming up with new ideas
especially if you're a youtuber and
you're putting out content so it's good
to schedule time management right I have
a calendar that I write everything I'm
doing top three things I need to get
done every day for the week and then
just remember remembering why I'm doing
it right I'm doing this because I love
to you know help others I love inspiring
others to be the best versions of
themselves I want to teach you as much
as I can on different subjects that they
don't teach you in school because I read
a lot of books I've you know bought a
lot of programs and I've watched a lot
of content and I've applied that
knowledge I've applied everything I've
learned the books that I've read in the
courses that I bought to make money on
my own and that's that's ultimately what
I want to teach everyone and inspire

just funny said can you tell us why Yelp
ads are ineffective
okay Yelp ads are ineffective because
they only reach so you're paying like a
monthly premium $350 for 500 impressions
which means you know someone just seeing
the ad if they see it twice that counts
as two impressions even though it's the
same person and they're very untargeted
so basically Yelp is throwing
advertisements at people that like let's
say it's for a jeweler right a local
jeweler
they're throwing advertisements at
people that are looking to eat in the
area but aren't even interested in
jewelry so it's untargeted and you don't
get as many impressions per click or per
dollar spent how much money do you spend
on affiliate marketing to make the
amount you make per month so Patrick I
spend in advertising probably around
$500 but also having a personal brand
and a big email list helps I think the
biggest part was building the email list
and paying for the advertisements to
build that email list so I probably
spent you know close to three three four
thousand dollars in advertising just to
get that email list awesome
