what's up guys big mark here welcome
back alright so in this video I want to
talk about being shy and coming onto
YouTube maybe you are an introvert or
something like that and you don't feel
comfortable putting yourself on camera
maybe you don't you're maybe a little
bit insecure alright now I used to be
that way too as a matter of fact today
marks the day that I have made a video
almost every single day for one year
today's March 23rd 2019 I started this
YouTube my very first video that was on
this YouTube was exactly one year ago so
how cool is that
but really what I want to do on this
video is just give you some insights and
some inspiration that will help you or
possibly motivate you to make videos
okay alright number one I want to talk
about making as many videos as you can
even as a shy person and this is super
important because and don't do it for
the views and subscribers and the money
the growth the confidence that you are
going to build because if you've always
been a person you've just been offline
you haven't been showing your face you
haven't been recording yourself with a
microphone you've you've done none of
that you haven't been on video and have
been on social media where people can
see you talking and that can be totally
awkward at first
definitely I know I've done a little bit
of voice work in the past and I've made
some video tutorials and did other
videos for my products and stuff so I
had a little experience with that but
when I came onto YouTube I mean I had to
show my face talking every single day
and yeah it was a little I was nervous
okay but here's the thing this is why I
want you to create as many videos as
possible even if you think you suck
alright even if you cringe even if
you're unhappy with them you just look
at your videos and you're just like oh
I want you to post it anyway because
what's going to happen you are going to
transform you look at almost any
youtuber look at their very first video
it's totally different they look like a
different person
right and then you look at their most
recent video they're more just confident
kind of a little bit more loose they
don't really care about what people are
gonna think they just hit the record
button and they just come out with what
they're gonna say and life is good ever
right but in order for those guys to get
to that point they had to make a lot of
videos so one of the things I want to
talk about on this video is to give
yourself a challenge at least 90 days 30
days whatever that is make a goal and
make a video every single day okay don't
worry about it you might not have
anybody see your videos for like a while
for a week or so alright and another
reason why you should create as many
videos as you can every day if possible
on a consistent basis the reason is is
because you're gonna have more videos
out there on YouTube okay and more
people they're more they're more likely
going to see your stuff okay if you have
a certain topic or you want to attract a
certain audience and your to your
channel well the more videos you produce
and put out there on YouTube on that
particular topic the better your chances
of having that video seen okay and so
that's super important because there are
people making three videos a day I mean
I've seen people do this little and
little companies and stuff making lots
of videos matter of fact you know they
record all day long and then they just
divide it up into three videos and well
they're getting all the views okay but
the most important thing to take away
from this is what happens to you inside
as a person you are going to transform
and then what you do is you take this
kind of like this new you right and you
can use that and apply that to almost
anything and something's going to happen
because of YouTube just let me share my
experience when when I'm offline I'm
different I've changed when I'm talking
on the phone I just speak differently
when I'm going through the drive-thru
when I'm out and about talking to anyone
my confidence has changed you know if
you go back and look at my very first
video yeah I mean I wasn't I was a
little nervous I was a little shy I
don't know what to expect about this
whole YouTube thing but I knew if I just
kept doing it I would become more
confident in myself and have more
courage and and another thing is that if
you just do this if in the matter how
shy you are because you know what I'm an
introvert I am I'm trying to be more
extroverted all the time something's
something's going to change in you
you're gonna discover yourself you're
going to see different things that
you've never seen before like Tony
Robbins says you know the giant you're
going to awaken the giant within that's
what's going to happen but in order for
you to get that what's inside what's
what you feel like is stuck in you it's
just kind of stuck in there to get that
out to pull that out of you you almost
have to earn it you have to work for it
it's not gonna the first couple days not
gonna happen right it's like when public
speakers they do it for the first time
they always say it's a disaster so it
just takes more time to do it and
believe it or not you know I've created
videos almost every single day for one
year as of today there were a couple
days I missed because there was a death
in the family so I did
make I missed two days what I want to
say I missed two days I didn't really
miss those days
I just didn't make a video for two days
around that time and then in the last
couple about a couple weeks ago or a
week ago I got I got really sick I lost
my voice completely I had this like
virus thing that attacked my vocal cords
and I couldn't make a video all right so
now that's a little bit different coming
up with a reason why I can't make a
video okay that's a whole different
perspective but really it's so easy to
do when you can just have the camera set
up in one place like this camera that I
have right here it's just set up an
exact same spot and I'll use this camera
it's on a little tripod on top of my
desk behind the computer or I will just
grab my phone I don't know where it is
and I'll just hit record to walk outside
and it's just so easy to do it and
really you guys the biggest tip the gold
tip all right I was gonna include this
stuff in a course and I'm thinking about
coming out with but it's really
embarrassing the the little work that
you really need to do to to probably
have the life that you want okay we are
coming in this is the fee transparency
is the future vulnerability that's the
future this is where it's going and it's
time to start now you know it's almost
safe to say can it just be as simple as
recording yourself on camera and you
don't even have to say anything perfect
if you just made a video and posted it
on Facebook every single day or made a
live video and said hey what's up
everybody and just talked about
something and just got in that habit you
know what it really is that simple just
showing up every single day just like
they say that's half the battle right
there just showing up right
but there are so many people that can't
do this now I'm not saying that's a good
thing there is an advantage okay now I
think everybody should do this but
everybody's not but many people are
afraid to come forward they're afraid to
make videos they have the technology now
there's really no excuse not to record
yourself to make a live video there
there isn't or any kind of video doesn't
have to be lied whatever you want to do
there's no I mean we have it's so easily
accessible to us just right there and
I'm gonna tell you right now so many
people do not do this okay this gives
you an advantage we have 7 million 7
billion people in the world right
they're not all on YouTube we come onto
YouTube it looks like there's lots of
people on there and so we feel like oh
well I don't want to do it because all
the knowledge that I have everybody else
already talks about it on YouTube so so
why should I even bother doing that why
should I even bother talking about this
or that on YouTube because there's
already videos out there on that subject
but here's what you're missing
there's one thing that's not out there
enough and that's you because you are
unique there's nobody else out there
like you you're mannerism your
expressions your your voice the way you
look your body the way you move your
hands you are unique you have a unique
personality and I'm gonna tell you right
now and I don't even it's crazy how
maybe there's probably some of you
watching this right now that may not
understand this or get this just yet
hopefully you will it is that
people being more vulnerable being more
transparent coming out from behind to
stop hiding behind the computer and
bring yourself out so everybody can see
you and you don't even have to be that
clever you don't have to speak clearly
you don't have to have be on point with
on every video and have every piece of
content all everything all your steps
we're going to talk about this today and
number one number two and everything's
just has to be epic content every single
time absolutely perfect
well imperfection is beautiful and if I
were to sit here and tell you right now
everything that you have everything all
everything about yourself all you have
everything that you're born with that is
enough to set you free it is that's all
you need you don't have to include
anything I think Gary Vaynerchuk said if
you create a video every day for one
year you'll never have to worry about
money again well guys it's been a year
and if you've been hanging around me
awhile my financial situation has
changed and you know what
the first three weeks I started my
youtube channel I had no subscribe I
think I have one subscriber I think it
was like spam or if they go as my wife
and then just stopped
I had no subscribers hardly any views I
thought about giving up I wanted to give
up I did but I just kept doing it even
though I didn't know what to expect what
was going to happen there were days I
didn't want to do it days I felt shy and
I'll be honest with you I've been doing
this for exactly a year now today and I
still get a little bit nervous I still
do a lot of speakers say that before
they get on stage you know it doesn't
matter how many years they do it they
just don't get that little butterfly in
the stomach thing going on before they
walk up there
something that this could change your
life not only just for financial reasons
and stuff like that or beginning
subscribers and viewers although those
things are great and nice and I do it
for those reasons too but it's for the
person that you will become and the
change in transformation that I know you
really really want and that you really
really know that this is what really
needs to happen and that so if you are
shy if you are an introvert that's great
and if you feel like you don't want to
be shy anymore well there's only one way
to untie yourself right and that's to
expose yourself is to is to come out and
be vulnerable sharing your story of who
you are okay because a lot of people are
gonna be watching you and they're not
gonna be able to do it so you're going
to be the hero for them but that's the
best thing you can do because if not you
may stay in that same place for years
you know 1 2 3 4 or 5 years from now you
could be in the same place so start now
alright hope you guys got some value on
this video just wanted to come out and
this is something that I was really
sensitive about it really bothered me
when I first started on YouTube and I
was nervous I was and so but those are
my tips it's been one year since I've
made this YouTube since my very first
youtube video on this channel and I
can't believe it time has just went by
so fast but I've I've noticed changes in
myself and I think if you apply and do
the same thing you're gonna notice big
changes and magical things are going to
happen and come your way
