five websites right now but before that

become a community manager and earn

anywhere from thirty thousand all the

way up to seventy thousand dollars a

year according to monster.com you can

make between ten and fifteen dollars an

hour to chat over social media answer

emails replying and deleting comments

addressing complaints calming things

down a little bit in different forms and

communities so you're watching for

flames and things like that okay so

there's a lot of things that you guys

can do and this is really really cool so

let's just go over the five websites

right now the first one is live world

okay now this company offers at-home

careers in social media moderation okay

they have positions available right now

if you speak English but it's also

bilingual so you know other other

languages they are recruiting for our

languages like Arabic Chinese Danish

French Italian Japanese Spanish Sweden

and Thai okay so alright so the

requirements are that you guys must be

at least 18 years or older speak fluent

in whichever language yet that you were

applying for or for and then have good

communication skills you can also work

several hours at a time good knowledge

of email and instant messaging programs

and things like that so how much are

they going to pay well hourly moderators

are making anywhere from eight to nine

dollars an hour and all the training is

going to be paid for so that's really

cool and they just require you to work a

minimum of 30 hours per week okay so if

some of the skills there's not a whole

lot of skills but you guys just make

sure that you are fluent in in the

language that you are applying for okay

so how much do they pay well I went over

here I looked around a little bit and

they're going to pay you monthly and it

really varies depending on your

experience okay so I've been I looked

around a little bit though over on

glassdoor.com it says that they're

paying somewhere around fifteen dollars

an hour thirty two thousand dollars a

year okay so if you guys want to go

agency com or you can just type into

Google the social element and it should

come up on the first page and then so

what you guys are going to do is just

come over here where it says get in

that'll take you over to here they're

gonna tell you a little bit more about

it what's gonna be happening

anyway you scroll all the way down to

the very bottom and you're gonna see a

button here that says vacancies so go

ahead and click on that

that'll take you over to this page

they're gonna explain everything about

the recruitment you know the company

that you have to go through to apply and

everything like that so go ahead and

check it out

they're gonna give you the current jobs

and show you the current open positions

for working remotely all that's going to

be listed right here okay so check it

out guys that's a social element and the

other website is Mod Squad this is over

at Mod Squad comm this company provides

customer support community and

moderation services they have worked

with some pretty big brands like the NFL

Warner Brothers Showtime

a and E PBS Kids and many many more okay

so you're gonna be doing things like

live chats you can handle inbound calls

but you don't have to do that so I'll

explain that in just a moment but you're

also going to be moderating forms and

doing different things so the great

thing about Mod Squad is that you get to

choose the projects that you want to

work on the most and so it allows you to

set your own hours as well which is

really cool so according to

glassdoor.com

82% of the people that have worked for

mod squad they recommend it to who they

would recommend it to a friend so that's

pretty good and so far as how much

you're going to get paid I found that

the mod squad doesn't quite pay out as

much as the other websites you're gonna

be looking at somewhere around between

nine and eight dollars an hour okay so

lithium now this is one of the largest

firms for providing customer service and

moderation okay they work with large

companies like you know eBay air B&B

they offer social media management they

moderate online communities they also

provide messaging services as well

lithium is now hiring people to work

remotely to moderate communities online

okay and for a

position they're gonna pay somewhere

around $12 an hour if you guys want to

apply for this company as well just

scroll down all the way down to the very

bottom and right here it's gonna be a

little button you can barely see it but

it says careers on it go ahead and click

you over to this page and then you guys

can see the current job openings from

here okay now they have positions open

you know they open and close all the

time so the best thing to do is just to

different locations but if you guys are

in the u.s. if you're in Canada you can

choose us remote which means that it's

other one here is crisp now this is over

at crisp thinking calm now this is a

little bit different company they

specialize in protecting kids and teens

from cyberbullying and toxic content on

the internet okay they offered their

clients like a 24/7 coverage removal of

any inappropriate social media content

within about like 15 minutes of posting

so that's pretty impressive so far as

the high rains concern of the higher

social media mount moderators to work as

independent contractors both in the US

and the UK okay and so what you guys are

going to be doing you're gonna be

reviewing classified content providing

feedback on any emerging trends and

provide a daily report summarizing any

issues that you guys come across okay

so some of some of the requirements are

going to be you know you must have good

English obviously you must be a fast

learner

strong worth work ethnic and have a Mac

computer or windows-based PC
