and what they say is that they offer
short transcription tasks for you and
these are available day and night so
that you can basically work anytime and
anywhere you want ok so it's free to
sign up you're gonna be paid instantly
and they also offer several

as well so but let me just kind of be
really upfront with you guys you know
you really can't make a full-time career
doing this but if you have some basic
typing skills and you want to earn some

transcription tasks called hits which
means it basically means human

you complete one hit that will be
compiled together with other hits to
make a full-length video so later that
day your hit could be part of a big
featured news broadcast it could be
featured and you can have your
transcripts at a university lecture or
even on YouTube okay or something like
that so how you guys are going to sign
up what you're going to do is go right
over to crowd-surf were calm and then
click right over here where it says get
started and that'll take you over to
this page right here now you know at one
point you needed to become an Amazon imp
Turk you need to have or you need to
have an Amazon Mechanical Turk account
to access the different transcription
jobs for crowd-surf however at this time
it looks like you can sign up through a
company called work market in order to
get access to the jobs ok so what you
guys are gonna do you're just going to
submit your profile and wait about 24
hours for them to review it ok and then
you choose your desired payment method
and then you will complete a short
assessment so they can analyze your
skills and you'll need to wait about 3
to 5 days to get fully approved so you
guys can start working ok now how much
are you guys going to get paid and
before that you can also go over to this
page to learn more you can click on try
try crowd-surf that will take you over
to this page where you guys can learn a
little bit more about the benefits the
skills uh you know whatever that is
required of you to do the job and also
what they
recommend and some tips and things like
that before you guys start the work okay
so now now what do you guys are what are
you gonna get paid doing this well let's
consider a 30-second video file that
will give you about 20 cents per media
minute okay now since it takes one
minute of actual time typing a 30-second
media file your actual earnings would be
somewhere around 10 cents okay so if you
work like this for about 60 minutes then
your actual earnings will be somewhere
around $6 per hour okay
but again guys you know you're not gonna
get rich doing this but if you do have
