today I wanted to do a video on how to
handle payments with new social media
marketing clients on this this is the
app that I use it's called square app
I'm going to include the link in the
description box so that you can access
it
this is the best invoicing system it's
similar to PayPal but I love square
squares honestly the best invoicing
easy to handle sale you know any type of
transaction their fees are semi low so
you know I love square I'm going to kind
of take you through how it looks so this
is how I send out invoices to all my
clients right when I get a new client
whether they're paying $1,000 a month or
$2,000 a month whatever service I have
them on I send them an invoice 3 square
and it's really simple the app looks
like this on your phone super simple you
can create the create a really nice
invoice and it works like it it looks
like this I'm going to show you an
example in my email of what it looks
like let's see right here ok so this was
an invoice though is paid by one of my
social media clients that I am helping
him build his agency but this was just
you know for consulting work but this is
a it sends out like this right
you can put your business your agency
name right up here it's going to say
invoice to the customer right and then
obviously how much whatever you're
charging at one thousand two thousand
dollars to your client or if you're
doing consulting you know I charge $75
an hour but and it's really nice it has
your invoice number everything the
clients name very easy to use very
professional that's why I like square
everything is professional it's coming
from forward revenue media and they send
you an email when you get paid right so
here's the dashboard this is what the
online dashboard looks like I don't use
the online dash
or too much I prefer using the app it's
much easier very easy but he'd come here
go to invoices right if you need to set
up an invoice go to create invoice now
you can type in your customer okay and
this is nice because it keeps track of
all your customers super simple to use
you can pull up your customer against
them send them a nice professional
invoice we're going to use my one of my
clients Andre for example and right you
can put your title this for if you're
going to charge you know for a social
media management
that's exactly exactly what the title
should be so social media marketing and
management right
it has your invoice number already
preset you can write a message I like to
use the standard one that they they
already provide you we appreciate your
business really easy very automated
right this is an automated system once I
close the deal with a client they're
willing to pay five hundred bucks for
Facebook advertising rather giving you
that ad budget I'm going to send them an
invoice for the ad budget in in the
title alright advertise Facebook
advertising budget if they want to do
social media management for $1,000 or
$2,000 I'm going to title with this
let's see some invoice by email it's
going to go directly to their email you
could send immediately and then you can
put the due date which is really nice
too because you can you know if you want
them to pay you right in there you can
put do today or you can pick a further
date out which is nice too because if
they plan on doing business with you
more than one month more than you know
recurring every month you just send them
an invoice a week before right you're
going to send it if the the week if the
month ends on a Friday send it that
Monday just so that they have a reminder
um you know that the next month is
coming around send them that invoice and
then it's really nice too because on
Friday you could just press there's a
button on the app that's just send
reminder and it mails them again
if they haven't paid so super simple
obviously you can put the item which
would be social media management
quantity one and then the price there's
some reason the price isn't working
right now oh you got to add item social
media management now you could put the
price so we're going to put $1,000
because that's our basic package right
that we charge the total is it up for
you thousand dollars a lot of customer
to add a tip well if you've been a good
good customer to them and you you're
going to choose to add a tip but we're
not going to do that today and then you
just press send that's it in its ends
and it's going to look like how we
pulled that one invoice up it's going to
look very professional board revenue
media it's going to say invoice or
social media management customer then
your price that and they could literally
put in their credit card PayPal whatever
they want they can put it in there and
pay you right away so and it goes
straight to your phone right when you
get paid you get a notification that you
know the money is has been paid to you
and the nicest thing about square is
that they transfer the money into your
bank account the next day I love that I
love getting paid real quick real simple
real easy square is definitely the you
know invoicing system and transaction
system you should definitely use you
could download it on the mobile store
but I'm going to again that links down
below if you want to use square I
definitely recommend you do this if you
plan on getting new clients for social
media marketing and you want to charge
them but you have you want to have it
look professional you want to look like
a reputable agency use square it's going
to
them a nice invoice and you get paid
right away think money in your bank
account the next day so I hope this
