anyone has ever told you that you have a

really good voice well you can make a

full-time income by becoming a voice

actor or actress working from home so

you don't have to go to a studio or

anything like that everything can be

done right from home and so let's go

over some of the voice-over jobs that

you guys can do so one of them is radio

and commercials

TV commercials and you know people are

always coming out with new

advertisements and different commercials

and they are looking for people new

fresh new people to do these voiceovers

and so you can actually do commercials

another one is educational and eLearning

type jobs a company will make an

instructional video and they will need

somebody to do the voice-over for that

video and you can be the one to do that

as well

another one is audiobooks so we've all

heard of audiobooks you know books are

just being read less and less you know

with with our busy life's

now these days you know it's just easier

just to plug in the headphones or drive

in your car and listen to audiobooks so

lots of work done or lots of work needed

in that area as well the other one is a

phone prompter you know if you've ever

called

a business and the first thing you hear

is an audio message well you can

actually be the one to do that audio

message I know a lot of companies are

updating the different messages all the

time and you can be the one to do that

as well so let's go ahead and jump it

here so where do you guys actually find

the work how can you get started and so

let's come over here and the first one I

want to show you guys is Fiverr the one

thing I like about fiverr.com is that

you guys don't really need any

credential so you don't need any

experienced that a lot of the other

companies are going to require from you

all you have to do is just come on here

and make a profile someone will listen

to your demo you got to make a demo for

this and if they like your voice then

they will hire you it's as simple as

that so just as an example let's click

over here on this guy's right here and

listen to some of his samples here one

of the great things I like about Fiverr

is that they give you the ability to

post in an audio track or a video and so

people can actually hear it right when

they go to the profile they just click

on play and it'll play it back hi my

name is Bill and thank you for looking

at my gig when you hire me for your

voice which so they can just browse

through here by clicking on the

different arrows and go through the

carousal and listen to the different

demos that you have so it's pretty

straightforward

design okay so let's go over the price

here you can see that he has $10 which

looks very appealing to most people you

know but once you get in there and just

keep in mind that if you notice this is

only for 25 words and most people are

probably going to need more than that if

I change this to 50 it's going to say

that's going to cost $20 but the great

thing about Fiverr is that they enable

you to add more services because if I

hover over continue and I come down here

you know most people are going to need a

faster delivery so they're going to

upgrade another $20 it's going to cost

them that they're gonna add-on on top of

the already $20 that's gonna be $40 and

they're possibly going to need the

original high-quality file of the

voiceover so well he has down here

that's an extra $20 and then background

music and things like that how does you

know splitting the files up and so you

can see how this can quickly get up

there to around $100 right on Fiverr so

that's one of the things that I like

about it is that you can add all these

extra services let's go over to the

other one here the other one is filmless

this is a little company that it

actually has connections with big

fortune 500 companies if you want to get

your foot in the door and do some jobs

for those bigger companies well you guys

check out filmless if you guys do have

any experience with voiceover work

already

you can check this out they do require

five years plus of recording experience

I must have your own home studio they

require in some cases there may be like

a 24 hour turnaround time so you must be

able to produce and record something

that fast and also be able to record

pickup lines as requested by clients and

also provide a master tract prior to

delivery as well and so a little bit

more experience with filmless but if you

guys are interested and you do have

experience to just come over here and

click on I'm interested and that'll walk

you through you guys can make an account

and and sign up and apply the other one

is snap recordings this one is pretty

straightforward

you guys lots of

work here they really just want to they

want to know who you are and they want

to hear your voice there's no

information about any type of

credentials or experience they just want

to see you know your talent they want to

hear your voice and your talent and what

you would do is come over here fill out

your name and where you're located and

then what you would do is upload your

demo file right here and then possibly

give them a link to your website so if

they are interested in you they can go

to your website and read more about you

and a little bit more about where you

heard about them and then just go ahead

and click on submit if they like your

work if they like your voice they'll be

contacting you okay the other one is up

work this is a freelancer website maybe

some of you have heard about it this is

where you can post your services well

another good thing I like about up work

is that you do not need any experience

or all these different qualifications to

get work all you would do is that you

would just make a profile and set your

price you can name your own price okay

and then you can post your demos so

people can come by and listen to your

voice listen to your voiceover work and

your talent and if they like it then

they can you know they can get in touch

with you and you can also bid on jobs so

people a clients post that they are

looking for voice-over artists and so

what you would do is you would go on

there you would sign up and then

whenever a job posts up you can bid on

that job and if you have the lowest bid

at the best price for the best voice for

the job you'll get hired pretty

straightforward on up work become a

freelancer voice-over artist alright so

the other one here is voice bunny you

can become a part of a huge team of of

different voiceover artists doing

presentations movie trailers product

videos and even video games so voice

bunny you may need a little bit of

experience to get this really going but

what you would do is go to the website

and you can actually listen to

voiceovers that are already there

I'll click on listen to voiceovers you

can select the script length right here

if you want to and that'll go over to

this page right here

a bunch of different samples will appear

over here and you guys can just go

through here and listen to a few just to

kind of get an idea of you know just a

copy Ortiz is ready for action let's

watch the legend get to work and it

looks like so to apply what you guys

would do I'll zoom in here a little bit

and what you would do is go down to the

very bottom of the website there's a

link here that says voiceover Jobs once

you click on that that will take you

over to this page right here and then

you guys would just scroll down and then

right here it says apply to become a

bunny pro as they would call it that'll

take you through and allow you to make

an account and then you guys can apply

and submit your work ok so let's go back

over to here and let's talk about tools

and some of the equipment that you guys

will need for the voice-over work now

you're going to need a pretty good

microphone I mean a decent microphone

but this is not going to cost you

thousands of dollars or anything like

that might be about a hundred dollars or

maybe a little bit more to get started

what this is right here what you're

looking at is the audio technica at2020

this is the microphone that I have right

here it has a really really good sound

you can you know you can really get

close to it and you know for those from

really deep you know suspense type

voiceovers so that you want to do this

is actually a condenser microphone so

which means that it does pick up a lot

of the outside noise so you're going to

need a quiet room for this however it

does have a large diaphragm so it does

pick up a lot of really good frequencies

low and high so if you do have a low

voice or even a high voice it's going to

be able to accommodate those different

frequencies another one is the Samsung Q

to you this is a dynamic microphone

which means that it's going to cut out a

lot of the outside noise and it's just

going to focus right there on your voice

so this is really good if you are in a

very noisy environment you just can't

seem to get the outside noise low enough

to do your audio then you might want to

look at something more like a dynamic

microphone also I didn't include it on

this video but there's also something

called a shotgun mic

which also might be good to cut out any

outside noise as well I just want to let

you guys know that all these microphones

are USB so they plug right into your

computer you don't need any outboard

gear or any mixers or anything like that

just plugs directly into your computer

and then you can enhance the sound after

you record it another one is the blue

Yeti I included this because it's a

fairly popular microphone out there a

lot of people use it a lot of youtubers

use this microphone and then I used to

actually own this microphone it does

have a nice crisp sound it's a little

bit more it's a little bigger and a

little bit more bulkier but it does have

a really nice sound to it so go ahead

and check out the blue Yeti which is

also a condenser microphone and just as

a little bonus here something that I

would recommend for you guys is a

portable vocal booth this is so this

sound is going to be a little bit more

focused on just your voice and not all

the reverberations and the reflection

and the reflections in the room or

around the microphone which can happen

because you know when you're voicing

when you're talking your voice is being

bounced off the walls and stuff in the

room and that reverberation can go

directly in the microphone and you don't

want that so when to enhance the quality

a little bit more and to also cut out a

lot of the outside noise you can get a

portable vocal booth that you can take

pretty much anywhere with you

the port of booth pro which you're

seeing here is available as well as all

the equipment that i've showed you on

this video is available on amazon.com

ok so let's check out some software

there's some free software that you can

use to edit and slice up your voice

recordings you know if you want to add

multi tracks or if you want to over or

underlay music on your recordings you

can do all of that with audacity and

this is a hundred percent free it's some

open-source software that's been around

for quite a long time and this is also

available for Windows and Mac so if you

have either of those platforms and

you're really really good to go and so
