How YOU CAN CLOSE $3500 In Social Media Marketing Clients ft. #Best Education Page #Online EarningNick Payton

How YOU CAN CLOSE $3500 In Social Media Marketing Clients ft. Nick Payton

what's up this is Ryan Hildreth and
today I had the pleasure of interviewing
one of my social media marketing
students
he's currently making thirty five
hundred dollars per month which is
$42,000 in profit per year and he was
able to build his agency in under two
months which is amazing but Before we
jump into the interview I just want to
say that if you haven't taken action yet
in social media marketing this is one of
the most lucrative industries to get
into the barrier of entry is very low
right now and it's really easy to build
a six-figure agency whether you're at a
corporate job you hate your nine-to-five
or you're in college and you're not
thinking of you know working under a
boss someone telling you what to do and
you really want to venture off tip into
business and entrepreneurship or you're
in high school and you just want to get
started early with making money this is
the best industry to do so so I hope
that you enjoy this interview I hope
that you could take a lot from what you
learned in this interview and apply it
into your social media marketing
business or your entrepreneurial
ventures and we'll jump right into it
what's up YouTube this is Ryan Hildreth
here with Nick Payton welcome to the
channel I just wanted to bring him you
know kind of highlight his success with
social media marketing so far but he has
a wide background of different different
types of investing so different types of
businesses so kind of introduce yourself
Nick to let everyone know kind of what
you're about yeah yeah so I took Ryan's
course on social media marketing and
then got introduced to him and so in two
months I was able to get to 3,500
dollars a month so it's four clients
I've got a gym a nursery like long
landscaping I've got a jewelry store and
I've got a dentist's office
also it's been going great I mean two
months is a very short amount of time to
turn into a twenty thousand dollar your
business already in revenue
so and I think it's really scalable
honestly you know it's really just as
far as you want to try and grow the
company and then Ryan and I were talking
I just joined the affiliate marketing
course because I saw the value of that
so I'll keep everybody posted on how
that goes
but but yeah but as far as my background
some Ekron investor invest in the stock
market as well as commercial real estate
like multi-unit properties and so yeah
commercially it's also a point now I'm
going to hotel them but um yeah but yeah
so but I'm from New Jersey just outside
of Philadelphia but yeah glad that's
said about me yeah so Nick you obviously
have some you know real estate
background you have some background in
investing in the stock market how does
how does that I guess skillset tie over
to social media marketing like did you
just jump into social media marketing as
a new kind of new avenue or was it
something that you said you know I could
apply my skill sets in these areas and
kind of apply it to social media
marketing I just kind of give me your
perspective on that
sure um so I've always been interested I
majored in marketing and finance in
college so I've always been interested
in the Gorillaz of social media and how
now it's really just turned into
essentially a big part of our economy
it's where a lot of businesses are being
grown as you're smart and marketing the
right way and so I just saw an
opportunity and you know I asked Gary B
for a lot of his business and which
carried over and got me interested in
that Avenue I guess and then I found you
guys of course and but really I'm just I
like to have as many shades of income as
possible and that's really what got me
interested in it it's just I think it's
a great business honestly especially if
you don't know what you want to do and
you're trying to you know work for
yourself essentially it's a no-brainer
so Stefan weighted that point again we
always stress that too that you know
having multiple streams of income is
it's vital I mean it's vital if you're a
full-time entrepreneur because if one
income stream goes you always have
another so you're not constantly relying
on that one whereas you know if you were
in a corporate job most people I mean I
would say 90% of people in corporate
jobs rely on one stream of income their
main job so you know that's that's
partially why I got a social media
marketing up as well but sorry did I
look what did you want to say on that no
yeah I was just agreeing with you you
know think about it you could easily be
fired at any time or the economy could
tank and you could lose your income and
I know for me personally I had a wife
and an eight-month-old at home and to be
honored that motivated me a little bit
to kind of take you know even more
control of my life and you know who
knows real estate could go one day with
the market and it's good to always have
multiple streams of revenue coming in or
whether that's several different
businesses or our interests I mean just
tick things you're interested in anyway
and try and try and make a business out
of it and you know currents take control
for yourself really awesome yeah so
you're so you're making 3,500 extra from
social media marketing how did you land
those clients was there a specific
strategy or did you just kind of bought
use you know what we included in the
course or did you use some strategies
that you've learned from your own
experience so each one was a little
unique to be honest my first thought was
I'm going to target local businesses I
didn't want to stick to one niche and
that might work for some people but for
me I didn't want to limit especially
early on I didn't want to limit who I
could target so I just went out there
any business locally that I've had some
sort of connection with for instance the
jewelry stores I have a long thin
relationship with them I bought all my
wife's engagement ring and wedding rings
there so I just walked in and said hey
as you know I've done business with you
guys but I've never really mentioned
what I do and I you know just don't own
me that I said like I could help you
guys and it led into beatings and you
know it took maybe a month to close but
now you know they're they're paying
$1,000 a month for for the service and
then I have a buddy who I ran a facebook
ad for
whoo he's a gym owner I ran a facebook
ads for my media company and he
responded I actually got a couple
response but he would turn into a client
and he responded and then started
working for them the dentist I found
they were an ad in a local periodical
that came to my house and I just wrote
down the business name of every every ad
yeah and wrote down their name number
did a little background research and
cold called them and just said hey
here's what I think you're doing wrong
I'd love to work with you I live right
down the street I'm a town over I know
your area and you're Democrats so that
was a pretty easy conversation and then
the landscaping company
I was literally there picking out
landscaping for my house because we had
to rip out a bunch of stuff in the
backyard and she said what do you do
when we're talking about it and I let
her know you know social media marketing
I could help you guys out what are you
doing now and then she said this is a TV
commercial and you know so anyway I had
met with them and so yeah essentially
it's everything I from the moment I
decide to start the agency any time I'm
doing anything or out and talking to
somebody I try and lead into a
conversation and it really it's noted
before clients for me just like that
so that's awesome that's awesome that
you know it's kind of like you're just
going about your day-to-day routine but
you're mentioning your business or like
you're kind of you know because you
mentioned that you went to the jewelry
store you you've been there previously
so you kind of already knew the business
so it's just kind of like a natural
conversation
whereas I know a lot of students or you
know a lot of people going out into the
market is to actually me at first when I
first was doing it I was trying to force
a conversation you know and it was
almost came off of that in genuine but
when you you know you've been to that
business before you ate at that
restaurant or you you know use that
jewelry service like it's almost just
natural you just go in and you're like
hey I've been here before you know like
and just get to know about them yeah I
got away you know in addition to those
four I've got to notice three or four in
the pipelines right now that I've
already had either one meet
with or several phone calls where the
interest is beginning to pick up I could
see this you know I don't want to you
know get too overconfident but I could
see this doubling maybe in six months
just by keeping continuing to keep the
sales pipeline full and and I really
think that most of the people even when
you take the course I feel like action
is the biggest answer to anything if
you're if you're trying to grow
something and you're not even quite sure
how yet just make the phone call stumble
over things if you need to just to put
as long as you're acting it's gonna
it'll be fine you know yeah so
definitely that's funny because I was
just going to ask you what what advice
would you give for someone getting into
this but I think you already answered
that I mean is there any other advice
that you did you know what it is if
people yes and I've been guilty other
plenteous arms you can get frozen in
fear almost yeah and then you probably
excuse as to why it's not happening and
then you move on to something else
before you've given the full effort on
the one thing each side to focus on so
yeah definitely the piece of advice
would just be focused and just actually
really focus on action ah here awesome
um I guess what what's the I guess the
biggest thing you've learned out of from
your experience with social media
marketing that maybe wasn't in the
course or maybe is you know from your
perspective it would be good to share
with others like if you learn anything
that kind of like stood out to you that
was like wow I didn't realize this until
I started social media marketing mmm so
one thing I've noticed is so this is
this Indus industry I guess you can call
it a people starting a media companies
it's not new I mean it's new word but
I've been noticing that there's plenty
of other digital media agency and even
smaller ones what people trying to do
the exact same thing yeah literally
I stole the jewelry client from someone
that they had just signed up with that
was a social media marketing agency I
just I was them a month before I walked
in and talked to them a convinced them
to change and what it is is you have to
differentiate yourself and then
is true and anything that you start so
just for example this company that was
with the jewelry store all they were
doing for them was managing their
Facebook ads and doing a post addition
right and but they were charging them
$300 a month which is nothing and I'm so
to me I'm thinking okay how can I
differentiate myself and now I'm
noticing a trend of people are going to
try and because continue to undercut
pricing by offering basic services so
anyway I decided to quickly learn how to
do macro photography I went out bought a
lamp for my 70d so I can take detailed
artistic photos of their jewelry and
then also I can make videos a little bit
on I will be and stuff so I've made them
a few videos now of like are not
promised to do a commercial a 30-second
commercial or look and that's all part
of the value added so not only am i
doing that but then their Facebook ads
and approach today and so you have to
separate yourself that's one thing I've
noticed so people do to keep that in
mind and don't get discouraged if you go
to a business and like I just started
working with another social media or
digital agency it's like okay well and
that's great what are they doing for you
let me tell you how I could be doing
something even better than that you know
and then just outwork your competition
really do exactly that's that's all the
things stuff I say feel like you just
you just got a desk differentiate
yourself not worry about competition
just kind of get in there and take
action right and obviously you reap the
rewards of doing that so you know I
appreciate you coming on this call Nick
it's good having you in the course it's
awesome hearing your perspective on
social media marketing and I'll go ahead
and link his channel down below so you
can check it out but it was good talking
you Nick thanks sm0 all right take care
