Pat Flynn here my good buddy Chris
Tucker and we just finished up with our
one day business breakthrough event here
in San Diego and it was an amazing
amazing day we can see a lot of the
attendees in the background probably uh
you know just mingling before we go out
to dinner and have a couple drinks Chris
you want tell everybody what the event
is all about certainly can so we come
together today those 25 entrepreneurs
from all over the United States and
actually one couple came all the way
from England so I didn't feel too on my
is great and we came together with talk
business plain simple and the focus of
the event is to be able to walk away
from this as a business owner with one
major breakthrough for your business it
was really awesome to have somebody look
at my website specifically and give me
specific feedback on elements of my
website where I wasn't necessarily
asking the questions i was getting their
thought on it and then should be able to
ask follow-up questions to say what do
you think about this or doing that i
think the size of the group was
fantastic it was big enough to be able
to make connections with other people or
it's a ton of interesting people connect
with and yet still have you know really
good access to them so i think the group
size was awesome and I really enjoyed it
out we'll be coming back I also think
you go so cost fertilization of ideas as
well let you know you don't necessarily
think that somebody who's doing
something very different from you will
have something which is relevant to but
then you start hearing them talk about
it and you realize that having similar
problems to you and that can really help
to this sort of move you into a slightly
different direction the other thing is
the course the x given us access to
patent free
Christon another really cool thing is
the fact that you know every person has
their own individual time to talk about
their business but they're learning as
we're talking about other people's
businesses to like I talked to something
out to lunch who are like I learned so
much from that other site that you
distribute and I didn't think it would
matter me at all but it's totally
changing it how to approach it everybody
got 15 minute of their own time but I i
got i think i got any more value from
just listening to my people's ideas
strategies and advice from different
people it was a lot easier and clearer
for me seen from the outside so i got a
lot of value out of this and there's
something to be said for doing it in the
flesh like we could do this virtually
sell a lot more tickets make a lot more
money as the event organizers but doing
it to the point where we're right there
in the room with the people bringing up
their websites on the large screen and
going through it with everybody there's
nothing like meeting people person I
mean and then you getting this mingle
time like we have right now and we're
going to go out to dinner together and
we're going to hang out with each other
you know later and I'm sure a lot of
great connections are being made right
now fuel fuel blown from friendships
business partnerships and you know
people were going to be in contact with
each other for a long time now who would
have met
I think just being in person is a big
thing because yes you can I can go read
Pat or crystal ball I can listen to some
of their podcasts but like it's about
that energy of the main group that
really helped just gel it all in for me
you know just filling everyone's vibe
and I'm all about the group mine I do
improv personally and there's something
about a group of people when they are
actually in the same room they're able
to do things that are bigger than
themselves I've offended a lot of
webinars and virtual events but nothing
nothing compares with meeting double
person meeting fat increased the support
that that I got from this group is just
amazing I think that there's just no
substitute for meeting in person and
it's the thing because I've conversed
with that over email before and there's
just nothing like meeting a creep
somebody in person and it seems like
just that fact alone makes people just
want to help you and I had multiple
people come up to me today just offering
feedback before I even asked so that was
amazing I mean I think the best part of
the day was not just that we were able
to contribute and helping people but
other people who were here were able to
contribute to everybody else's success
that's it I mean that's you know
collectively nobody has a monopoly on
good ideas and when you get all these
people together it's just great i mean
we're talking the main names being
registered but talking entrepreneurial
pivots being put in the place your
product changes on design and the
website is just getting everyone's the
initial reactions of people
where they should go I mean stuff that
you can't get you just work with just
yourself and and and and an immense
difference from one business to another
it's not like everybody was in the
health and fitness space or you know
everyone was in the software space it
was everything that you could possibly
imagine just a great great lineup of
people and I can't wait to do it again
yeah I can't wait to see you there
hopefully the next time we do this this
is awesome
