seven years which happened in 2014 and
in this video I want to tell you about

kept me from reaching this point and
starting making money online for some of
you these three mistakes that I'm going
to tell you about may seem quite silly
and not serious but in reality there are
more dangerous that you may think so the
reason the mistake number one is shiny
object syndrome
you probably heard from other
entrepreneurs especially in the industry
of make money online about shiny object
syndrome because quite a lot of people
are falling for it and this is a serious
issue that stops you from starting
making money online and succeeding
online
so what shiny object syndrome in reality
is so basically it's jumping from one
idea to another from one method to
another before you succeed in any of
them so here is an example you decide to
go with affiliate marketing you build
your website you start publishing
articles you start building social
networks around your website and so
you're putting time and effort into your
therap marketing websites for a few
weeks to a few months and then you don't
see results as soon as you express fast
as you expected and you start to get a
little bit disappointed maybe frustrated
and at this moment you read an article
or you watch a video in youtube about
drug fitting so you find out about
business model that's called
dropshipping and you decide for yourself
that I feel that marketing sucks it's
not gonna work it takes too much time
and effort and unlikely you're gonna
make any money off your website so at
that moment you are forgetting like
leaving behind your affiliate marketing
website and jump
right - dropshipping so you're building
your Shopify store you're putting like
making let's say a product research
you're building your Shopify store
running Facebook Ads and it takes also
time to educate yourself how to do all
that and they get to use to that and
you're putting more time and effort into
dropshipping a few weeks to a few months
also money on Facebook ads and in
Shopify store and basically you are all
about drop shipping now so it's been a
couple of months so far and you still
haven't succeeded you only wasted some
time effort and money on drop shipping
and you still don't see any results all
the products that you've been testing
with Facebook as they are not winning
products they're failing they don't
bring any sales and you're just wasting
time and money and you don't see happy
ending with your drop shipping business
you don't see any profit any sales at
all and at this moment you start getting
kind of frustrated a little bit confused
you're not so motivated and also
incentivized to keep going with drop
shipping and at that moment you watch on
YouTube you read some forms or read some
blog posts and you find out about Amazon
FBA business model so at this moment you
decide that drop shipping sucks drop
shipping doesn't work it takes too much
time too much effort too much money and
you decide that Amazon eBay is the one
Amazon FBA business model will make you
reach and make you rich pretty fast and
for sure so you live behind your
affiliate marketing website Shopify drop
shipping and your all into Amazon FBA
now and you are putting more effort more
time more resources into Amazon FBA it
takes you a few weeks to a few months to
realize that Amazon FBA is not as easy
is not as simple as you thought and it
takes too much time too much effort to
see any kind of results from this
business model so at this moment you get
a bit confused a little bit frustrated a
little bit motivated and you either
start looking for new opportunity for
new
shiny object or you start thinking about
affiliate marketing for example you
watch another video about affiliate
marketing that presents you affiliate
marketing as a kind of for you now is a
new idea or the old refreshed idea that
you all of a sudden think that yes I
feel that marketing is the way to go
steel is the best business model and
you're jumping back to your old
affiliate marketing website starting
writing your articles putting more
effort and so on so forth so you're
jumping from one thing to another
without succeeding in any of them so as
a result you're wasting your the most
expensive resource wishes time so in the
end only after I focused on one single
affiliate marketing website put enough
of my time effort and resources I
finally made my first dollar online the
second mistake that was stopping me from
making my fast dollar online was
actually neglecting the power of
research in my case since I was all
about affiliate marketing in my case it
was neglecting the keyword research if
you want to build your Shopify
dropshipping store in your case it will
be niche and product research so why it
was holding me back and not letting me
succeed and make my first dollar online
the thing is that when I was doing my
keyword research I was doing this kind
of in a simple way overlooking a lot of
major factors that defines how difficult
those keywords were how difficult how
hard it would be to rank them in Google
and I was thinking that well yeah those
guys who were trying to rank those
keywords probably are not doing they
work well enough but me I'm I'm gonna do
my work properly and I will rank how
outrank every single one of them and I
will be number one in Google search for
those keywords and in reality instead of
hunting down those low competition
keywords with high monthly searches I
was going for very competitive keywords
that was impossible to rank for a guy
like me who was just starting out with
affiliate marketing and SEO only after I
started doing a proper keyword research
and compared
analysis I managed to find those low
competition keywords and rank them
within half a year and mistake number
three that hold me back about seven
years before I reached the point when I
started making money online was getting
emotionally involved by this I mean
instead of judging by tribe facts had
numbers I was getting emotionally
involved and I was thinking that my
niche is better my articles are better
and they will out-compete how trunk
those articles that are in top ten
results of Google and I was neglecting
the keyword research results competition
analysis thinking that those guys they
miss something they didn't do their job
properly and my website my content
everything that I'm doing is going to be
better than theirs and Google will rank
it higher than everyone else and as I
mentioned in my mistake number two only
after I started following dry facts and
numbers doing proper keyword research
proper competition analysis I finally
managed to rank my website in Google
search started saying traffic and
started making my first sales so guys I
