journey to many of you I promise to make
a video where I reveal the truth that
stands behind drop shipping drop
shipping recently is probably one of the
most popular and trending business model
how to make money online and there are a
lot of gurus and experts that teach
people how to do that how to start with
this business model and the thing is
that this business model drop shipping
is presented as something really easy
beginner friendly and to make people buy
their courses of those experts and and
gurus on the internet they tend to
reveal only part of information and they
don't speak they don't tell a lot of
other things and this created basically
some myths on the internet that I read a
lot in the groups on Facebook or in the
comments on YouTube on the forums and in
other communities so I decided to make
this video to let people know especially
those ones who are thinking to start
with drop shipping or they started and
failed and they feel that they're the
only ones who failed and there is some
kind of problem that they don't really
get I want to say straight away that in
this video I'm talking mainly about
Shopify plus Aliexpress business model
there are a lot of different job
shipping business models which are in
reality valid and solid methods how to
make money but they are not as popular
and they are not as simple and easy for
beginners so in this video I'm talking
exclusively about Al Express
and Plus Shopify these myths can be
applicable to other dropshipping ways as
well there are a lot of a lot of things
in common but I'm focusing only on
Shopify Plus Aliexpress because this is
the method that is being taught in the
majority of courses so yeah I created a
list of 7 most popular myths about
dropshipping myth number one is that
drop shipping is a legit get-rich-quick
method although it is possible for few
exceptional people who tried it out and
succeeded really fast and strayed away
from from the first try but the reality
is that it is not so here's the thing
why drop shipping became so popular and
trending method how to make money online
the thing is
experts and gurus who teach how to do
drop shipping sell their courses they
present drop shipping as something
really easy to do really easy to start
you like you don't need let's say
business plan you don't need a lot of
preparation you don't need a lot of
money to invest and all you have to do
is pretty much just set up a Shopify
store which is already quite easy to to
set up then you choose the product then
you create a basic simple Facebook ad
run that ad test like different
audiences or test another product and
within a week or two you find a winning
product and then you all of a sudden
start selling it for like thousands a
day and all that money goes into your
pocket and you become rich without even
buying product and you know creating a
solid business in reality it is not as
simple as it sounds
there are many many factors to this from
creating a website the majority of
people setting up
website without even adding about last
page without adding solid descriptions
of the products without branding their
shop basically they're creating scammy
looking shop and hoping that they will
succeed with this kind of setup another
thing is choosing a product if you think
that you're going to follow step by step
guide that you are shown in the course
that you paid for or so in the video on
YouTube and you will find a winning
product straight away the truth is that
you have to test a lot of products if
you will succeed with the first product
that you chose and started testing you
can consider yourself as lucky it's like
winning a lottery ticket and to test
products you usually need to have quite
a lot of money on to spend on Facebook
ads and time and so on the third thing
is Facebook Ads
if you think that you're gonna create a
first Facebook ad with the first product
and you're gonna win is the same lottery
winning ticket situation the truth is
that you will have to experiment a lot
with Facebook Ads you will have to try a
different audiences different types of
ads maybe different creatives different
formats and types of ads like website
conversions PPE and and so on the
reality is that the majority of people
who even succeeded with drop shipping
and making decent amount of money right
now they failed multiple times before
they created a winning shop found a
winning product found an audience that
would appreciate that product and start
buying it and it takes also time and
money so if you want to get rich quick
and you think that drop shipping is the
right method to do so I would suggest
you to look for now

saturated and to reply to this question
let me first of all show you a

keyword dropshipping as you can see
dropshipping has been growing over the
last months and still growing every
single day you probably saw a lot of
comments on YouTube on Facebook on
forums and in other communities that
people start complaining and talking
about the fact that that dropshipping is
saturated the possibility to succeed
with dropshipping is gone at the same
time the Guru's and the experts who sell
their courses on dropshipping say the
opposite that there is always enough
market and place for newcomers when you
and trip renews and it's always possible
to make money with dropshipping the
reality is although it is possible to
succeed with dropshipping even if you're
just starting out but the competition is
extremely high let's look into it a bit
deeper the first thing that you have to
do to start your drop shipping business

on Aliexpress when you're choosing a
product you want to have not only a good
reputation of a seller but also good
reviews of the product and not only good
reviews but this product has to be
selling successfully already because if
you will be selling a product that no
one bought before and and there is no

doesn't correspond to the description or
it's it's fake or there is some other
problems and you may face a lot of
charge backs and refunds and when you're
searching for these kind of products you
will realize that there are not as many
as it seemed from the beginning and
considering that you want to find not
just any random product but you want to
find a product that is selling but also
has a quite low competition
and quite original and high-quality and
extremely low price and has some some
different options like different colors
or different patterns or something else
to offer some kind of options to your
customers so it's not as easy to find
even potentially successful product to
test it out and the thing is that you
are not the only one who is following
exactly the same steps and criteria when
trying to find a potential successful
product and what it means it means
extremely high competition on Aliexpress
the second thing is the competition on
Facebook ads for example if you are
going into cats niche and you found that
extremely nice-looking necklace with
extremely low price like for one dollar
with a great cat cute cat picture or
some some text like crazy cat lady or
something you think that it will trigger
emotions it will sell really well to cat
owners or cat ladies and they're going
to Facebook ads and looking for
audiences of course there are quite a
lot of audiences for cats owners for
cats fans and just people who loves cats
but at the same time you are sharing all
the groups and pages related to cats
with every single person who wants to
run any other product related to cat on
Facebook ads and if you consider that
there are not as many products on
aliexpress worth selling on a Shopify
store with really high markup you can
imagine how many people are sharing the
same audience and trying to sell exactly
the same item as you do on Facebook ads
so in the end it increases prices for
the ads for all of you for you for
another person who's selling who is
trying trying to sell advertise exactly
the same
product of Facebook ads and it also
increases the competition in the
audience so the people are seeing
exactly the same product that is being
sold on various shops on the Internet so
speaking about competition if you are
just about to start your drop shipping
business what I would suggest is think
outside the box and look for a product
to sell on your Shopify store in other
places
I will not go deep into this topic in
this video but one of the things to
consider is print-on-demand services
myth number three you only need five
dollars a day to succeed with drop
shipping to find that winning product
and start making money of course there
is a chance that it will be enough for
you to spend only $5 a day and find the
winning product that will start bringing
money to you within a few days but the
chances are extremely low the truth is
that you will need quite a decent amount
of money to launch your drop shipping
business in one of the groups dedicated
to drop shipping it's a it's a closed
group to one of the courses paid courses
are quite expensive once and one of the
members of the group asks a question how
much money has everyone spent so far on
Facebook ads or like trying to find a
winning product or before they found the
winning product if they already found
and started making money the answers
actually surprised me big time the
majority of people spent a few hundred
dollars before they found a winning
product that started making them sales
motive that some of the members spent
two to four thousand dollars and they
still haven't found a winning product
that means that the average amount of
money that you need to launch your drop
shipping business varies within hundreds
of dollars and when you find your
winning product it's time to scale and
for scaling you will need even more
although the customers will be buying
your product from your shop you will be
getting their money before you will be
paying to an Express it still will take
you a few days to clear that amount and
be able to use it to buy the product so
you will need some buffer money to use
for Facebook ads and to buy product and
if you will be scaling up quite fast
then you will need even more money to do
so myth number four drop shipping is
hassle free business model although the
whole concept of drop shipping is quite
seems quite simple you don't need
warehouse to stock products you don't
need to buy a product to store it before
you're gonna sell it you don't need
office you don't need employees you can
literally run the whole business from
your home however if you think about the
process of running drop shipping
business after you set up the store
after you found the winning products and
everything started to kick off then it
becomes a real business with real
customers with real products every
single time when someone buys a product
on your Shopify website you will have to
go to Aliexpress and fill out the fields
and process that order so that the
supplier sent that order to your
customer for the customer you will be
the contact person and responsible for
the whole store for the whole business
every single question that they will be
having there will be content contacting
you and you will have to provide a
professional full time customer service
it will also be responsible for charge
bags for refunds for lost items for
delayed delivery and so on so if you
think that as soon as you launch your
drop shipping business your Shopify
store and they start making money then
you will be able to just sit back in
your chair and relax and watch how the
money flashing into your bank account
it's not the case it will actually
become your
full-time job of course you will be the
owner of the business and you will be
able to hire virtual assistants or
real-life assistants or partner with
someone else but at the same time you
will still have a lot of things to do
apart from processing orders and deal
with customers like developing your
business expanding your brand building
your email list promoting your website
and so on myth number five you need only
one winning product to succeed with drop
shipping business although this is again
partially true and the majority of
successful drop shipping businesses
started successfully only because they
found that one single winning product
but it's not enough
very often that one single winning
product that they found it was winning
only for a certain period of time
basically with Facebook ads it is so
that after a certain period of time your
ads are dying out so you're running your
Facebook ads for a certain product and
you start seeing sales then you scale
those ads and sales increases as well
and you think that from now on the sales
will never end and as soon as you run
this successful ad you'll be getting
sales over and over again but the truth
is that this ad will die out in a
certain period of time it will depend on
the audience on the product on the ad as
itself and you will need or change the
type of ad or change the audience or
test in other products you will
constantly have to be looking for new
opportunities it's like never ending
process myth number six the only thing
that matters is product although the
product is probably one of the most
important things when we are speaking
about drop shipping and how to succeed
with drop shipping but the reality is
that there are so many details that
impact on the success of your drop
shipping business and especially when
you are just starting out these these
things as I was saying before he

about us page without contact us without
social media profiles with the same logo
with the same brand name then people
will just not trust you enough to pay
you money for the product that you're
selling on your website then apart from
the product Facebook has of course this
is another important thing it's not
enough to just follow step by step
instructions of the experts that are
teaching you how to run Facebook Ads for
dropshipping it depends on the audience
it depends on on the product it depends
on creatives it depends on demographics
it depends on many many factors what
type of ads you have to run how you have
to run them and how much money you have
to invest from the beginning and and so
on so there is no step-by-step feed for
all instruction that if you will follow
these certain steps then you are
guaranteed to succeed all those people
who spent from $50 to $3,000 when they
were looking and testing for product
they were following the same course the
same steps the same instructions how to
run Facebook ads and what kind of
creative to do and what type of ads to
run and so on but as you can see it
varies big-time
so speaking what matters in order to
succeed with dropshipping I would say
matters the whole combination of all the
details it's like a car you have to put
everything together in order to be able
to drive it myth number 7 drop shipping
is easy and beginner friendly I don't
agree with that 400 percent after I went
through the previous six myths I think
that you already got the idea that drop
shipping is not as simple and easy as it
may seem as it is presented on the
internet and in reality drop shipping is
quite complicated business model to
increase your chances
of success with drop shipping business
model I would say that you would need to
have previous experience in digital
marketing or any other methods how to
make money online in conclusion I would
like to say a few words I didn't have an
intention to discourage you and say that
drop shipping is not worth it it's it's
not a good idea it doesn't work and so
on no not at all the goal of this whole
video is to point out a few things that
are not common in the mainstream related
to drop shipping so the idea was to show
you that drop shipping is not as simple
as it may seem at the beginning before
you're starting out so this way you know
what to expect and you can prepare
yourself even better so that's pretty
