to start and then maybe we could talk
about the custom CSS video that I put up

some websites let me show you a
transition so what we want to do is get

they're all WordPress Amazon affiliate
websites I think I'm happy to look at
any sort of website really whether it be
anything really anything you like but
yeah tonight I think let me just pull up
the list I'm gonna Shh so you that stuff
again again there's nothing too exciting
to see they're just all my random notes
so I don't use a notebook anymore papers
gone I just use this Notes app and yeah
it's cool all my important notes there
so anyway the first website tonight now
to be fair I have looked at a few of
them already not all of them usual you
know preparation and all that stuff and
I remember last week we did have that
one with which was of a slight political
nature now I think I'm bored I'm gonna
avoid sites that cover risk ace subjects
like politics or religion or anything
like that that got away of it last week
because I didn't check all the sites
before before sharing them we're in and
that's a similar case today although I
have seen a few of them and they they
were pretty good so let's start this one
I'm waffling living fully Plus now I'm
wondering is this is this where are you
the International full of woman network
is this your site I'm just guessing if
it is then let me know ok so can you see
that it's like okay I think it looks
nice I like the color scheme imagery is
good it's using it's using flat 'some
isn't it that's my theme checking
plug-in up here let's um yep which is a
great theme for WooCommerce sites and
yeah it looks good okay are you late I'm
intrigued to see what's in the for the
home section okay that's a big bed thing
in a oblong pillow that's cool
probably need a few more products in
there if I'm honest
in the wounds own it's very easy to add
product so you want to fill out your
site get a few hundred you got some
clothing in here again probably need to
add some more products I'm guessing this
site it's still work-in-progress

more work to it and that's that's fine
but you make some great pros process
some great progress so what you need to
do next is fill out the site a bit more
with content so that's products and that
is articles it's going to be articles
that bring you the bulk of your traffic
and the bulk of the best traffic so
products and all that are very nice and
you will get rankings with those and you
will get traffic but if you really want
to take it to the next level
you're gonna want to add loads and loads
of nice interesting useful blog content
I guess that I've been the required
reading with it know these are some
books
oh yeah I see a link to the blog there
so your no posts yet but yeah that's
where you need to I think you're doing
great I think carry on so I think it's a
good niche niche if you're in America I
think it's a good idea and I think if
you do some good keyword research there
are videos on the channel around finding
keywords I mean let me just do some
searches and see what I can see here
though so like dresses for large ladies
look at this look at this this is the
sort of thing you want you want specific
long tail searches so this is a long
tail search it's long tail because it's
you can generate a long tail because
it's got lots of words in it January
short tail keywords are like you know
dresses or even you know dresses for
large women is probably still quite
short tail well talking about tails I'm
talking about a graph here which
don't have to hand make a final long
tail tail fuck it I can never type I can
type a keyword chart or graph and give a
graph alle here we go look here we go
here we go this is a perfect example
which I'm gonna borrow right now okay so
here's the graph we see this graph I
look at that pop up it's quite nice too
isn't it look at this it's got loads of
bullet points that's a good nice pop up
anyway I'm getting this straight all
they got the chat going on and
everything well I know I look at your
graph leave me alone leave me alone so
this is the tail this tail here is the
tail this blue bit here so the short
tail is up here and so if this is
talking about WordPress themes which is
a fine example so WordPress themes it's
the short tail middle tail bits in the
middle is with a few more words
WordPress themes for blogs and then the
long tail are the very specific keywords
at free responsive WordPress themes
suppose it is the long tail and this the
long tail is actually infinite pretty
much goes on off the sliders page and it
goes on for an infinite length because
there's so many long tail keywords and
so it literally is infinite now these
keywords like in this example WordPress
themes they get a lot of search volume a
lot of people type in WordPress themes
but there's a problem with that cuz you
might think okay well I want to go for
the keywords where there's lots people
searching down I'm surely that's where
all the traffic's at well no it's not
because the problem with that is is yes
there is lots of people searching at the
short end of the graph for WordPress
themes for example but the problem
you've got is first thing lots of
competition there's gonna be tons of
competition there could be people paying
for ads they're gonna be people doing
tons and tons of SEO and article writing
and link building and probably a whole
load of other dubious practices to make
sure that they are page one for these
short
terms I'm actually funny story I used to
rank pretty much number one on google
for the keyword WordPress themes and yet
it did bring me a lot of traffic and it
did bring me a lot of money I paid
someone to do some dodgy SEO this was
back in the day when you could do dodgy
SEO and it worked and yet was happy days
but believe me it's really really hard
to to rank for these short tail terms
the other problem with the short tail
terms is they don't convert particularly
well so someone who's typed in WordPress
themes they're not actually that sure
what they need they know they kind of
need a wordpress theme but they don't
know the sort of WordPress theme they
want what they want it for a blogger
whether they want a responsive one or
maybe you know they want set features so
they kind of in the research mode in the
buying cycle if they were to buy
something like a wordpress thing they're
not quite ready to buy yet so they don't
convert particularly well whereas when
someone is being very specific and
they're typing in like free responsive
WordPress themes for blogger though
that's not a great example it's got the
word free in it if they were doing
search for you know low cost responsive
WordPress themes for blog then there's a
good chance that if you have a low cost
responsive WordPress theme for a blog
they will buy it because they know what
they want and you've given them what
they want and you know they're ready to
buy so that's the longtail so back to
the dresses for the larger lady so this
is a longtail term dresses for larger
ladies for the weddings it's got a
volume of 110 so that's about right in
terms of you know volumes
now you could run this through the
keyword golden ratio which is Doug's
formula so that would be looking up how
many sites come up for this particular
term and you do that with all in title
like that it's 82 and then you use some
maths which i think is this 82 comes at
0.7 so that's probably not one that Doug
would go for though I'd go for it I
don't think there's anything to worry
about there it looks like a great idea
for an article but we can also see

that a lot of people are using the
wording plus-size so if you actually go
in from a different angle and use
dresses for larger ladies rather than
plus-size you may be at a rank where
these guys aren't just I thought but
also we could see that Google is
suggesting a whole load of other
articles for us to write I mean there's
there's like 10 articles there these are
the headlines right here we just got to
write them plus-sized wedding outfits
for mother of the bride plus-sized
occasion dresses for weddings plus-sized
wedding guest dresses for summer they're
really specific and you know would make
great articles does that make sense so
I've just given you there 10 ideas for
some articles you can go ahead and write
right away and good luck with your site
I think you've got a great niche and I
think you could do really well just keep
working don't give up it's gonna take
some time you need to add articles with
lots of articles maybe 20 maybe 30 maybe
40 then you're gonna have to wait a few
months maybe longer
but then stuff is gonna start happening
so keep going the sites looking good so
far so far so good

items on the site to redirect you yes of
course so you would write one of these
articles here plus-sized wedding outfits

just for example and to complement your
article you would obviously then look on
Amazon for dresses that are suitable if

you want to find some other merchants
that do have them and then you could
sign up as an affiliate with em to then
within your article you can either link
straight off to Amazon using the Amazon
site stripe or obviously straight off to
another store you know just one
Debenhams has come up here you could
sign up as an affiliate for them and
link to some of their dresses or you
import them to your site which I would
recommend that you do anyway important
to you select from Amazon and then you
can link to the products on your site
but there's two ways of doing it so it's
really actually I'm inclined nowadays
to link straight to Amazon mainly
because I'm of the mindset that I want
to get people to Amazon as quickly as I
possibly can because I want to get them
cooking then if they buy something then
you know we'll get some Commission but
it's entirely up to you maybe want to
play around with what works best for you
the advantage of linking to products is
you've building an internal link
structure which is good for SEO passing
link juice around the site and it could
increase the rankings of your products
but really is up to you there we go
that's the first one done there are some
questions I can see in the chat that's

know if that's one of terms come lightly
I'm running the keywords everywhere
extension which gives me some other
keyword ideas so you can reduce stuff
around
Ninjago and that kind of stuff that
could work but I think the site's got
some good potential I don't know I say
the niche I'm not sure about it could be
agony shit it might not be I don't know
and day somebody's just got to try I
mean you just got to go for it I think
it could work I mean there might be
people that just want Lego that comes in
a bag and you know you're bringing it
all together on place so you're adding
some value therefore it might work but
you keep up the good work the site looks
nice and you done really well to keep
Kingdom looking nice because sometimes
it can look a bit crazy if you let it
you just need some way you know way more
content and hopefully you better find
some content that the people are looking
for in terms of doing research and
creating content that makes sense ok the

with the plus-size site going on to

people are searching for and then

think this site is good it's not an
affiliate site obviously it's just an
e-commerce site it looks professional
imagery is nice probably needs more
content but yeah that's good and the

ones I mean I don't know if you're

your business is it your products or are
you drop shipping or what are you doing

can use a finder a place plug-in within
WordPress and go for and easily update

write sites because my last one was a
dog site and there's been a couple of
zombie ones which are my first ones
saying don't steal other people's niches
it's not good for you because you're
gonna be like late to the market as it
were you don't know if it's a good niche
and just do the research find your own
niche do something that you're into
you're interested in that you can create
content around and don't rip off someone
else's niche not gonna do you any favors
honestly it better researching finding
something unique someone hasn't done
before if you can or at least the market
where it's not very crowded and go for
that so just don't be a you-know-what
and he says is it is this why you should
change the title of your we don't
probably an important them or should
they remain the same but it makes sense
the way it's written you can't leave
them the same you might want to change
them so that you become unique that's
all there's a couple of videos on the
