hey what's going on it's Doug Huntington
here and it's very bright and it's very
hot it's something like 95 degrees I'm
degrees and it's very sunny it's very
warm and I thought hey why don't I go
outside and sweat and try and record
something so that's not why we're here
though I recently purchased a site from
human proof designs and I have traffic
on the site already I've already made I
think like three separate sales or at
least two separate sales and three
different products were sold some of
which are actually reviewed on the site
so that's what we're going to talk about
today and I got the site and within like
two three days got traffic got the sale
so these aged sites it's no joke
they work really well that's what we're
gonna talk about today it's so funny you
know I come out here actually I try to
to record outside and like 90 percent of
the time it's like too windy or you
can't see me or someone's like running a
leaf blower next to me or some kind of
nonsense but anyway I think this could
work and hopefully you can actually see
my face I'm messing with the colors here
all right let's just move forward here's
the deal I bought a human proof designs
Aged website and as soon as I installed
analytics I saw that there was already
traffic on the site which I suspected
there was traffic because of the number
of keywords that were ranking well for
the site a number of them were ranking
like in the top five in the top ten or
so so and I was pretty sure this I was
getting traffic so once I got the
analytics on there I saw traffic was
coming to the site which was cool now
that made me think hey maybe there's
going to be some sales that are
happening and sure enough I installed
the analytics on like Thursday or Friday
of last week and by Saturday on Saturday
sales were made and I will be you know
sharing a lot more information but that
in my opinion is like a huge relief
right because I have spent a lot of
money on the site to buy it I bought
more keywords from human proof designs
and I
ordering a lot more content at least 50
post to be published from content
development pros so I'm going to create
a spreadsheet and by the way if you want
to see the spreadsheet leave a comment
because I can keep track of all my
expenditures the money coming in money
going out all those details as time goes
so just leave a comment if you're
interested in seeing that kind of
information in that level of detail by
the way I have a page set up a niche
site project where I'm keeping basically
raw notes so I am working on this
actively like right now I'm not sure
when people will see this in the future
but I'm working on it right now in June
of 2019 and it's like actively going on
so and I'm very much in the early stages
that said I typically try to do a
project and then share the results and
share information but in this case I am
keeping like a raw notes page of like
what I'm doing and when and a little bit
more of like a live case study so if you
have questions and stuff you can leave

other videos in this series and I will
see them answer those questions and all
that stuff so let me actually check my
notes here I got the site I installed
analytics and I saw traffic now one
thing that's going on and I'm actually
going to be sending an email to the
human proof designs folks when I hopped
on to the dashboard in WordPress I
observed there were a lot of plugins
like more plugins than I expect to see
and I don't know which ones are required
I don't know which ones are optional one
or two things like sort of alarm to me
there was a plug-in for like custom CSS
and I was like you can put custom CSS
and like the WordPress customization
zone like why is there a plug-in for a
custom CSS that's redundant also if you
have a theme it's like a modern theme
and I believe the one that they're using
as a thrive theme and pretty sure you
can put custom CSS in there too
so I'm kind of wondering why that's in
there and if there is a redundant plugin
already that that alarms me because that
means there could be other resented
plugins which is bad we don't want
redundant stuff is literally redundant
so I'm gonna check with the team HPV and
see what's up see which ones I can get
rid of see which ones are gonna break if
I get rid of them so that I can address
them properly so those are a couple
