today is gonna be a quick update we're
talking about the age kite aged sight
case study slow down it's been a long
time since I've done a livestream so
I'll give you a little update on like
what I've been doing in some like sneak
preview of results that all all like
share in a little more thorough way not
in a livestream something that I could
be a little more deliberate about but in
this case I could share a few things
that I have going on hopefully the sound
is good I'm just gonna double check that
hopefully I am using the proper
microphone and it looks like you never
know you never really know but it looks
like it's doing the right thing here so
I'm back from vacation went on vacation
for a very long time
something like 25 days I checked my
email a few times I actually got like
one of those Chromebook laptop deals to
be able to work a little bit while I was
on the road but then I decided that I
didn't want to do it that much I just
wanted to make sure I had the ability in
case let's say a server exploded
somewhere I wanted to have the ability
to do something if I could
so anyway I've been gone for a while but
it's very cool because I actually got a
lot of work done while I was going but I
didn't do the work in the Aged site case
study I am outsourcing
almost everything at some point I'm
going to dig in actually read the site
but at this point I really haven't I
haven't read anything I've kind of
perused things I've turned off some
plugins that seem to be just redundant
or garbage or unneeded I've added some
plugins that I believe are helpful but
cool part is right now looks like this
month August is probably going to cross
the $100 mark
so that's very cool we're very close
we had a several days left in August so
that's good traffic is on the uptrend
and I'll just tell you some of the
things that I've been working on so well
we're a couple minutes in and I wanted
to tell the people that are watching the

hopefully I had an app where you can see
the wrong notes so there's no just long
narrative commentary it's kind of bullet
points couple sentences here and there
and a few pages or sorry a few
screenshots of earnings so I'm just
gonna share a couple things I see we
have Duke on what is going on I mean we
have lioness there haven't seen you in a
while and all Wayne the usual crew we
have seein as well it's good they got
the HD so you can see my my old and
aging skin here so and all these
freckles
those don't go away they just just keep
on going they get darker now this
light is just okay let's try
again okay little results so the big
thing I just want to see I don't have a
way to show you this very well but I
could sort of tell you what's going on
so I got the site in June in a more
thorough update I will share with you
like the exact date that I like
purchased it and sent over the money
I'll share all the expenses too so if
you're particularly interested in the
expenses please leave a comment on that
and just say like hey we want to see all
the expenses alright so I got the site
early June it was in my possession
like maybe midway through or so took a
little time to make that happen I
immediately liked that weekend was
making sales so I'm looking at the
analytics which you can't see here but
I'll try to describe a picture with
words which is somewhat difficult but I
can tell you that the first reported
week that we have here there were 178
users by the next week
it was 436 now it dropped a little the
following week to 372 and it remained in
that range for a bit around mid-july
I hired content development pros to
write a whole lot of content they
started publishing things and traffic
went up so on a weekly basis we're
looking out like the mid 400s and that's
sort of where we're at right now mid
400s per week so on a monthly basis of
which we only have about honestly about
two months but it it's across three
different calendar months
it looks like word about 2,000 visitors
per month or so and it's growing all
right so it's growing because I
published 50kg our posts
and you know number one you know I hired
human proof designs to go ahead and give
me a bunch of keywords so I believe
they're packs of 25 I don't remember the
price but you can't save 5% if you use
my coupon code
I appreciate that if you do and
basically got 50 keywords from them so I
prioritize those there'll be a video in
the future where I talk about how I
prioritize those I think I maybe had a
few extras I'm not sure how a normal
package comes through I'm pretty sure
I'm just treated as a normal customer
over there it's pretty important that I
don't get special treatment so I'm
pretty sure I just go through the normal
flow and I got a few extra keywords I
threw out some that I didn't think we're
so great you know no fault of the folks
providing the keywords and I selected
those get him over to content
development pros which you know that's a
Content company and they have a huge
team they have project managers they
upload it to your site and they have
unlimited revisions I have had some
issues with them I'm going to be talking
with my Account Manager soon
everything's delivered at this point
closed it out Monday afternoon but there
were some hiccups along the way things
that I'll be able to share with you so
hopefully either it goes smoothly or you
know you could figure out a solution of
your own based on like the issues that I
have

so traffic is up in a lot of it has to
do with publishing more kinda kgr
content that is helpful so that is one
aspect we're gonna couple or should I
mention at the beginning we're going to
talk about the content which we're doing
right now there's another aspect that
I'll mention in a second and then
there's a whole other side of it the
off-site yeah again this is gonna be a
fast video or at least I'm going to talk
fast got some meetings later I need to
get some coffee yeah just do my day so I
published a lot of content 50 posts it
is arbitrary for the most part you could
do 30 you know can do 90 could do 120 it
doesn't have to be you know divisible by
30 you could do any increment you want
you can do 77 88 whatever it doesn't
really matter I picked 50 because it
happened to correspond with the number
of keywords that I was going to get from
human proof designs and it's a nice
round number so that's how I ended up
with 50 articles part two of the content
aspect is improving existing content now
I also work with a company called
content refined I'm affiliates for every
one that I'm mentioning alright so I get
a commission blah blah blah
cool thing is this Friday I've worked
out a deal with content refined for a
pretty big discount I think actually I
won't mention the discount because I I
was chatting with Maddie this morning
and I just want to make sure she didn't
send over it's too big of a discount I
think but anyway look out for that if
you're not on the email list sign up for
the email list it'll be a short period
of time about 48 hours where you're
going to be able to get a big discount
with content refined so I hired content
refined again as a paid customer I'm
paying for all the services that I'm
using so content refined I had Maddie
and her team look at the site identify
five different posts that potentially
would benefit from having
deep content analysis using market Muse
which is a it's a Content analysis tool
a marketing analysis tool so they went
in I gave them login credentials Maddie
and her team made the improvements went
on WordPress uploaded them did some
stuff this has just been delivered I
have zero results from it however I can
tell you that the the results on my
initial case study with content refined
turned out fantastic so year-over-year
like 20 18 versus 20 19 or vice versa
the traffic is up a significant amount
for my initial case study with content
refined using 10 different posts so I
did this back in early April and it was
you know pretty beneficial in the short
term traffic is up you know 13 percent
over the course of four weeks over the
previous four weeks and then when it's
year-over-year it was up like twenty
percent now except something like 60
Plus percent so like it really it really
improved so I need to mute just for a
second
alright I'm back and I'm just talking to
Georgie here briefly so I added a bunch
of content I also hired content refined
to improve 5 posts so results are still
out there but or yet to be seen but I
imagine it will be beneficial and I can
tell you that the last time that I
promoted content refine many many people
signed up for it so results are yet to
be seen for those or at least I haven't
heard back
some people said hey you know it was a
little confusing getting the the content
changes which I actually talked to
Maddie and I told her I suggested and a
new route based on that feedback
I told Maddie that they should probably
like get a word doc or whatever however
they want to get the original content
track changes you know using the
revision history and then send it back
to the customer that way it's super easy
to see the changes right it's built
right into Word or basically any word
processing software will do that so
basically you know Maddie's taking the
feedback content refining is taking the
feedback from customers and you know
luckily I could just talk directly to
her and they're gonna be doing that
moving forward okay so that was content
to pieces they're probably significant
level of credit can be given to the
content the other part that I have been
working on is links so I hired two
companies one the Hoth who I used to
work with like way back in the day for
web 2.0 is when I did grey hat stuff I
don't do that now I don't recommend it
now it just in a general sense but I
know that the Hoth has up through game
as far as guest posts a lot of people
emailed me when I started talking about
the Hoth and it's hey you know what I
heard it wasn't so good isn't it just PB
ends fill in the blank
then I talked to Clayton
started looking at some of the product
offerings and then I tested it out a few
times before I even started this case
study then I was happy with the results
that I saw the big thing that the Hoth
has changed is instead of looking at the
metrics like the DEA to give you links
they look at the organic traffic alright
so you can go an independent tool
SEMRush for example age rafts whatever
some other tool if you see that the site
is getting organic traffic you know that
Google at least kind of likes them a
little bit so that is like the default
like the easiest way to see like hey is
this link a decent link is the site
getting traffic if they are then Google
likes them a little bit so that's great
so that you can select the criteria you
want like if you still buy into the
domain Authority fine you could you
could pick that criteria or you can use
the organic search criteria that's what
I used and I don't remember what it
picked exactly I think I got a blend get
a few links out there and then the other
company that I hired is called log annex
so you may have heard me mispronounce it
as logan x but it's actually Logue annex
which makes more sense but i just read
it so i didn't know you know what i
didn't know how to say it but the cool
thing in a few weeks I'll be publishing
an interview with the founder of log
annex Adam Steele so I interviewed him
yesterday super nice guy out of the N
Coover wait a nice conversation talk to
SEO and they do a similar thing with
their guest post and they actually have
like different services related to guest
posting so you can pick what is right
for you
I went with sort of the premium level
because we're not messing around here so
when we would the premium level and got
three guest posts from them different
traffic levels I think
there are three different ranges which
you could choose from so I checked I
chose one from each of those ranges and
the very cool part with Logue annex is
they you know take they in take your
site information and where you're trying
to like get links to and then they send
you a few options and they let you
approve the site or choose the site that
your guest post will be posted on that's
amazing
it's a lot of overhead it forces you to
make a decision but at that point
basically you can't complain you're
getting to choose between like some
pretty good options now me personally I
took a look at their options I think
they give you you know I picked three or
I had three guest posts I think they
gave me a primary choice that they would
recommend and then another one just in
case I can't remember if they gave two
or three but in the upcoming video that
is more thorough I'll show the emails
I'll show you like what's going on and
how many options you get but you pick if
you like one of the other sites because
it's more relevant or you have some
insight you could pick just hey yeah
when I went this one not that one so
that those are the two like big things
with link building I've also had my VA
over it okay relax doing guest posts or
not cast doing a blog commenting so he
or she has been doing blog commenting
about four times a week for one task
session a task is something that takes
about it's a thirty minute block of time
so it's not like some other definition
they have to define it somehow it's a
thirty minute block of time my
particular VA seems to be able to do
somewhere between like five four and
eight roughly comments per task now not
all of those are gonna go live they have
to be approved and all that kind of
stuff but you know those are those are
coming just slowly over time and one of
the you know upcoming videos I'll be
sharing
the guys like the traffic graphs from
Google Analytics probably some data from
age rafts potentially from SEMRush I'll
also be sharing the important part which
is a revenue so if you do want to see
some of the revenue screenshots I did
post one on the link in the description
so I have no way of showing it right now
so if you wouldn't see it go to the link
in the description it's pretty good it's
from I think this 15th their 16th or
something like that just a couple days
old but we're in pretty good shape and
you know effectively we've shortened the
sandbox here we've shortened or removed
the sandbox like I said as soon as I got
the site in my possession there was
traffic sales were made the like
basically the day after I put in my
tracking code and then after that it's
been slowly climbing if you if you have
a budget and you're like hey I'm going
to take action I think this is a viable
route it seems to be a fantastic option
people are very interested in doing like
this sort of thing where they want
outsource most stuff and if you didn't
see video number 4 in this series from
find that I should have put a link to it
but find it I was gone I was like
generally off the grid I was in a
national park for a decent chunk of the
time I was gone 50 posts were published
I got a few guest post out there on some
pretty amazing sites and blog comments
were happening all these things were
happening and I just hired a few
companies like I think like for
companies total and they were like 1 to
2 companies doing something while I was
on vacation so it sort of simulates like
get a full-time job
got a family you're busy they have a lot
of hobbies whatever but you have more
money than time this is a great route to
take so have a link in the
have a link have a look at the link in
the description and hopefully you'll be
able to take advantage of the content
refined sale it'll be coming up this

like I said I don't even want to mention
now when a double check with Maddie to
make sure she didn't you know hit the
wrong number for the discount or

average kgr word counts I think you mean
for the post and that'll be about 1200
words arthur chicago design says when
site has one year how long it takes new
article to get traffic so it could be
immediate there's a lot of factors out
there if it is a keyword golden ratio
kind of term there's a strong chance it
can get traffic within a week or two it
may not rank very high but it'll pull in
long tail traffic that friends is one of
the reasons why the kgr works it's
pulling in long tail traffic that no
one's really paying attention to there
so like obscure that people won't be
targeting them best massage what's the
turnaround on that process I don't know
with what your reference is there so let
