power of batching your work now before
my wife and I headed out to Bali we had
three deliverables for our membership
that we were required to get done so
what we did is we batch this work and we
made sure and got those very very vital
to our business recordings done before
we left this allowed us a little bit
more freedom of kind of exploration and
freedom of knowing that the actual
deliverables that our memberships based
on right that our members are paying for
that was taken care of now as you see I
got a friend my mate Ben behind me
jumping in the pool we're here at a
beach club for a day and just really
enjoying where we're at and the goal is
for us to a get our job done make sure
our members are taken care of and B we
need to make sure that we're able to
enjoy where we're at from time to time
so if you're having difficulties finding
that rhythm like I talked about or
juggling all of the different things
that you're working on try batching your
work so if you're doing videos and you
edit your videos try recording three
videos in one day and then either that
night or the next day go into edit mode
and then edit all of those videos in one
day and what you do is you'll find you
can catch a groove with the video
recording process and you can get those
videos done quickly and then when you
get in the editing you can get the
editing groove going and you can kind of
get a little bit faster at the process
of editing
if you're writing maybe it's writing out
several rough drafts quickly that is
easy for you to get that done and then a
certain day you have copy edit day and a
certain day you have that final
publishing day so figure out how that
plays into your business but test out
the process of really batching out your
work because what it allows you to do is
get more done with less time do you
think about Henry Ford and the Model A
and how what really changed when he
built the Model A Car it was the fact
that he created a process and a factory
line and each individual on that factor
factory line did one thing over and over
and the car moved from one station to
the next and there was a guy who put
together the engine and there were the
people who put the engine in the car and
there was people who put the drivetrain
in the car and they found by letting
these individuals do one thing over and
over and over
they became hyper efficient so you
batching your work is an attempt to
become more efficient at each of the
individual tasks thus allowing you to
get all of the tasks done more quickly
it's different for everyone and
sometimes people batch certain tasks
certain times of the day sometimes
people dedicate entire days or entire
weeks to certain tasks and other days to
other tasks it takes testing there's no
one way to do it correctly it's up to
you to find what works best for you but
if you're having trouble getting in the
groove test out batching your work
you're doing a 90 day video try
recording two or three videos in a
single day it'll give you a little
buffer it'll give you a little kind of
wiggle room in case you miss it I have
no choice but to get a video out today
so this is the topic and Here I am in
public not my favorite location to
record from but it's it's got to get
done so I'm doing it and when I move
forward my goal is to batch enough
videos at my next place before my
abundant circle event so I don't have to
stop at the abundant circle event
contributing to the mastermind in order
to make my video I'll have those all
done before and that's what I'm gonna
focus on starting tomorrow is batching
my work and I figured I would share that
tip with you to help you start matching
your work so you can make more progress
