because that's a that's a huge huge importance in growing your channel and
also in the offering of
Affiliate products as well because the more eyeballs you have on a particular video that might have a link to it
to an affiliate offer the more
Opt-ins you're gonna get and the more sales you're gonna get so that's how important YouTube and ranking is for your videos
now YouTube can be your best friend and
It can also feel like sometimes it could be your worst enemy because YouTube has an algorithm it also
You can it also is one of the best promoters of your videos as well
I mean you can get YouTube to actually promote your videos
If you do the right things this is something that I came across today
This is something I actually just learned today. Now. I don't have a huge following I have 1,300 subscribers
Okay, which I've worked hard to grow my channel, but I follow larger youtubers that have created
income with their YouTube with Adsense and with their large following
And it's just ironic that I came across

It's just it's ironic that I came across the two of the major guys that I follow
that had the same message today about
Ranking on YouTube and it kind of took me back so I'm gonna go over that with you

This guy knows what he's doing
He got D monetized and he got to monetize because an affiliate link and I'm gonna Philly a marketer
So I want to share this information to all the affiliate marketers out there who are promoting their products via the YouTube platform

He's he got monetized again, but it was a scary situation and in you know, it was an interesting video

There's one thing to understand that YouTube's goal is to keep viewers on the YouTube platform
Okay, that's their goal
Okay, and if you have a video that is monetized and you're a partner with YouTube well
but because the more the more people stay on the YouTube platform the more ad money that their ad revenue
That they're gonna receive and of course, we're partners. So we're gonna split that ad revenue
So we as affiliate marketers

They're gonna watch the video. They're gonna make sure that they're gonna figure out how to
Start ranking that video
Now if I have a link in my description that takes somebody away from the YouTube platform
You YouTube's gonna see that and they're not going to be really excited about helping me rank my video. Does that make sense
because
my interest in my affiliate marketing business
Conflict with their interest of keeping people on their platform. There's a conflict there and
that and since they control this
why would I continue doing that because
my
Ultimate goal is to get YouTube to rank my video as high as possible on that
You know as on the first page of the YouTube search if possible
If I can get them to do that, I'm gonna get more views on my channel
Which in turn I'm gonna get more opt-ins on my offer which leads to more sales to my affiliate product
It also is gonna help me grow my channel
because more views means more subscribers and that's gonna help me grow my channel and and rank even higher for
That for for that as well
So what I'm gonna start doing and I've been doing this forever because that's what I was taught to do
That's what I learned to do was put my affiliate links in here instead of putting your affiliate link in the description
Start putting it in your comments and then make put them fill it link in your comment
and in fact in this video

instead of putting any links in the description put links to more YouTube videos

That's exactly what happened watch his video and he'll explain that to you
YouTube is changing and we need to change with them
We need to adjust to whatever system they're putting in place so that we don't get any monetize
The other thing is going to help us like I said is gonna allow us

Help YouTube rank our videos promote our videos for free if we do
Everything that they're looking for us to do and then remember the number one goal is to keep that viewer on the YouTube platform
So a link an affiliate link in the description is inviting that viewer to go away from the YouTube platform
so YouTube knows that they're gonna see that and they're not going to rank our videos very high because of that you could have the
mode best tags in the world the best titles in the world
Even the best content in the world and YouTube has control of exactly how your videos gonna be ranked
okay, but
Take that description link away
Put it in the comment section and then put links to other YouTube videos
To help keep people on the YouTube platform and also help promote your other videos
because if they click on one of those links, then they'll go to another one of your videos and
Help you grow your channel and help you grow your views and those type of things. I hope this videos make sense
