alright guys welcome back and as
promised I'm going to start doing Q&A
videos the actual every done one and
there was one before this actually one
before this one was how to make money
online with $100 that was actually a
question someone had for me so did that
video but what I'm going to do is scroll
through my youtube comment to roar right
now I haven't seen a lot of them because
I get a lot of spam and I'll read them
up and we'll go over some questions and
hopefully this can help some of you guys
out notice I do see two do see the same
question quite a lot and stuff like that
oh no not everybody's going to see this
but I just hopefully this will kind of
give you a bit of understanding and help
your some your guys questions right so
I'm just chilling at home here I was not
driving today it's pretty late and I
forgot that I was close to bringing it
out once a week right at the start of

correct and once I find that keep
scaling the day budgets of Facebook
optimizing it better for me just to wrap
my head around it because of other
videos and articles that was on one of
my Facebook videos so you're essentially
with any type of business you have to
spend money right to make money so with
Facebook and stuff if whether you're
promoting an affiliate price where
they're promoting a membership course
whether you're doing the local lead
generation with you're doing Shopify you
have to spend money lose well I say
spend the money but he's saying lose
money so you have to lose money first to
kind of gauge what's going on what's may
happen that's the testing phase so
you're testing with the Shopify for
example you're taking multiple products
and you're going to lose money at the
start because not all of those products
are going to be winners
and even some that become winners
sometimes take a while if you remember
from Miami
testing one they can take a while to get
like sometimes Facebook get your sale
you'll get a sale or one or two sales
but sometimes it can take you a while to
get a nice consistent amount of sales so
you either negative cash flow or your
even and yes so to answer that question
for you
yes in most cases with any type of
business online or offline you have to
usually spend some type of money or lose
money before you make money like for
example offline businesses they have
insurance they have rent you know if you
have a brick and mortar store your rent
you have insurance you've lost money
before you've even started doing
business so the straight-line answer to
that is yes you should be losing money
when you're starting out on Facebook
because you should be testing and you're
going to fail at the start most of the
time and you're going to have a lot of
our products that are going to fail
before you find a winner
all right so the next question is that
this thing um some of you guys asked for
visiting videos I start up on the other
day probably will start getting into
that so this video in particular isn't
going to be just about Shopify stuff um
so this person asked would love to know
more about investing and value investing
dealing with some stocks of Forex of so
how did you get started so I don't and
this than any of that stuff right I
don't miss the stocks I have purchased
into startup companies so basically
before a company goes into a public
offering I like to do that instead of
actually doing stocks because the reason
asking this question is because actually
it is how much time the Dave you spend
on it I don't spend any time on it but I
do know people that do and if you're
going to be trading stocks especially
day trading you have to do a lot of
research yes actually know what you're
doing stocks are very volatile and you
either um you put you bid on that you do
this you do short stop selling like
Timothy Sykes does or you do stocks as
they go up or down like this heater
different strategies to stock market
trading now I have done it in the past
yes don't do much now but I do a lot of

back into Bitcoin a while ago I went to
Bitcoin as well or so red coin I've done
some testing and net just sold a bunch
of red coin actually there's a huge pump
and dump on that if you don't know what
pump and dump is basically they pump it
up and then dump all their coins so yeah

briefly is because if you're doing in
two stops and stuff be prepared to
actually have to do a bit of research
and have to like watch it consistently
it stocks are not something that you
like I do stocks when I buy into
companies that haven't gone public yet
it's a little bit different because I
don't have a lot day trading I can just
I just invest my money and what happens
is every year I get a dividend back so I
give it I get a percentage of the equity
that I have a net company so it's a
little bit different than stock trading
& forex and stuff like that so yeah if
that I hope that answers your question

somewhere like everyone's spamming with
that stuff oh yeah basically how much
time you need a lot of time if you want
to get into stocks no it's not like
anyone says it's quick and easy money
it's not really the case all right
here's another question
I'm not Shopify related we'll get back
into that sort of stuff how many with
2.0 s do you buy and do you buy it both
with Twitter Chronos and P begins at the
same time if you knew my channel you
don't offices I'm doing about
backlinking SEO search engine
optimization and some videos on that so
what I do first was my site stopped by
with 2.0 s first I buy a 10 package off
my guy okay so like 10 with 2.0 first
and what I do is I'll start doing like
natural anchor text brand and context
and then over time I'll actually upload
my own articles so there's web 2.0 to
make them stronger because when I get
and get them that they only have a
couple of articles but I build them out
a bit more once I've done the PBR the
web 2.0 I let them a little slice it for
a few more weeks and then I do the TV
ends the when you're doing affiliate
marketing and stuff or any type of SEO
on site there's a process so when your
site starts it's very fresh it's not a
good idea of start throwing hints of
link set
okay it's it's a good idea to build that

just let it sit there and kind of do its
thing then after a month I would usually
start building links to it then maybe
after a few more weeks I start building
TV ends to it it's always a bad idea if
you build all of your links at once
because it's kind of like spamming and
Google doesn't like that right so I'm

I buy I start off with ten sorry with
2.0 I start off with ten then the heavy
ends I usually buy ten of those as well
now see how I go and then I wait a few
more weeks then I'll do some more and
I'll do some more on do some more that's
how it goes it's on a fast game it's
very slow now actually because Google's
changed a few things but yeah that's how
I do mine for that for that question
okay the next question is actually a
good one um because I just started doing
a lot of this myself so Dublin says

using Facebook Ads to go to blogs for
promoting products I used to write blogs
for Amazon affiliate sites reviewing
bytes but I never did paid ads with it
do you find sending people to a blog
from an ad is more effective for sales
indirect straight up image or video ad
okay so um I don't recommend advertising
straight to blogs on Facebook or any
paper effort because it's cold traffic
usually and it's expensive but what I
recommend doing what I've been doing a
lot lately especially on a couple of my
affiliate sites actually as you want to
have a pixel on your site and retarget
back to them for two reasons number one
it's cheap okay you can't your cost is
going to be half easy half no doubt
about it and second if they've already
gone to your page with the product on it
and they've left and do retarget them
they're likely quite warm now so what
that means if they go back they're more
likely to make a purchase I've been
doing a lot of testing with this lately
as in working out really really well for
me especially a couple of Clickbank
products that I've been promoting as
well over the last six months I actually
didn't really click I actually watch the
video miles Beckler
and it was his his wife was doing a lot
of retargeting back to her blog from
organic traffic comes in and she
retaliates back to them makes sense
right but I didn't really think of that
I've just in videos other things I've
been doing with my online bonus blog for
a long time but it actually thought to
do it with my affiliate blogs and so it
works quite well
so my answer to that would be if you are
planning to do PPE I'm sorry
the here--it of this stuff here so I
decide to get rid of them on the screen
because I'm she saves people's names so
um yeah what I would do is not do direct
coal traffic to your blog post um you
can but it's going to be expensive and
it's just cold traffic you pretty much
throwing money away if you're already
getting a nice trickle of organic
traffic from somewhere else it's best to
retarget them that's what I've found
with a lot of my stuff so that's what I
would do but just test because when
you're sending people straight to a blog
post from Facebook it's very hard to
convert them into something because
you're not sending them throught a
funnel or anything you're just sending
into a page with a product the media
review and stuff but you I don't know
test it out maybe it'll work
but remember that Amazon affiliate you
know if I'm not to do an Amazon
affiliate but the Commission's are
pretty low so you're going to have to
make sure you get something back
obviously for your advert so it's not
going to make any money so I got kind of
height to Graham's Andre at 40 50 bucks
Commission cursing of Clickbank so yeah

10 review article to your Shopify blog
if you don't know what I mean that's
from the SEO video I did my last video
yes you post that to your blog you link
up to the products and you send links to
that blog post and they rank or if you
want you can do it on another site but
just make sense to do it on the Shopify
blog and someone said always asking
about your writing skills es I'm
shocking at writing when I was 19 years
old I crashed a motorbike into a
lamppost and actually smashed my hand I
did it all can't get
a knuckle put in and I had to learn to
write from scratch or 19 years old so my
writing is shocking okay here's one that
I love you guys might be able to relate
to that is I just bring the laptop over
here it's a bit easier um one question
on budget to manual bidding when running
an exit or manual bidding do you still
scale the budget small or slow or have
you found that but then your bidding and
sets you can jump the budget faster and
higher
okay so I'll mingle being having them up
too much lately at least you quite a lot
I always thought the message budget
anyway and I have found that with manual
bidding you have a lot for some reason
that probably makes sense I guess you
can usually do bigger jumps in your
budget I've found that that works best
for me I'm automatically billion I have
trouble when I do massive jumps and
budgets but I start like when I do
anything I'm starting at $1,000 a day
type stuff like it's I'm not starting
small if you start small with me like
let's just say if you do of daily budget
of $20 and you tell Facebook you want to
get a conversion at 3 $4 Facebook finds
it hard to give you their reach so I
always start off like $500,000 budgets
anyway and then I haven't done many
bidding for a while but it uses
duplicated to forget ads that are bigger
budgets or you just increase like at
stupid rates and I never really had any
problems apart from a few problems but
yes to answer that question um but I
don't I don't scale the budgets smaller
when you're bidding because I start off
for the big budget anyway because the
thing is with manual bidding you're you
have more control Facebook isn't going
to spend your money unless you you know
because you're going to tell the macao
on a maximum bid of $5 per conversion or
10 $20 or I want an average but you're
in more control so you can start off
with thousand two thousand dollar days
because if Facebook doesn't find you a
conversion the price you want it's not
going to spend the money so you have
more control it's a like Facebook
going to just go and spend all of that
money for you and waste all your money
because you're telling it what to do so
you can jump in with huge budgets you
clearly budgets it doesn't really matter
and then you know usually with Mendel
bidding you'll start low and bit up or
you'll start hiring them down I usually
start low and bit up and then even then
some days sometimes it's a little bit
consistent and sometimes it's consistent
they don't go up just a little bit more
until I get the consistent amount of
conversions for my budget by usually I
am I go to higher budget anyway I don't
miss with small budgets when it comes to
me or billing it's what it's a bit of a
waste of time
I was looking like team $23 daily
budgets you want to be doing at least
like at least a hundred plus because you
know yeah it's hard to to kind of go
over that without going into detail with
mean you're bidding but um I just
watched a video the other day actually
and I wrote down some notes charges get
the notes right so I'm actually going to
sleep at the video illness but Facebook
sit in the video
you give it constraints when you give
them a lot of budgets and especially a
manual bidding you give them constraints
and then when there's constraint and it
lines up exactly with what I said about
low budget so like when you give
Facebook a low budget for example at
five ten dollars a day it can put space
book in a constraint they don't they
can't get you they can't get the reach
and stuff that they really want to get
you so yeah that was just something kind
of a video an auction on Facebook with
the other day see when it comes down to
it menu opening is a complete different
ballgame and I do higher budgets when I
do my bidding

question if I'm understanding what
you're saying your video correctly this
is about the that's my first Q&A you are
saying to choose if you choose to begin
a campaign with website

to first use the Advocate option until
you're giving 15 to 25 sounds a week for
several weeks and to change it to a
purchase option okay guys the squishing
is asked a lot and like there's no set
way this is what Facebook has told us in
the video that I watched the other day I
send these notes as well I always I
looks a lot of webinars Facebook has
like 3040 live in hours listed on their
site now let me just find it yeah so
Facebook I said use the best alternative
conversion closest to the best one so if
you're getting a bunch of initiate
checkouts right that's a conversion but
you're not getting enough purchases
they're basically saying and sit on
initiate kick out okay or if you're
getting a not enough initiate check ups
and on math notices begin a ton of
Advocates then go to advocate okay you
don't have to change to purchase either
something like I've run plenty of ad
sets on initiate checkout for a payment
info Add to Cart and I've had very
successful campaigns people need to kind
of like stop focusing on the purpose all
the time because what a lot of guys are
doing now is this that they're getting
them to the 1525 per week and they're
changing straightaway to purchase and
it's just messing up their exit because
you basically what you've done is you've
told Facebook okay get me all these Add
to Cart and then Facebook's probably
just trying to optimize it start an
optimizer then you change it okay
and you're basically reset if then
Facebook now needs to adjust okay so um
then to really answer that question like
it's hard because people just want to
follow what everyone else does but my
advice is to not do that like basically
take away what Facebook said use the
best alternative conversion okay so if
you're not getting let's say you're not
getting the 15 twist by plus purchases
per week but you can get 15 to 25 plus
initiate checkouts per week use that as
a convert
or saying with add-to-cart if you can
get 1520 advocates clearly but you can't
get enough sales then like for example
right okay here's something the
membership Fitness membership under to
my friend one of our exits only gets
about twelve purchases a week but it's a
high ticket item so it doesn't matter
okay we don't we're not we're not there
to scale it up massively because it's a
high ticket item we get good money from
those amount of purchases and we have
that sitting on abdicated and optimizes
beautifully absolutely amazing and we
don't want to scale that one up in
particular because it's making us a good
income because high ticket right we
don't need to scale it up and then now
we're going to scaling up by looking at
other interests but we're not scaling up
that particular exit because it's
working fine for us
so the pins on your prices if your
products and all sorts of stuff goes
like you know if you've got a product
that you make you know as long as
Facebook clauses going around our people
are making a thousand dollars per
purchase you're not going to have that
on purchase value because you know most
of the time of that you're not going to
get fifteen plus a week are you you're
probably going to be sittin on add to
cut so I hope that makes sense you've
got to look at the high-ticket items
versity low ticket items as well when
you're doing that type of stuff I know
for the fitness thing we're doing we it
is a high ticket item and we don't need
to go 15 20 plus curates it because we
make enough money without doing that so
we obviously we go something a better
alternative which is etiquette right so
yeah I hope that kind of answers your
question is to not get stuck on purchase
so much just go to the best alternative
the next alternative to to your purchase
or whatever you're trying to do alright
here's another one for SEO okay I get
like this is a crazy question everyday
but I don't mind answering it how many
links shall I use in backlinking guys is
no answer there's no answer okay it
depends on your niche depends on your
site like that's it I'm going to leave
that question there because it's so easy
there's no answer how many links should
you use I don't I don't know so you just
keep building good quality links until
your website starts to rank
and even if you've built too many it
just makes your site stronger anyway so
yeah time for that question guys
there's no number you can just do
whatever you want
you know trigger a rule of thumb the
easy of the niche obviously the list
links you have to use and harder than
ish the more links you gotta use to disk
off that alright guys here's one I
really want to answer for a long time

um that this is a different context but
if I accidentally shot off my ad there's
a bit of difficulty instead of new ones
we'll just simply turn it on again right
a lot of these experts say nearly ever
ever arm pause an ad
I've had one running since December last
year I pause it for three months okay
and I just started it again Oh long ago
then I paused it again for a month
because I was working on some stuff and
the ad is run fine the answer it's run
fine every time a positive brought it
back
pausing your ad sets don't do anything
bad to your exits okay now some cases
some people going to say yeah it does
have got the proof and stuff okay right
that's okay but for me I've poured of
course as hits all the time and never
get any problems never any problems so
to that question like you could
duplicate it and start a new one but
just let the other one run as well see
which one performs better but you know
don't get scared to pause and answer and
internal campaign I should say and then
turn it back on I do it all the time
then had any problems whatsoever but the
thing is is what people don't understand
what Facebook again once again I'll get

the other day is um you're on a bit

go up and down you can have good days

you're bidding against you've been
against other people so just remember
that whatever you do to your ad sets
just let them adjust and they're you're
going to come back to where they were I
think I'm going to keep one patient and
they pause and then start again and they
say never ever pause the stay your
headset because they haven't waited long
enough and that hasn't give enough time
to kind of come back into the game and
readjust so I kind of hope that explains
it to you I mean there's no they have a
pause function for a reason that's what
when you pause it your ad just stops
when you unpause it it just starts again
there's nothing that happens like
everything is still there you've just
turned it off and on Facebook isn't
going to be like oh well we don't we're
going to disadvantage you now something
that's not how they work all you're
doing is turning it off off and on
there's no no drummer there some guys
that I'm not interested in this business
