is really good news because chrome the

browser which is the browser that most

people actually use I think is he what

this month or it's certainly next month

they're going to start putting a message

up when people visit a site that doesn't

have SSL so basically an unsecured site

you might say so if you're running any

sort of site that's gonna be a bad thing

because that's going to put your

visitors off and it could possibly

affect your search engine rankings so

it's a great thing so I'm going to show

you in a few moments I'm going to jump

onto Bao wild Tech which as you probably

know if you've seen my recent videos or

if you saw last week's live stream is my

latest Amazon affiliate site it's on

Hostgator so it's a great example and

it's yeah I'm gonna set it SSL um that's

gonna be fun I guess the other thing I

might share with you tonight if we have

time is I've been playing around with a

new plug-in is it's actually a bit more

than a plug in it so it was kind of a

fully featured service

it's called optinmonster and yeah I

wanted to kind of say I'm only just been

playing around with it a bit I've been

doing some work on it for a client and

it's pretty cool pretty cool if you want

to collect email addresses or anything

really where you want like a pop-up or

slide in or any of that stuff it's

really good

so yeah if we get a chance I will give

you a quick overview of that I'm gonna

do a full video on it soon once I've got

my head around a bit more and kind of

worked out all the features and all that

kind of stuff so an off course keep your

questions coming in and I'll do my best

to answer as many as I possibly can

basically just gives you that nice

little green padlock in your browser

when someone visits your website so site

loads up over HTTP you get a nice little

green padlock everyone feels nice and

safe and secure and it means that then

any information that's transmitted

between the visitor and your website is

encrypted so that no one else can read

it so it's good if you've got forms or

anything like that where people have to

type stuff in it means that all that

information is transmitted securely

across the Internet

Google penalty possibly a few kind of

anecdotal stories I've heard about that

is yes the more affiliate links you have

on any particular page or post on

necessarily have to be the home page is

gonna have an effect on your rankings on

Google Google are not keen on a feelings

they don't like too many of them so if

you are going to an affiliate links make

sure they're not like the first thing on

the page put them down the page make

sure there's not too many of them

sometimes it's better to link to other

things on your site rather than have

lots of fittings on one page

happens but maybe it's not gonna okay

percent green so what I'm gonna do I'm

gonna install a plug-in it's a plugin

that I've used before it's called really

simple SSL and it's about one of my

favorite SSL plugins

so logging in I need to make this a

little bit so you can see everything

that's better

so basically our plugins add new we

should get some music going while you

so in plugins then I'm going to a search

for really simple SSL it's this one here

once your methods target high search

volume keywords I don't really have a

method as such it's you know doing a lot

of niche stuff we've dug in the cage

yeah but I've done my head you know it's

it is about creating a fantastic piece

of content you know if you're gonna go

for something with five search volumes

and possibly high competition the

content is gonna need to be really good

then once you've got that good content

it's kind of the same old stuff you know

you need to build some links you need to

you know attract people to it by sharing

see what is that commenting on I just

folder and you can find the plug-in in

there and you can just delete it right

shoulder scene you might better see

stuff anyway let me just do this to

prevent you from seeing anything

to need to update your analytic settings

settings switch that to HTTP and then

finally what you want to check is your

webmaster console so again I think I'm

just gonna need to switch to something

else to stop you seeing any any possible

confidential information which I don't

think there is but you never know so let

competition analysis

I haven't generally if you're just

running the Keijo that's all you need to

do no need to go against page Authority

however of course if you look at the

Articles that are already up there and

you know they are on what looks like an

authority site that is gonna make it a

bit more difficult to to outrank them

but the thing with kgr is it's trying to

identify search results that don't have

many results that exactly match the

keywords so even if there are some

authority sites on there you should be

at least proud to join them maybe

slightly below them

and of course if you are ranking below

another site then it's all down to the

Meta Description that you write on your

mean that is a great way to write

articles you do some research find some

loads of money and you can just get all

the products and do a full review

yourself but to that point just look at

resources around the internet pull them

all together rewrite it restructure it

articles are only a bit over a thousand

but the longer the better

than a 1000 word article and if you look

at the search results page around that

particular keyword each trying to rank

for if everyone else has got two

thousand three thousand word articles

you're gonna need to be at then when I

was setting up 500 word articles then

company or as a sole trader now I'm not

an accountant or tax advisor however I

do have a limited company and for all my

stuff I've had it quite a while it's

done lots of different things for me and

I was advised that is a good thing to do

have a limited company for tax reasons

and all that kind of stuff

however with a limited company there is

more work involved because you need an

accountant and you need to file your

accounts every year all that kind of

stuff and of course it's gonna vary

depending on the countries you're in but

basically all you need to do is make a

note of anything that you spend money on

for your amazon affiliate site so that

could be hosting could be writers it

could be stop photography could even

possibly be a new laptop that you

purchase that you're gonna do your work

on possibly though check with your

accountant making out of everything that

you spending and then of course make a

note of everything you're earning which

you can find from

Amazon dashboard your Amazon affiliate

dashboard those two figures it doesn't

really matter if you're a sole trader or

a limited company you just need to do a

tax return at the end of the year and

put those figures on it this is what I

spend this is what I earned and the

difference will be your profit and that

would be what you pay your tax on of

course if you're in doubt then get an

accountant but generally if you just got

the one Amazon affiliate website then I

won't worry about setting up in a minute

company just yeah I mean if things start

getting serious and you start getting

multiple revenue streams and you're

turning over quite a lot of money then

speak to an accountant and they'd

probably recommend a limited company but

either way as say the most important

thing is you do declare your earnings on

whatever tax return so if it's if he's

just you you know it's all trade or

whatever then it would be your normal

tax return if you're a limited company

then it's in the books and it's

corporation tax on all that stuff
