what is going on everybody I don't know
who's here right now and is watching but
I wanted to do a quick video on how I
got my first 1000 subs on my youtube
channel I think the first and this may
be stuff you've already heard of but I
think the first thing is consistency you
have to you have to upload your content
on a consistent basis it has to be
consistent whether it's daily whether
it's three or four times a week you know
those are the important things also what
I learned growing my channel to a
thousand subscribers is that I changed
up my thumbnails I was doing my own
thumbnails I'm not very good at doing
thumbnails you can see some of my
earlier thumbnails hey everybody whoever
thanks for joining I appreciate it but
anyway the thumbnails are kind of one of
the most or might even be the most
click on that video and getting people
to watch a video and then eventually
getting them to subscribe and that's the
whole point is getting watch time and
subscribers so I changed it up I was
doing my own thumbnails at first and
then I decided to outsource it with a
website called fiber I've done many
videos on Fiverr these guys are pros I
found three or four guys that I use
consistently and those are the guys that
they know what they're doing they know
Photoshop they know how to work at they
know how to put backgrounds and colors
and texts all that stuff so I decide I'm
gonna leave it to the professionals my
time that I was taken to create the
thumbnails I decided it wasn't worth the
what I was getting in return which was a
it okay thumbnail but I knew it had to
be better so that helped me that helped
me quite a bit from for with help with
growing my channel the other thing is
also promoting your channel now I
promote my channel on Facebook I also
promote it with my list
over the course of my affiliate
marketing I've done I've gotten about
maybe a little over 3,000 people on my
on my list that I've grown and I promote
my videos to my list so I think it's
real important that you do that if you
have a list if you don't have a list and
you're growing your list still then
going to social media I think is a big
deal - I just I started doing that a few
months ago where I would do a video and
depending on the content of the video
and depending on what it was about
I would promote it on Facebook and on
Twitter usually you know the my main
social media sources and that got me
more views that also got me you know
that also got me some you know some
subscribers because of you know exposure
to my exposure of my channel to other
people that didn't know I had a channel
so I think you know if you do these
things consistently creating content
consistently great content of course
great thumbnails okay but promoting your
video I think is very very important as
well I mean being able to put it out in
front of many as many eyeballs as
possible is going to get you the views
you're looking for and in turn get you
some subscribers as well and the other
thing it is I did a video on it
you know a few weeks back on how to
promote your channel is collaboration
I've done many collaborations and
they'll in the in the last few months
I've done four or five and in these and
I did it with these people that are
growing their channels as well I did it
with Diana Castillo and Jamie G and Ric
Rodriguez and Prakash and all these guys
that are affiliate marketers that there
are also youtubers and growing their
channels we collaborate together I did
interviews with them and I think that's
important in actually getting more
people to see your channel and to see
your content so collaboration I think is
a big big deal that's helped me quite a
bit in
my channel these last few months but the
first thousand to me seem to be a little
more difficult or it seemed to be a
longer trek to get to the first thousand
after the first thousand though it
seemed to kind of snowball and started
growing much quicker but had I been
doing the things that I'm talking about
right now collaboration better
thumbnails and of course your contents
gonna get better as you go and your
editing and all those things are gonna
are gonna get better as well with your
with your videos and things that's going
to just help enhance the video but also
SEO I mean it's real really real
important to know the SEO which is
search engine optimization the keywords
tags all those things are that important
your titling being able to allow YouTube
to easily rank your videos because it
makes sense it knows exactly where to
place your video you know so again more
watches more eyeballs are gonna get you
more subscribers okay especially if
people like your content and you're
consistent with it as well so guys I

giving giving thumbs up for it all these
guys have helped me understand how to
grow your channel and I've taken a lot
of their advice and put it into my own
in my own form and then just started
taking action and that's really the
biggest thing take action create that
first video create that tenth video
create that fiftieth video and even if
you feel like it's not going as you
thought it was or as you hoped it would
it will come as long as you are
consistent and as long as you're
improving and learning everyday and that
is what I have done for the last year is
that I've learned so much on a daily
basis and I try to improve my content my
editing my thumbnails and of course how
I promote that video and promoting my
video is in turn in essence promoting my
channel and in the end it's gonna give
me again more subscribers more views
more likes all those things so remember
guys social media is free make sure when
you do a video if you're doing a video
about how to make money online promote
that promote that video on Facebook and
Twitter Facebook has many many groups
that are all about affiliate marketing
and making money online and post that
thing on there make sure you're
interacting in those groups so you're
just not bringing real spammy but post
those videos on there and make sure that
you're doing that consistently and don't
just put every video on every channel
you know but it's got to make sense for
the channel if you're doing a video on
you know how to grow your YouTube
channel there are a lot of growth
YouTube groups on Facebook that I
promote or I post my videos on quite a
bit and I've gotten many subscribers
that way but remember if you have a list
promote to your list
show them your videos if you have two
three thousand four five ten fifty
thousand people on your list that is
warm traffic that have opted in to
something that you are offering and they
may be interested in seeing something
else on how to make money online or
something else on how to grow a YouTube
channel so promote to your list promote
on social media make sure you're
consistent with your content make sure
your content is as good as possible and
be sure that your thumb
males are top top top par because you're
going to need that
