in this video I'm going to go over the
three basics for success online whether
that's your online business your YouTube
channel there are three basic principles
that I follow that has helped me grow my
online business as well as my youtube
channel and if you're new to affiliate
marketing and the YouTube platform there
are so many things coming at you at one
time where you can literally get
this video I want to go over the three
things that I always go back to that
helped me clear my mind and get back on
track if I find myself going off in a
different direction instead of focusing
on what I really need to do what is
going on YouTube this is Victor Potter

how to grow your YouTube channel and you

know in this business sometimes we can
get so distracted with so many things
coming at us at once especially if
you're new like it happened to me when I
first started in affiliate marketing and
I started my youtube channel I started
venturing off on so many different
things because it's it's there's so many
things to distract you on the platform
even though the platform is is a
fantastic form of creating and making
your offers available to your audience
it can also be a huge distraction too
especially to newcomers to the platform
and if your goal is to grow your YouTube
channel and to grow your affiliate
marketing business my suggestion is that
you watch the video through it's not
gonna be a very long video but sometimes
we have to get back to the basics and
I'm gonna share with you the three
things that I learned that helped me
stay on track with my channel and with
my affiliate marketing business so let's
get into it so guys we have the three
basics for success on
okay and number one is a letter L and
what that letter L stands for to me is
the word learn okay what you want to do
what I tried to do when I started my
youtube channel and when I started my
affiliate marketing business as I tried
to learn something I try to learn
everyday I try to learn something new
something that would benefit my channel
my growth and my business once I learned
that okay I would do a search on YouTube
and YouTube is the best search engine in
the world in my opinion because the
things that I've learned over the last
ten years from how to replace a toilet
to how to install a ceiling fan to how
to you know exchange out the air filter
of a Jeep Wrangler all of these things I
learned on the YouTube platform so
YouTube is a great place to learn
anything you're interested in learning
so once you've learned that so the D in
the second step stands for do you learn
something and then you do it whether it
is building a funnel or how to how to
connect your autoresponder with your
funnel or how to create a landing page
or a capture page okay or how to rank
your videos on YouTube or how to create
a fantastic thumbnail for your YouTube
video whatever it is that you learn you
have to go and do after you learn it
those are the first two steps in finding
success by keeping it simple and getting
back to the basics and keeping it as
simple and basic as possible learn
something and then you do it so by doing
it that allows you to understand it and
to become an authority about whatever it
is that you learn that you just did so
that you can pass that along to your
viewers or to your potential customers
so you learn and then you do the last
letter is T and that's
and for teach so what you've learned
you've already done and what you've
already done you can now teach now this
is a very valuable yet simple way to
think about your business your YouTube
channel okay because once you start
teaching people how to do things okay
you are giving them value you are
creating a value to somebody that did
not know it now when you are learning
here okay you did not know how to do
whatever it is you are trying to learn
somebody offered you value and showed
you exactly how to do whatever it is
that you are trying to learn you need to
do the same thing here and teach what
you've learned to your viewers I've had
a couple of videos on my youtube channel
that have gotten many many views one
over a hundred thousand views and for
such a small channel that I am that is
huge and all I did was practice this
technique in this philosophy basically I
learned how to do something I did it and
then I taught it if you look at this
thumbnail right here this is the video
that went viral this is the other video
that got a lot of views on because I
taught people how to do something now
the biggest misconception is that well
there are too many videos out there like
that and nobody's gonna be able to see
mine so why create a video on how to
show somebody how to do something
because there are thousands and
thousands of videos out there well when
I did these two videos okay there are
many other videos out there like that
but there weren't any videos out there
like that with me in it I was unique
okay you're very unique if there's only
one of you and you deliver the
information in your own way in a very
unique way that will connect a lot of
people that won't connect
with those other video creators and
that's the beauty about YouTube because
even though there are many videos like
that out there you're you and your video
are one-of-a-kind ok so by teaching and
showing people how to do it you're gonna
get views and viewers that appreciate
that creating value they're gonna
subscribe to your channel they're gonna
hit the like button and as you continue
offering value your audience is going to
grow and when it's time to offer your
audience the affiliate product that
you're promoting at the time you now
have warm traffic that know you that
trust you and that like you because you
offered value by teaching them something
this is a basic philosophy but it is so
so valuable and it's so true because by
offering people of value they're gonna
want to know more about what you do what
you offer they're gonna want to see more
of your videos they're gonna trust you
they're gonna warm up to you you will
have a you will start growing a audience
of warm traffic potentially to an offer
that you may be wanting to promote so
you're not only growing your YouTube
audience and you're growing your brand
as a mentor and somebody who can offer
value to his audience but you're also
creating potentially warm warm traffic
to an offer that you want to promote
with your affiliate products so don't
fall into the trap of I don't want to
make that video or I don't want to
create that content because if there's
too many of that out there already yes
there are a lot there's a lot of content
about a lot of things how to make money
online how to repost videos on Instagram
how to mirror your iPhone onto your
computer I did those things and I found
some success with those videos because I
connected with a certain percentage of
the audience that did not connect or did
not find the other videos the many other
videos that were out there on the same
subject so guys I hope you enjoyed the

this and I live by the ldt philosophy
when running my business and creating
content on my
to channel just keep it simple guys get
back to the basics sometimes we can get
scatterbrained sometimes we can get you
know venture off into a lot of other
different things because there's so much
noise and so much so many things coming
at us at any given moment on the YouTube
platform and with affiliate marketing
there's so many different offers out
there if you can just remember to keep
it simple and to do these things I think
it'll help you grow your business and
help you grow your channel so guys thank
