So then in lesson number three, we're gonna go over how to set up your autoresponder

Because that is one of the most vital and most important pieces of your sales funnel and then in the final

Lesson lesson number four. I'm gonna show you how to connect all of that together. So you'll have a complete

We'll start lesson number one how to create a capture page

This is gonna be the first step of a series of four videos

That's going to show you step-by-step on how to create a high converting sales funnel

The first step is to create a capture page and I'm gonna go to my click funnels account. I do use click funnels

This is especially great for beginners when I first started my affiliate marketing business

I didn't even know what a funnel was and how to create it. I kept hearing the name click funnels

So I investigated and it seems that it is the to me. It's the easiest

Funnel building software to use it's very very user friendly. So if you're a beginner

the nice thing about click funnels also is that you can share funnels like if I build a funnel in my click funnels account and

All right with that said this is my funnel page here

And what we want to do is I want to get to this button right here. I want to add a new funnel

That's what we're gonna do. They have two styles. I've got the cook book builder process in the classic funnel

We're just gonna create a new funnel right down here. Okay, this is gonna be a basic

Three-step funnel system. It's going to have a capture page

It's gonna have a bridge page and then it's gonna have the sales page

Okay

So I'm gonna create the new funnel click on that and the whole idea behind in my opinion if you're an affiliate marketer

Is that you want to collect emails?

So the whole idea behind the funnel is to collect emails, you know

Unless you're hosting a webinar or selling a physical product or a digital product

Then collecting emails should be your number one choice

So we're gonna choose that right there and we're gonna name this funnel now, you can name it whatever you want if you're promoting

a particular

Clickbank product then you can call it Clickbank, you know red tea detox or whatever it is that you're promoting

So for the purpose of this lesson, we're gonna call this test

And we're just gonna go ahead and click build the funnel

Pretty easy so far and I told you like I said, I'm gonna walk you step-by-step

So when you build your funnel, it's gonna give you the two steps, which is the opt-in page

Which is where your capture page is gonna be and then your Thank You page which is where the bridge page going to be

So what's nice about clickfunnels? It gives you all these pre done templates that are all editable

You can edit every one of these templates. It just depends on what you're looking for. So my

Advice to you is to keep it simple. Okay, and that's where I have had probably the best

Results is if I had a simple funnel step, which is a capture page

but the key to the capture page is to have text in there that really

Captures people's attention and makes them want to put in their email and their information to go to the next step

Okay, so you don't want it to be too busy in my opinion. There are a lot of great funnels here

And this is more for advanced but we always always going to go to the clean. I'm gonna go to this clean box opt-in

I'm gonna select this. Okay, and we're gonna change it up a little bit once you select it

It's creating the funnel for you. And there you go. There it is. Now. I can preview this funnel just by clicking this button here

let's this is exactly what it looks like as the

Default funnel the way it's set up exactly from click funnels. Okay?

So what's nice about is that you can go into here edit it we're gonna click the edit button right there

And now you can see I can you can see all the little different boxes that are coming up because now I can edit

Anything I want if I want to move this I can move this down here

I can move this around I can move this up here if I want it to

Mean, it's completely editable. Okay, but we're not gonna get into that right. Now. What we're gonna do is gonna keep this

Template and we're gonna edit this template to make it your own and to make it a high converting

capture page okay because the first thing it's gonna ask for is your name and your email address and that's the whole point of a

Capture page is to collect emails because you want to build your list

That's how the big time super affiliates

make a lot of their money is that they have these big lists that they built over time and when they're creating value and

Let's say posting videos on YouTube kind of like which is the platform. I've chosen to go with

Creating value their list grows, and they have a big following and they're sending valuable emails to that list

lessons things on how to do things and then once in a while

They'll send an offer and since they built value and trust with their list guess what their list tends to opt in and purchase

Okay, and that's the whole point of?

Creating a list and capturing their emails. Okay. So this is one of the most important steps

Alright, let's get into the editing. The first thing I want to show you is let's this is a background image

That's the default image when we selected this template. I can I can change the image

I can change that

I can put another picture in the background or I can just clear it completely and make it a blank background

Which is what I want to do, okay?

So the first thing you'll do is you're going to settings right here and you see this button. There's his background you click on that

This is the actual image URL. This is what's giving this image on the background

Now I can change that by clicking this and I can upload one of the images I have here

Which is not what I want to do. Okay, what I want to do is just eliminate the image that's on a blank background

So all I do is delete this whole URL right here. It's gonna hit back sweep

Delete and you see how it completely just went to a blank white screen

pretty pretty easy, right and remember with clickfunnels and with any

software that you're using to build a funnel you're gonna want to save your work if you if you know if you if you know

Exactly what you're wanting to do. Then you're gonna head and save your work every time you make a big change

So I'm gonna hit save right there. I like that save

Okay

Now it's asking for SEO metadata basically is to basically title this page

Okay

You don't want to be moss and landing page you let's say you're gonna promote read TD top from Clickbank and I'll show you that

In the next lessons, okay, so I'm gonna put red

tea

Detox, and then you want to put a description and the description is how to lose

Belly fat fast

Okay, we'll just go with that. All right, and then I get save again. So personally, I like a dark background

Okay, again, you could leave it white and just start changing the text and we're gonna get into that right now

But I'm gonna change my background so I'm gonna go back into settings right here and going back to background

Now you see where it says background color you click on this box and it opens up the color now. That's the color

That's currently but I want it to be black or you can change it to red or black

Okay, I personally like a dark background

I'm gonna keep it black and then you can change it here and make it completely black see that

See this with this little dot right here. You can change up your colors all that stuff. Like I said, I like it

I'm gonna keep it black. Okay, so let's go here. And then there we go. Now we have a completely black background

I'm gonna save that again

Now what we're gonna do is we're gonna change this up here

so if you look at these little cog wheels of settings this cog wheel here is

To change the entire box here that you see. Okay. This is to change the text here

This is to change this and this is to change that but I want though the entire box

I'm gonna click on that again. And of course it brings up this window here

Okay, so if I want to change my background color again, I'm gonna click on this cog

I'm not gonna click on this because that's just gonna change what's in this box

If you notice that the green outline frames this whole box right here

Well, that means that I'll change everything that's allowable to change within this white box. So I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna click on that

Here we have the background-color bgcolor and it's currently white well, I'm gonna change that to maybe a grey

So yeah, there you go. I like that grey. We're gonna stick with that now

It's hard to read the black text what we can change that as well

so all I have to do now is

highlight this text

here

go to this cog wheel within this blue box and

Then change the text color. Remember the bold color text is red. I'm gonna change this text color to white

boom now all of the white text all of the regular text that's not bold is gonna go to white

That makes sense

so really really easy to do another thing you can do within this box is click on this wheel again, okay, and

If you decide you want to change your font

You can select a font right here and you can just select any font you want here?

I mean, it's just personal preference and I'll do that just for the sake of this

Training so let's go with Roboto right here

You see how it changed the font a little bit again

If I don't like it, I could hit this back button here

And it takes it back to the original font, which I kind of I'm gonna stick with that

alright, so

With that said let's go ahead and start changing up the text now

With text and a capture page you want you want to have text that really?

makes people want to learn more about what you're

offering and I use words like and I've learned this over the last year or so of creating funnels and

Captivating text you want to use words like discover and hack and things like that. So if we're promoting a weight loss product

Like the red tea detox

the text that I've used in the text I'm going to use here is going I'm going to highlight this I'm gonna put

discover this

This oh

My gosh bill. I also want to put weird

2-minute hack or something like that, but I want that to be in bold. So I'm gonna highlight the bold text and put weird

It automatically goes into the bold and that same color

Two-minute hack

And then the rest will be regular text I think so I'm gonna go ahead and get rid of this

Let's see this weird two-minute hack will hit the back button there's too many spaces and

then you highlight that and I'm gonna put

That reveals

Okay, now I like the text to change up the color because I want certain words to still really stand out on the

capture page and these are the little hacks and tricks that

Really get more attention to your capture page

And again make people want to input their information their name and their email address

especially if you're hitting on a pain point that

really resonates with that particular viewer

Then they're gonna really want to you know

Cuz maybe somebody's struggling with losing belly fat and maybe they've tried all kinds of exercises

Maybe they've tried all kinds of different type of techniques and things like that and other products that didn't work

But now you're showing them a weird 2-minute hack that reveals how to lose one town of belly fat in 72 hours

So this might really capture somebody's attention who's trying and struggling to lose weight

And make them want to input their information. That's the whole point here, right?

So I also want to highlight a couple of other things on this

text

So I want that to be read also, so it automatically go to read when I hit the bold button here see that

I'm gonna put a belly fat that that I want that to be bold as well

So if you're happy with that you say but I think I want to edit it again

so what we'll do is we're gonna keep this red no make that reveals how to lose and then we're gonna make this

We're gonna unbold

lose

And make that white

One pound of belly fat in 72 hour. I think that looks a little bit better

Okay, so you can play around with this. You can change up the the font like I just showed you

So another thing you can do you can actually change the size of the font see right here

It's on 32 you can actually use this little

slider and watch this

See how it changes it and it expands everything else too. So it'll fit correctly

okay, so if you want it to be a little bit larger if this is gonna be the only thing on the page then you

Can definitely do that see that?

Okay, the the default was 32, I believe but let's see if we go back to 32

See I think I like it larger, I think I like it on 40

Okay. Now I think this red color can be a better looking red. So knowing that it's bold

So all we have to do is go back into

This bold color right here. Click on that

And I want it to be much brighter. Let's see that looks a lot better. Yeah, it really stands out

So we're gonna stick with that red. I like that red much better. So I'm gonna save that

Okay. So now that we have the text set up the next step is okay. So we've got this button right here

How do we change the text on this button? Okay, so you can also change the button itself

Well, let's go into settings is what's gonna highlight the button here go into settings

And this tells you exactly how to change all of that stuff

You can change the font size within the button right here. See

The actual text itself right here where it says download free report

Now you can actually change the color of the button if I wanted to make that that same red. Let's say

Maybe that works better. Okay. Let's go ahead and do that

Okay, and now let's change the actual text of the button. So we just again we click on this little cog wheel here and

Right here. It says button text. I'm gonna go ahead and highlight that and I'm going to I'm gonna change it to

Okay, and what's really cool is that you can now I don't want to get into advanced stuff, but what's really neat?

I think this is kind of cool you can go to advanced here and

If you see if you take a look at this right here this icon picker

you can pick an icon picker and

then a one for after so if like if I go to icon picker I click on that and

It gives me all of these options on any icon. I want to add now. Check this out

I'm gonna click on

This arrow right here

Look at that see where I added the arrow right here

Attracted to that button. Okay, that makes sense

so if I stay within the

Advanced Settings here

I can also I like to actually do a button effect like make this do something right

So you can there's no effect. You can see right here. I'm still in advanced

We were in settings originally right here

And then there's themes you can change the button if you want it rounded or a different, you know

A different look or a different type of text or that type of thing. We're gonna leave that alone

But if you oh, my love's in advanced and this is where I added the icon right here

Okay far right arrow, but I also want to do a button effect

So I'm gonna do a button effect so I can do like a pulse glow

So if I check it out, so you see what it's doing right there, see how it's glowing and pulsing right now

Which is cool. You can also do a rocking one see that it just draws attention

You can do a bounce

I'm not real fond of that one, but you can elevate I'm just gonna show you all of them basically our hover

Wobble

See that's how it wobbled when I got out of it

So I kind of like I'm gonna go back to advanced

I think I kind of liked either the pulse glow or the you know, they were rocking. Let's see here. I

Must stick with the rocking on this one. I've actually used pulse glow before

But really really kind of easy to use and then

Again, remember any time you have major changes want to hit save

Okay, I remember we still need to show you how to connect your autoresponder and all the other steps that are coming along but today's

Lesson was just to how to create a high converting landing page getting the text right getting the colors that type of thing

again, you can change this to your own liking so you want to change this up here where it says if you can hide I

Can highlight that kind of see that will not spam rent or sell your information I would leave that there

or you can put your copyright information or whatever it is, but let's change that up because

Those colors, you can't really see it so you could actually change let's say the background color to

Let's say to a white

Or even a yeah, let's go with a white

Okay, and then you can actually change the text color on top of that

To let's say a

It's going to green no that's not showing up to well, let's go with a black

There we go. That's better. Okay, so that changed this in forgot that information there. So it kind of all kind of blends in nicely

It works. Well, it's really really basic and easy to follow

The only thing advanced that I show you is how to do this icon and how to make this

I have an effect the button have an effect. It's kind of bouncing bouncing around. But remember guys the capture page is

So important because it's the only way you're gonna collect their information which allows you to build your list

Which allows you to do the follow-up which is where the magic happens and where the sales happen
