going to show you how you can cloak your
affiliate links and make them look neat

I want to address an issue where your
affiliate links look long ugly and
spammy so that nobody is going to click
that kind of bad looking a link let's
get to the screen of my laptop and I'm
going to show you what I'm talking about
so for example if you go to clickbank
pick a product to promote then click
promote button to generate your
affiliate link then you have to add your
account link name and click generate
hope link
so these how an affiliate link from
Clickbank usually look like as you can
see if you post this link to any
resources to any websites forums any
kind in the comments for example in the
comment section of the blog post on news
websites nobody is going to click this
thing because it looks really spammy a
lot of people especially those who are
not computer savvy or you know have no
idea about digital marketing they will
think that this is not only spammy link
but may lead to any kind of viruses or
some malware or you know some kind of
scamming website so it's really crucial
to cloak this link to make it look nice
and branded and right now right at this
moment I'm going to show you how you can
do that how can make this link look nice
I want to point out that this approach
works not only with Clickbank affiliate
links but with any links whatsoever
online so first of all we have to go to
the dashboard of our WordPress website
for this tutorial I'm going to use a
website that I built in the video where
I was showing how you can create a
WordPress website from scratch if you
missed that video or you still don't
know how you can create your own
WordPress website you can follow the
link below this video in the description

step beginner friendly
well show every single step how we can
create your website your self hosted
WordPress website from scratch if you
already have your own WordPress website
all you have to do is log in to your
dashboard and then go to plugins click
add new right here in the search you
have to type in pretty link and you will
see show things by pretty links next
step is just click install now after
your plugin is installed click activate
after it's done you will see pretty
links appeared in the left menu bar so
click pretty links and you will arrive
to the plugin where we're going to add
to cloak our affiliate link so for this
you have to click add new now here you
have to put the title the title I
usually put the name of the product and
then the placement where I'm going to
use that link for example some of the
links of the same product I can put in
the description of this of the videos on
my youtube channel some of the links for
the same product I can put in the emails
for example in the third email or in the
certain name email other links I can put
in the article for example so for this I
usually put for example you know test
product is going to be flat benefics so
I would put flat belly fix and let's say
general general means that if I am going
to use that link to promote for example
over the Internet in the comment section
in the forums all over the internet just
dropping the comments you know I would
put general because this link I would
use everywhere else where I don't want
to track particularly this link oh I can
put for example comments as well if I'm
going to use if I'm going to use mainly
in the comment sections of the websites
but let's keep just general it doesn't
really matter target URL is basically a
sales page of the product that we're
going to promote well pretty link URL so
right here
have to add an extension to our URL in
addition to our domain name now we have
to generate actually the link that we're
going to use to promote this product so
it will consist of the domain name of
your website my domain name in this case
is going to be random domain blog comm
then to create our cloaked neat and nice
I fear that link we have to add a word
or two so for the sake of this tutorial
I'm going to use flap very fix and in
the notes you can add some additional
information just for you so that you
would understand what this link is about
and where you're going to place then you
have to click update after you've done
that and that's it our link is ready to
be used all over the Internet as you can
see right here you see the title of the
link so you understand right away what
the link is all about and right here is
the link that you're going to promote so
if you click here then copy that link
and go to the website or type into the
address bar of your browser then click
enter you will see that it will get
redirected to the product page of your
Phillip product that you are promoting
and what's nice about it is that if you
go back to pretty links plug-in right
here refresh the page after you use the
link you're able to see how many clicks
were made to that link so you actually
see the tracking of the link this way
you will be able to see what articles
bring the most of the clicks to the
product these kind of cloaking increases
the chance that people would actually
click the link and go to check out the
sales page of the product because those
long and ugly spammy looking links
nobody's going to click because they
look really suspicious so I highly
recommend you to implement this plugin
into you day to day affiliate marketing
work and use it pretty much with all
