guys you've been asking me and I promise

you that I will shoot a video tutorial

step by step where I show you how to

build a landing page or an opt-in page

in WordPress landing pages that convert

really well so this is it this video is

a tutorial where I will show you how I

am building landing pages for my

affiliate marketing projects and not

only affiliate marketing projects I was

testing something for local lead

generation and I was building exactly

using this system this tool to build

these kind of landing pages to collect

to capture the details of my visitors to

collect their emails and provide

something for free to them in exchange

and before I will show you the exact

step-by-step how to actually create a

landing page or an opt-in page I want to

say a couple of words about the tool

that I personally used to build all my

landing pages and opt-in pages and this

tool is called thrive architect why I

personally chose thrive architect

instead of for example quick funnels

lead pages instant pages and optimized

press I used to use optimized press but

optimized press is really outdated it

became outdated some time ago because

it's like overly complicated and it's

right now is far behind all the

alternatives that there are on the

market why I don't use clear files

because click funnels is not ideal for

beginners and it's not ideal for

affiliate marketers click funnels works

best for those entrepreneurs who promote

their own product who sell something of

their own because click funnels works

really good when you need to build

complicated funnels and you have your

own product to promote because quick

funds include like kind of integrates

the payment process payment system

if you're promoting affiliate products

clickfunnels is overpriced because if

I'm not mistaken $97 a month is basic

plan and it doesn't even include

autoresponder if I'm not mistaken and

the autoresponder that it includes I had

mixed feedback that it's not it doesn't

work as well and you know say in

addition to clearance you still need to

pay some for an domain name and for both

responder and some additional services

either way and it's much wiser to go

with the tool that provides the same

functionality as click funnel that you

need to run your affiliate marketing

business you get it costs way way

cheaper for example thrive architect the

tool that I'm using causes the cheapest

plan cost sixty seven dollars a year its

annual payment sixty seven dollars and

you can start building opt-in pages and

landing pages on your website and the

second reason why I prefer thrive

architect instead of other let's say as

well affordable alternatives like online

page builders like instapage leadpages

and the rest of them because thrive

architect you're installing on your self

hosted WordPress website so you ideally

you want to have the possibility to

create landing pages opt-in pages in

addition to your let's say website to

your blog where you can publish articles

and start promoting the content or

ranking in Google leadpages insta pages

they exist only for creation of landing

pages and opt-in pages they don't

they're not meant to run blogs you know

so you have to pay mother fee to have

only landing page or an opt-in page and

we thrive architect you install thrive

architect as a plugin to your self

hosted website and you can using this

plugin you can create opt-in pages in

addition to your main blog this what I

really like and

need for my affiliate marketing

businesses so without further ado let's

and get started so what you need to make

it work you need two things the first

one is thrive architect and the second

is self hosted website in WordPress if

you still don't have your own self

hosted WordPress website not the free

one wordpress.com but self hosted

WordPress website follow the link below

really simple to follow so after you

create your self hosted website you will

have to arrive to login page of your

website this how it usually looks and

you have to login to your dashboard of

your self hosted website so right in

front of you is the dashboard or

yourself hosted WordPress website we can

close unnecessary information right here

so it can look something similar

something a little bit different but the

general idea is going to be exactly the

same as you see on this screen for now

let's leave the dashboard of your

website and let's go get the thrive

architect plugin I will drop the link

below in the description of this video

so you can just click it and arrive to

this page if you click right here on top

our products you will see right here in

the drop down menu the whole list of all

the products that they offer

the first one is thriving architect when

you click to thrive architect you will

arrive to this page you can watch the

video let's say video presentation of

the tool and when you scroll all the way

down you will arrive to the plans so one

single license plan cost sixty seven

dollars a year five Lots license pack

cost $97 a year as well it's not monthly

fees and no fee so basically if you have

just one single website and you don't

don't plan to get more websites then you

can go with $67 plan if you have already

a couple of websites and you need

you know that you need landing pages on

more than one let's say website then you

can get the five license back the one

that I got

but either way even if you get 67 what

like single license plan don't worry

because you will always be able to

upgrade that and get more licenses for

more websites so when you yeah so

basically proceed with that Add to Cart

and like finish the payment because I

already bought through our architect I

already have it and all I have to do

right now is actually login to the

membership area so after you get your

thrive architect click on member login

like follow all the kind of steps and

design click to member login now I will

login to my members area of threat

themes so here we are in the membership

area and first thing that you have to do

is download thrive architect you click

download and save to the folder where

you will find this plugin click Save now

we want to go back to the dashboard of

our website and what we want to do go to

plugin then add new and upload plugin so

we click Choose file go to the folder

where we downloaded to wear with

downloaded ultra architect click on the

file thrive architect and click open

then you click install and it will get

installed now we go to plugins installed

plugins right here you find thrive

architect and if it there shows activate

right here then click activate you have

to activate the plugin because on this

website as I always said that I only

have from architects is activated and I

don't have to do anything with that

after that after you activated your

thrive architect you have to go to

thrive dashboard and go to license

manager so now you have to add

licensed that you just paid for two your

plugin that you install to your website

and for this we have to enter our email

address and license key to find these

information you have to go back to

thrive architect dashboard scroll right

here in the right on the right side you

can see my accountant license keys so

you click here if you will scroll a bit

down you will see license keys where you

can find all the information that you

need and right here email and license

key so there you will find your email

address and license key so you basically

copy and paste both of them to the

according places right here on your

website email address to the email

address and license key to the license

key then you click activate license and

that's it after that

your fraud architect should be active

and you will see this kind of green sign

after these kind of like registration

steps are finished we can start creating

our landing page for that we have to go

to pages click add new and for example I

will create let's say sciatica report

sciatica free report so police project

let's create sciatica free report the

landing page where I'm giving away free

report on sciatica that is provided as

free rebrand herbal PDF on Clickbank the

other PI was showing you in one of my

previous videos and yeah so this is the

title of the page we click Save then we

have to either save draft or publish

because only after that you will be able

to kind of launch through our architect

and find the page on your website after

that you go to launch through our

architect we arrived to this kind of to

the default page of your website to the

default theme we don't have to pay

attention to that

not much now we have to go to page

settings right here and choose landing

page template and this is one of the

best parts of thrive architect because

it offers like about 250 templates of

landing pages if we scroll down you see

how many there are and each one of them

each group for example the one that I

personally like one of the landing pages

that a person like I like these two mini

squeeze and mini squeeze 2 and main

squeeze so if we click on expand set you

will see that each template has even

more templates inside of it so a couple

of words what kind of landing pages work

best the best landing pages that you

have to go with are the simple landing

pages the minimalistic style because

complicated things can be good for some

things for example if visitors for

example need some more information about

your company especially if you are

running some lead generation for local

businesses or you are offering some

complicated kind of like services and

you want to provide more information for

your credibility and so on so forth but

like for affiliate marketing especially

I would recommend to go with some

something like really minimalistic and

one of them yeah these ones elementary

for example our good ones as well

vibrant as well are good too in this

case I'm gonna go with mini squeeze too

and I will choose mini squeeze two of

lead generation 2 template after you

choose the template you click choose

template now it's being loaded and here

we are as you can see is already loaded

the only thing that I don't really like

in this template that call to action

button is below the fold you want to

have this call to action button above

the fold above the fold means that when

you land on this page when you arrive to

this page you'll see call to

action without doing anything without

touching your website so without

scrolling down anything because when it

is kind of below and you have to like

below the fold and you have to scroll

down to see this call to action button

it decreases conversion rate pretty

significantly so what we want to do with

this landing page is we want to optimize

it and kind of adjust it to make it way

more compact yeah first of all I want to

attract your attention that everything

is drag-and-drop and everything is you

can adjust everything visually with your

mouse the majority of things and it's

very easy to do and easy to follow so

first thing I want to kind of make it

compact make it shorter to arrive to

make this button kind of like above the

fold and what we can do we can remove

the spacing there we can remove the

spacing here as well so I'm gonna be

adjusting this landing page to what I

think is gonna work best so what I will

do let me say straight away I will

change this landing page and adapt to

the free report of sciatica that I'm

gonna upload here as any as an example

as an example of free giveaways so I'm

not going to put too much effort and

time into title kinda like in

copywriting and the best title of this

whole thing and the best text I'm gonna

just be taking the information from that

free ripple that I have and just copy

paste right here to make the accent on

the page building now we want to make

this smaller as well so you can use the

scroll to make it smaller or you can

make manually like that with your

fingers we can keep 36 line height

maybe we can put one

now we want to change this image and we

just click it right here right here we

click change image upload files so we

choose the image then we upload it to

the website and set to the post and here

it is so now we can actually make make

the image size smaller or bigger and

here we will list some things about this

report and for this we have to actually

open the report and see what's in there

and for example the first topic is why

disclaimers and like all the stuff you

can delete the thrive landing page is

copyright and put it right here for

example my your website for example

modern your website comm what else then

after you finish all that you click on

the button first of all you can adjust

this button and change the text of the

button and the buttons and everything

whatever you need to do then when you

click to animation and action you can

see that when you click on the button it

opens the lightbox so for example if we

save this page and open this page in the

new window in the new tab when we click

on this button the lightbox comes out so

we need to edit this lightbox as well so

we going back to the Thrive architect

editor and when we click to the button

right here you see animation and action

and open lightbox and the function when

you click on the button it opens the

lightbox

lightbox is basically a pop-up kind of

window that comes out to your page and

kind of blacks out the rest the rest of

the screen makes it kind of dark it kind

of attracts the attention so when you

click on this pencil you will see right

here the lightbox and you can click Edit

lightbox when you click Edit flight

books it opens the new

edit kind of adjustment window or thrive

architect and we can adjust right here

setup to get instant access to your free

download again we want to make it

compact and for that we just click to

the this kind of block or paragraph and

remove the spacing

now we remove the spacing of this block

as well

you

so we made it more compact and right

here the same when I click the image we

have to put the image of our free report

then we click change image and put

exactly the same insert to the post and

then we get instant access and the zip

so don't think that I will leave it to

the next tutorial where we will be

creating our auto responder account and

least to like for this particular

landing page I will show you also how to

connect this landing page to your auto

responder for those of you who know how

to do that great for those of you who

don't I will show it to you in the next

video to show you right now quickly how

to do that when you click to the lead

generation box right here on the left

you can see connect forum to service

when you collect forum to service then

you can choose either with HTML form

connection which is unlikely most likely

if you are using kind of advanced with

responder then most likely you're going

to use new IP API connection so when you

click right here you basically click on

add new API connection and connect to

your service that you are using for now

we are not going to be doing that

because it's the content for the next

video

yeah why we need to connect your

autoresponder because when we collect

the leads collect name and email address

we want to get this saved in our water

responder and automate everything so

that you will not need to send out this

free report manually each and every time

it's a lot of hassle you will be like

you know we don't do that and we are

connecting to autoresponder and as soon

as someone subscribes gets all automatic

email with the link to this free report

so now we just click save and we can

just close the lightbox now if we go

back to our

landing page reload it and click the

call-to-action button click here to get

instant access as you can see our

lightbox

is updated with the information that we

needed with the picture that we need we

can make actually the picture bigger and

these fields smaller it's totally doable

and maybe even recommended what else the

crucial thing is that a lot of traffic

these days comes from like on their

mobile phones so what we need to make

sure that our landing page looks decent

on mobile devices and for this unlike

some other page builders this is another

reason why I like thrive architect and I

don't like optimize press for example

because they make it extremely extremely

difficult and you actually need to know

coding in order to adjust landing page

for mobile devices in front architect to

make sure that it's a it is optimized

for one for mobile devices all you have

to do is click right here in responsive

View button and see how it looks on the

tablet for example so for tablet we what

we can do we can for example add some

space in the top and end up yeah maybe

we can add even more space in the top

like that to make it better looking

because this is the size of the of the

iPad or like tablet whatever you're

using then click Save when we are adding

in the tablet it doesn't actually change

on the desktop it didn't add any spacing

in the top it added only spacing on the

tablet and it didn't change on the

mobile either so we have to go to the

mobile device it's very important and

change the mobile device as well as you

can see is everything really really bad

looking on the mobile device so we have

we

have to actually adjust this and for

this we have to first of all decrease

the amount of the spacing of the text

and line height line height to one point

six probably at one point eight no one

point six is better and now it looks

much better we actually also need to

make sure that call to action button is

above the fold on all the mobile devices

and right here this button looks not

very nice it looks too big I want to

make it smaller and we can do like that

then we can actually make the button

will be smaller by decreasing the size

of it as well to make it look neater and

nicer like that and now it's much better

the only thing what we can do we can add

some spacing right there and remove

spacing down there to make it more even

and we can add some spacing right there

and decrease spacing right there so it

looks way better we can also decrease

the text size of these privacy balls in

like whatever is in the footer and thus

premise it now we can get back to the

landing page on the PC and everything is

set what you also can do is always check

on your on your PC or in different

browsers on your mobile phone on maybe

another mobile phone on iPhone on

Android phones as well to make sure that

like different sizes as well to make

sure that it on each device looks nice

if it for example doesn't fit into the

screen then make it smaller and

look nicer the last thing what we can do

we can change the background image and

for that what we have to do is go to

background style and right here if we

click - for example image then choose

image and we can upload any image that

you want them to upload as a background

in this case what I would do honestly

speaking is I would make it a little bit

like that or bit darker I would keep the

same background picture because it's

like quite abstract it doesn't distract

any attention from your report but make

it even you don't kind of like opt-in

page even better we can keep it like

that and for some reason the button

decreased we can increase the size of it

back to there to 32 more about yes now

it all works really well as you can see

it now even better highlighted and pops

out - you're kind of to the eyes of the

diseases of the landing page so guys
