hi a lot of you want to know exactly how
should you be presenting yourself in an
interview what goes best so guys this is
share with you which definitely worked
for me which might or might not work for
you but they are definitely worth a try
so let's get started with the video the
first thing that you have to really
remember is that you have to dress very
smartly you don't have to overdo you do
not have to wear something extra you
just have to dress up simple you have to
carry your resumee and the resume is
should not be in a very crippled form
the resume may has to be short and sweet
and how exactly should I resume my be we
will talk in some other video but for
now I just have to say that your resume
it should be in a proper condition that
was all you have to take care of another
very important thing is that you have to
walk and smartly you don't have to be in
a posture such that you're begging
someone for something you don't have to
be scared you have to be smart you have
to walk in smartly with a lot of
confidence and please don't forget to
wear your smile a smile does wonders for
anyone so carry a smile on your face
while you're walking inside that door
where you have your interviewers right
there sitting waiting for you a lot of
us make this mistake they when they
start to talk to an interviewer they
have this tendency of going really light
on them they have this tendency to
control themselves or compose themselves
you don't really have to do that you
have to come out really confident you
don't have to agree with every single
damn thing they say to you you can be
yourself and if you do not agree with
certain things you are not confident you
are not comfortable with some condition
you have to let them know it's okay to
let them know you don't have to agree
with everything just that you should
know you should know the art of actually
conveying the things forward okay you
have to say it in a manner so that the
other person understands you and I have
always laid stress on this particular
point I always ask you again and again
when you speak something you have to
make sure the other person is listening
and is exactly getting what you are
trying to say
so convey your thoughts convey them in a
manner that
you come out polite you come out
intelligent and you come out efficient
you don't have to be subdued by the
other person you don't always have to
agree to anything they always say to you
because you're not there to beg them for
anything you are there to actually offer
your services what is the purpose of
this interview you are there you are
selling your services okay if they will
not buy somebody else will but you don't
have to actually kill yourself or make
yourself into totally somebody else whom
you're not just because you want them to
hire you and I'm telling you from my own
personal experience it never goes
against you it always works in your
favor if you're not comfortable with
night shifts you have to let your HR
know okay if you're not comfortable
moving to some other City you have to
let them move give them your reason
don't sell yourself you are their only
and only to sell your services and not
to sell yourself remember this always
you are a person you have your
individuality if the other person is
intelligent enough your interviewer is a
smart enough he or she will understand
that the person he or she is dealing
with is not somebody who can be sold for
a little price okay remember this carry
yourself with poise carry yourself with
grace
be confident you don't always have to
know the best of English if you are not
come from very confident about that
language you can let the other person
know about that also tell them you know
don't say that you do not understand
English and if that is your major
weakness or something like you don't
have to put it that way
just tell them if you're working upon
your language English is not a mother
tongue we are not supposed to be knowing
it ever since the time people born if
you're not confident about certain
aspects of your job or something that
requires some more effort just borrow
some time and ask for the time in a very
humble manner and convince them that
this is your right you deserve some time
and I'm sure they will be able to give
you that you just have to ask in a
manner that they understand that the
person they are dealing with is a person
of metal another thing that I definitely
want to talk about is that if you do not
know something there
skill please don't cook up answers they
are not full sitting there they will
always understand just be clear that
you're sorry and you do not know the
right answer but you're going to go back
and definitely look into it that is the
best way to handle such a situation if
you don't know anything just smile and
tell them and tell them with confidence
so confidence is the key that is
something that I'm highlighting all
throughout the video so be confident be
yourself and be honest
honesty always works it definitely works
a lot in my favor one more thing that
you need to take care of is that you do
not over promise please do not commit to
something that you know you will not be
able to deliver do not over promise just
tell them anything that you're not
confident with or not comfortable with
just tell them they're going to be
trying your hardest if it works for you
you will be able to do it if it somehow
does not work for you or you're not
being able to pull it off well you are
going to come back to them and tell them
your problem or share your problem with
them this is a good way of dealing with
something that you are not very
comfortable with right now
I have majorly covered everything that I
wanted to talk about with my own
experience I don't think I have given an
interview where I have not actually
succeeded it has really worked well in
my favor my the basics that I would say
which I have always followed in all my
interviews I ever gave first of all I
was I always knew my stuff and if
something I did not know I used to tell
them that I do not do not know about it
or I need time to go and look into it
and just simply apologize in a simple
sweet manner you don't have to be over
apologetic also another thing that has
always worked for me is that I used to
always keep a smile on my face you have
to look pleasant you don't have to look
sad nobody wants to work with somebody
who's so sad okay so another thing is
that oh yeah my English is fine
but I understand a lot of you are not
very comfortable with this language so
in this case what you can do is just let
them know as I told you right yeah in
the end I would just say come up polite
come out efficient come out intelligent
not somebody who can be manipulated
easily be yourself do not try and become
somebody else because you will not be
able to the other person will easily
catch that and maybe make fun of you or
not talk well about you behind your back
so nobody wants that to happen to them
