guys I wanted to make a second video of
a two-part series of a week ago I made
this video here it says YouTube make
$500 without recording videos I got some
good views on it but in the video I also
told my viewers that I would make a
second video showing exactly how to edit
the videos that we are uploading for
compilation videos using the Creative
Commons system so remember Creative
Commons is where the YouTube allows you
to use that video on your own channel
and a lot of people are doing that
nowadays I actually am doing that as
well and I'm gonna show you one or two
of the videos that I've actually
uploaded my channel is very small and I
just started it right so I'm gonna show
that to you right now
so here is the channel I just started if
you notice I only have 15 subscribers
right here okay I've only posted about
five videos or so okay I'm sorry about
eight or nine videos but if you look at
a couple of my videos for instance this
one right here when rami malek
won the Golden Globe I got six point
five thousand views and this was three
weeks ago I think this was probably the
one two three four fifth video I posted
look at this video here now some of them
don't get much of views and like I said
you just never know what's gonna go
viral I've got this horrific plane
crashes caught on tape 2019 almost got
2,000 views that was posted three weeks
ago
I think the thumbnail is really what
what makes people want to click on that
video okay but as you can see there's
views whatever I only have 15
subscribers to get 6.5 thousand views
at almost 2000 views with only 15 and
when I got these views I had maybe three
or four subscribers okay so that's just
an example of and this is my personal
channel one of them that I just started
I've got two others actually that are
there are other niches other types of
niches and things like that that I'm
working on - but I wanted to show that
to you so but this is gonna be the
second part of the of the video that I
shot a week ago like I said and I'm
gonna show you after you've uploaded
your video and I'm gonna show you how to
do that one more time after you've
filtered it by Creative Commons you
started uploading it what you want to do
is you want to kind of make it your own
you want to do some editing and this is
the video that a lot of people have been
asking me to make like how do you edit
it what do you do what's the process
well I use a paid editor where I've paid
for this fantastic editor called
Camtasia however there are many free
editing software tools out there I'm
going to show you one today I'll leave a
link down below for both Camtasia if you
decide you want to invest in can take
Camtasia it's not inexpensive but it's
probably one of the best editing tools
on the market so it may be worth the
investment if not if you if the budgets
not there for a paid editing tool I'm
gonna leave a link down below for a hit
film Express basically it's a free
editing tool I've used it once or twice
it's fantastic so and I'll and I'll
leave that link down below as well but
let's get into the video guys okay so
once you've selected a video so I went
ahead I wanted to pick the best car
crashes okay and this one this one has
3.6 million views right here of 2017
well I'm gonna change this but I want to
use this video okay so I'm gonna click
on the video remember we showed this on
the left
applause that and so I'm gonna I'm gonna
highlight the URL we should probably
can't see but basically you just you
know the address have already high like
that you're gonna copy that remember the
free converter that I've talked to you
about clip converter
I left a link down below in the previous
video and I'll leave a link down below
for this one as well this is a free
video converter on your paste okay and
I'm gonna hit continue get out of there
now I've select what what do I want
1080p and this does convert in 1080p for
you just for this video sake I'm gonna
go to leave it on 720 and I'm gonna
click start okay now I'm going to
download this video so let's download
that let's see how quickly it downloads
you can see down here it's downloading
look it's done okay as you can see so
what I'm going to do is I'm going to
save this video top ten crashes of 2017
I'm gonna save it onto my desktop okay
there it is desktop so now that it's on
my desktop I'm going to open up Camtasia
and I'm gonna show you exactly what I do
to start editing these videos so check
this out okay guys I've got my Camtasia
account opened up my editing software is
opened up with a blank screen so I'm
going to show you step by step on how I
import the video remember I saved it to
my desktop okay after I downloaded it
with a free converter so I'm gonna go
over here if you see all these buttons
and you don't not to worry about a lot
of this stuff there's a lot of things
you can do with Camtasia this video is
not really about Camtasia but it is well
I do want to show you how I edit my
video so I'm gonna go to import media
right here okay so and remember it's on
my desktop so I'm gonna go to my desktop
okay and there it is top worst car
crashes so I'm gonna click on that
double-click it I could drag and drop it
if I want it to but now it is in my
Camtasia editing software so what I want
to do is I want to
bring this down I'm gonna click on it
and drag it down here
and then bring it down to this trap
track 1 okay I'm gonna drop it so now it
is down in that track now I'm gonna
shorten up this bar right here as you
can see let me just do it like this
I'm pretty decent at working with
Camtasia I'm not an expert but I've been
using it for a while so I've learned as
I've gone so as you can see if I were to
play this video right now that volume is
pretty loud hold on okay so as you can
see it has the intro it has everything
that you know downloaded every part of
the video exactly how it was downloaded
by the person who actually created the
video okay but I want my own intro and
I've had my own intro because remember
it's about branding yourself so if you
look at this first part of the video
this is this guy's intro right here see
that I want that gone okay
so what I can do is I'll let it play to
about right I could leave that there I
could change that also but I'm going to
leave it to about right there okay and
let's see I can backspace a little bit
here this is frame by frame by the way
to about right okay all right so to
about right there and I'm gonna delete
that intro so I'm gonna I'm going to
drag this here all the way to the end
there and then I'm gonna hit this
scissors right this to cut it okay so
that should work so if we play the video
there it is I shut the audio off so we
play the video there's the whole video
now I want to kind of go through the
before I start okay so I want to add my
own intro now I've got my own intro done
now this is something that's optional
you don't have to do this but I
recommend that you do okay so I'm gonna
go to my library and this is where I
have my intro okay which is right here
okay so now when people open this up
they're going to see my intro and then
it's going to lead them into the video
so here it is again I have the audio off
I'll turn it on here in a second but I
want you to see how I just dragged and
dropped now there's the video and it
goes right into the video so now I'm not
ready starting to change things okay so
well what a lot of people do also once
they do that step is okay so they start
you want to start maybe cutting pieces
out you can you can what a lot of people
do is they upload eight or ten different
crash videos okay
eight or ten and then they take those
videos and then they cut them up and
then they make their own videos but then
you'll have like three or four different
videos that you could put together with
those eight or ten video you can put
make eight or ten videos but you're just
mixing and matching clips of each video
and that's what a lot of people are
doing so it'll be different and then
when you have your logo on there as well
well guess what now that you now people
believe okay this guy created this video
because it's a little different than the
last one I saw or it's different you
know you may have similar clips that
you've seen from other videos maybe one
or two of them but there are a lot of
differences in each video if that makes
sense so so let's say I want it to
let's go to a piece here okay so here's
this video here okay so let's say I want
to do to cut that out I'm gonna let that
play for a second okay so I want to cut
this video up so I'm gonna back up her
frame by frame okay this is the previous
video that led into this one okay so
from here I'm going to I'm gonna want to
slice the video okay because I don't
want to I don't want to delete it
because I may want to use this clip okay
on the next video so I can easily delete
it like I just showed you I deleted a
section of the video but I might want to
you reuse this so I'm gonna hit slice
right here okay and see how that's
sliced that created a separation between
these two videos right there I just
sliced it okay now so now I'm gonna hit
play and boom
okay so that was the end of that video
so I want to slice that piece out that
one clip so let's backspace each frame
because this is a new video here there
it is so I'm gonna cut I'm gonna slice
this here as well there was one slice I
did right here as you can see okay
and then I'm gonna slice it right here
as well so I'm gonna hit slice right
there okay I'm gonna move this bar out
of the way and then I can take this
piece that I just sliced right here that
one clip okay and move it out of the way
okay
and I can save that I'm gonna bring it
over here okay so then I can just
squeeze these two together now I've got
my intro I've got the first clip and I I
sliced out that the second clip so it's
gonna go to the very next there it is
see how that's gone
so very easy to do very very easy to do
okay so it's pretty simple on how that
works especially if you have a good
editing software so again I put the
audio back on that shows you exactly how
you can edit slice a video okay
and you can do that numerous times and
then you see the clip that I just cut
out right here I can do that three or
four more times with this one video save
those clips
okay you know save them in a folder save
them on my desktop will create a folder
for clips and then put those clips
together create a second video you know
top ten worst crashes part two okay so
it so you see how you can make these
videos and and save them and create
these compilation videos okay so now
what okay I want to I want to add my
logo to this to this videos okay so he
here's my logo right here okay so I'm
gonna drag my logo over here okay I've
already created a logo this is something
that you can do on Fiverr you know you
can hire somebody to do it which is what
I did I did not create my own logo I
actually had somebody create it for me
so I'm gonna make it smaller and I
always like to leave it in a corner
somewhere I could leave it just like
that or I can maybe angle it a little
bit like that angle it this way okay so
so now the video is associated with me
and my brand which is tube TV so I'm
gonna come down here and now if I left
the logo the way it is and I hit play
it's only gonna play it's only going to
show the logo up to this point right
see this right here how do I make it
show throughout the whole video well I'm
gonna take this logo I'm going to grab
it right here and I'm going to drag it
all the way to the end of the video
right there okay so now as soon as I hit
play it will play it'll be right there
in the corner where I've left it
throughout the whole video as you can
see I'm going through the whole video
you still see my logo there okay as you
can see okay at the end of this video
there's an outro it looks like looks
like the the person who uploaded this
has an outro and let's take a look at
that real quick so we're gonna cut that
as well alright so it starts right there
or so so I'm going to go ahead and just
cut this video about right here I'm
gonna click right here right there and
I'm going to drag this and then I'm
gonna go ahead and cut that with a
scissors over here so now that piece is
gone so now the outro is gone guess what
I have my own little outro asking people
to subscribe and things so I'm gonna
grab it right here I've saved it and I'm
gonna drag it right over here and just
drop it right there
so now it's my logo my intro over here
and now my outro there it is okay so
that those are the basics of editing
your video okay now what's nice about
this software and the other software I'm
about to show you is that these allow
you to upload these videos directly to
YouTube so if let's say I was done and
I'm gonna show you one or two other
things but let's say I was done with
this video
okay I'm ready to upload it so I'm gonna
go to share and you see where it says
right there YouTube I'm gonna click on
YouTube
and there we go I can create the title
here I can put a tag and the description
if I want to make it public and then I
hit share and it goes right to this
YouTube channel that I want this video
to go to which makes it so easy with
Camtasia okay so anyway with that said I
wanted to show that to you so I
cancelled that so there are a couple
other things you can do here okay let's
say I wanted to separate the audio and
the video right here they're all both
into one as you can see right here okay
so I'm gonna move my logo up one okay
just so just so I can show you what what
we're doing here so I'm gonna go here
I'm gonna right click on this bar this
is audio and video together okay and
then it's gonna write it says separate
video and audio I want to click on that
now I have my video down here and my
audio is right here okay now why do I
want to do that let's say I wanted to
add I didn't want any anybody's speech
anything any audio to this video let's
say I didn't want I want to just have
some music in the background okay so
there are several places you can get
free license free videos I'm sorry uh
music and audio but Camtasia has a few
built in I'm just gonna show you that
okay so I'm going to delete the audio
here okay so I'm gonna just go ahead and
delete this whole audio track so now
it's gone so I bring my logo back down
so if I were to play this video now so
if I were to play this video
I didn't delete the audio of this one
little clip right here that we separated
so but i deleted it in the majority on
the biggest part of the of the video but
as you can see or here there's no audio
whatsoever okay so
why do you want to do that for a couple
reasons number one you want to make it
your own video you want to create your
own idea your own style okay the second
reason is some creative common videos
have clips in them that were created by
other people are pulled from other
videos that might not have been a
creative commons video if that makes
sense so I could have a creative commons
video that somebody posted and put in a
creative commons but some of the clips
that they pulled in to create that video
may have been a licensed video that you
did not have permission to use so what
that does is changes up the audio track
for recognition it won't let you
recognize it because it's not the same
audio track okay you've also changed up
the length of the video so YouTube will
recognize licensed videos by
audio-visual lengths all those things is
what red flags a video that isn't that
is not a Creative Commons video that
some people like to use which I don't I
don't recommend but some people that do
do that they change up the audio track
they change up the video they change up
the length of the video so it's not
recognized by YouTube as a copyrighted
video again I'm not promoting that I'm
telling you you should not do that
I use Creative Commons videos only for
my youtube channel but this one thing
right here can help you because it you
know it can take away maybe somebody's
talking in the background about the
video it's not your voice maybe
somebody's narrating the whole video
like check out this next video and buh
buh maybe you don't want that okay maybe
you just want music okay so you I can
come over to my library I'm sorry to
media there's a library here I have it
over here Camtasia so I have music
tracks right here
okay so I can listen to a couple of
let's say I think because it's a because
it's a car crash video I'm gonna use
more of a lot rock-and-roll music let's
listen to this yeah we're gonna use that
one okay so what do I do if I want to
use the gears of Steel it's pretty
simple okay I'm gonna bring I'm gonna
drag gears of Steel I'm gonna click on
that I'm gonna drag it down here right
there okay now it didn't go all the way
now these you cannot stretch across the
whole video so I'm just going to do it
again until I reach the end of video
there it is again and there it is again
and so forth okay and then I can always
I can always cut this part of it by the
way okay that's pretty easy as well but
if I play the video now okay let's come
here I got my logo I got my outro
[Music]
kind of a cool idea to put some music
with these crash videos especially
rocket romanization it's kind of like
you know exciting and like dangerous and
things like that and you know and the
music should match the video okay okay
so guys so that's a great way of editing
your video your audio tracks separating
the audio and video adding your own
logos and adding my own outro okay logos
and outro if you've if you're good at
making these yourself fantastic do it if
you if you need me I'm not good at that
so I had somebody from fiber do both the
logo and the outro it cost me like a
total of $20 so if you have 20 bucks to
spend go out there go to Fiverr
fiverr.com I'll leave a link down below
as well and then check that out okay now
with that said after I was gonna show
you the free editing software okay so
here it is right here it's called
hitfilm express it's FX dot coms forward
slash express and imma leave a link down
below but this is a free editing
software that every a lot of people use
this by the way I don't know if you can
you do 1080p but that's not necessary
for compilation videos you don't have to
have high-definition videos especially
if they're not high-def to begin with
there's no sense in up trying to upload
them in 1080p so you try this out again
I'll leave a link down below and and
then they're up there are many many
tutorials on how to use this software
I'm not going to go through it today
because I wanted to show you the
software that I actually use it I'm
pretty pretty familiar with in creating
my videos so there are gonna be some
another important
and full of tweaks that we're gonna need
to do to the video in this example right
here so I'm gonna save that for the very
next video if you have any questions

of the future and they're happening
right now a lot of people are doing them
and they're getting millions and
millions of views and that's how they're
monetizing with these videos you don't
have to make your own video that's the
beauty of this you use Creative Commons
videos you edit them a little bit and
you make a thumbnail and that'll be part
of the next video on how I get the
thumbnails or how I make the thumbnails
to show on my compilation videos so
that'll be big part of them because the
thumbnails are that important because
it's not an enticing engaging type of
thumbnail that makes people want to
click on it doesn't matter how great
your video is nobody's gonna watch it
because nobody clicked on that thumbnail
because it it wasn't exciting enough for
them to click on it okay so thumbnails
to me are one of the most important
things on any type of YouTube videos
whether it's compilation or your own
YouTube channel or whatever the case is
