Exactly how I rank my videos not only just on the first page of YouTube

but in some cases on the top ranked video and I don't have a

hundred thousand subscribers and in majority of the cases

I don't have a thousand or two
or ten thousand views on these videos

It's all about learning the YouTube algorithm and also using a tool

That I invested in to help me get those YouTube videos

Ranked the education that I've had with learning the YouTube algorithm learning, you know keywords SEO

Longtail keywords and also partnered with this tool that I invested in to help me rank the videos

I mean, it's the best combination that you can do

You need to educate yourself and to learn how you can rank

videos your video on YouTube because I'm an affiliate marketer and imagine the impact to my affiliate marketing business if I have a

Video promoting a product and I don't have a hundred thousand subscribers

Imagine the impact that I am gonna have on my business if I can get my video

Ranked on the very first page of YouTube

I don't have to have a hundred thousand subscribers if I get enough views on the video and people see value in my video

They're gonna click on that link

I left in the description to try out the product that I'm promoting or to try out the program that I'm currently working with

So without any of the delay, I'm gonna show you some proof actually of that

I have two or three videos that are ranked on the very first page of YouTube. So we're gonna start with an incognito window now

Incognito wouldn't know basically it just clears. It doesn't know who I am. I'm not gonna be logged in

I was gonna I'm just gonna go into YouTube and

I'm gonna show you are the videos that I've created

Promoting

Products promoting my affiliate products one of the affiliate programs. I started promoting back in March was Liam James Kay's?

Liam James K himself. His video is ranked number one with three point seven thousand views

my video is ranked second, and I only have

435 views keep in mind Liam J's K has almost 30,000 subscribers. I have 36 hundred subscribe 3 700 subscribers

So it just goes to show that you don't have to have a huge YouTube channel

You don't have to have a bunch of subscribers to get your videos ranked on YouTube

on the first page now if I add the word review

Look at that I'm ranked number one. I'm ranked first on

YouTube for that those that particular keywords six-figure affiliate bootcamp review

Ok, so that's the first video. I wanted to show you

So the other video I wanted to show you is digital income system, which is a high ticket affiliate program

I'm gonna type in digital. I'm still in incognito window right now digital digital

So as you can see

Jeff releases a video with one point four thousand views is

ranked number one my video with six hundred and sixty-six views is ranked number two and

Again, this person's video has 1.8

Thousand views it's been on YouTube longer. This one has three thousand views. It's been on for a week

This one has two point six thousand views been on longer and there I am again with another review on that

But my point is that I have been able to figure out how to rank videos on YouTube

by making sure on

Every video that I create I do the same thing

and I'm gonna go over that here in a second and the last video I wanted to show you is a

Current system that I am currently involved with. It's called high ticket

And let's go to review and look at that. I'm ranked number one on YouTube for that video as well. I have 758 views

I loaded it up a week ago

Okay, this person three weeks ago Josh elder. Who's the actual?

Creator of the system who is my mentor. He's got one point two thousand views

He loaded this up a month ago, and and I'm actually out ranking him as well. So let's get out of incognito

Let's talk about exactly what I'm doing and what I recommend which is obviously working for me

The first thing you have to understand is you have to have a good quality video

Your content has to be good

because the main thing that keeps you ranked no matter how quickly you can get ranked on YouTube is

People watching watch time keeps your video ranked higher

So so if the algorithm knows that you're your viewers are watching your videos longer and they're staying on YouTube longer

They're gonna help rank that video. They're gonna help promote your video for you

So your quality of video and the content and the value that you provide

Imperative. You've got to have great quality and I'm not just talking about video quality audio quality the technical stuff I'm talking about

Good content, you know the core of video has to be really good content. I've had some really good videos

I've put out and I've had some videos that I wish I would have done up better

So if you go into it with a mindset that hey I'm gonna make sure I make this the best quality

Video I can as far as content goes then you're increasing your chances doubling them

Just based on watch time because when people find your video and they realize what great content you provided them and great value

They're gonna watch it longer and then more and more people are gonna continue watching it longer

And of course algorithm is gonna know that and start helping you rank your videos

So that's the first thing make sure you have quality content

so the second thing

that I do that I would highly recommend everybody does is that is your titling it so I so I

Always use that my keywords as the first words of my title for instance

Okay, and if you look at my description here and my title high ticket affiliate accelerator review

Okay a look inside

2019. So what I always do is the first thing I do is I copy my title and I put that I paste

It in in the first line of the description because it completely replicates my title

So by doing this I'm helping the YouTube algorithm

Rank my video because I'm telling them that I am talking about a program called high ticket affiliate accelerator

And I'm doing a review on it and then I repeat it in the actual description here

and then when I write out my description

I always try to find a way to include that title again or in some form

So in this case in this high ticket accelerator review, there it is

I dive into the back-office look inside

Look at how the newly launched system by Josh children show all the training available and the incredible high ticket strategy

No one else is doing this is definitely a Philly Philly at marketing for the beginners at its best

Well, guess what affiliate marketing for beginners as another keyword that I included in my description

YouTube puts more importance on the very first words of the title

Then it does any other words in any in any part of the description. I mean, so that's why I always use my

keywords as the first words of my title and then I

include that in the description as well and then in when I

Describe the video in my little write-up or a paragraph here. I try to include it once again

so be sure that the keywords that you want to rank for are the first words in the title of your video and

in the title of your description so we know how important watch time is because watch time is what's going to

Continue your keep your video ranked on YouTube, but if you can't get people to click on your video

You're not gonna get the watch time that you need no matter how great the video is

so the importance of a good thumbnail in my opinion is probably

the most important thing because

You got to remember your thumbnail is what's gonna get people to

Click on that video. So it has to be a really engaging if you look at the thumbnails I've had here

I've actually done a video on how to create

Thumbnails for free step-by-step. I do a tutorial

I'll leave a link here on the screen and also attack so you can click on that

But that was great

now when I first started my YouTube challenge

You can go down here. I've done I've done it for about a year. Now as you can see I

Was making my own thumbnails at first right here as you can see

They weren't that great. Okay, and as I progressed in my youtube journey, and I started learning more and more

I got a little better with my thumbnails as you can see, they're not so all over the place here

They're a little more colorful. They kind of pop out then I decided I wanted to take it to a whole new level

So I actually started paying

professionals on Fiverr

To start creating these thumbnails as you can see now they got so much better as with these sums

Very professional and that has actually helped me rank more of my videos. And yes, there's an investment involved

But you can get three or four three three thumbnails or five thumbnails

You can get like two or three thumbnails for five bucks

If you find the right person you can get five thumbnails for twenty bucks

You know

There's some there's some guys on there that are that are really good that I've used

That really want to make a name for themselves on Fiverr

So they're willing to work with me and you know what? I've spent a lot of money on Fiverr creating these thumbnails

So now that I have a reputation

Amongst the Fiverr community that hey this guy's from serious and he buys fun nails almost every day more than one

Then they start working with me. So

but you can see the level of thumbnail quality has

Obviously improved ever since I started using

Professionals to create my thumbnail. So if you have a budget

Invest in your thumbnails if you don't want to create them on your own like I said

I referred to a video where I showed you how you can make those thumbnails step by step if that's your of course. Fantastic

Start off with that, but if you have a budget if you have let's say twenty dollars a week that you can spend

My advice to you is to invest in a good quality

Gig provider on Fiverr where they can actually create an impressive thumbnail like they have for me here for the last several months

so your thumbnail is super important in in helping you get your videos ranked because without that engaging

Thumbnail about getting the click-through rate into your videos

You're not gonna get the view time and the watch time to help rank those videos

So if we go back into one of the videos that I did like this one

Which is one of the examples I showed you earlier. I'm gonna open this up

the other thing I wanted to show you is this that I also

Include other videos right here after my affiliate links

and after I asked people to subscribe

I include other videos here for people for my viewers to click on

So after they're done with this video they can maybe click on this video

and watch something else on how to make money online or whatever the subject is that they're looking for and

What that does is a couple of things the first thing it does it lets YouTube know that you're keeping people on the YouTube platform

You're trying to if they click they watch your video and then they click on one of these links that you've left in your description

And watch another one of your videos the algorithm knows that it's gonna help rank those videos

It's also going to help promote your videos because YouTube's gonna put them in the suggested box on the side as you see

When you open up your YouTube channel, you're keeping people on the YouTube platform

They're watching it your videos much longer so that watch time goes up

So you're actually helping yourself and helping YouTube to rank your videos, basically

So I highly suggest that you put some other videos that have to do with the same

Subject matter that your videos about that they're currently watching

Put those links in the description so that they can continue

Watching YouTube videos, but hopefully they'll continue watching your YouTube videos. That's the whole point of putting your links there

So now obviously tags are super important. Okay. Now this tool that I told you about earlier helps me

Select the right tags for the actual video and the keywords that I'm trying to rank for

But see how the I use as many tags as possible and I'll use almost all

500 possibilities because I'm trying to use all the tools and all the advantages

Available to me through the YouTube system to help rank my videos. So tags are super important

So the tool that I use to help me rank my videos and it help me

Give me enough all the data that I need to really have an advantage

Over the competition out there who have videos with the same subject that I'm promoting

I use too buddy. So if you look here I'm gonna open up to buddy

I'm gonna give you some examples of two buddy. Okay, and I'm a pro. I purchased the actual tube, buddy

So they have a free version. I'll leave a link down below

So you can try it out but it's been one of the best investments I've ever made for my youtube channel. Ok

So the first thing I do is I go keyword explorer. Okay

Now if I do a video like let's say today's video on on how to rank your videos on YouTube

and it's gonna give me data and information on how

strong that those keywords are and how

Easy, it would be for a channel my size and how much competition is out there with similar videos so it gets all this data

And it ranks the keywords whether it's a good idea to use those keywords or not

so if I started with how to rank

your

YouTube

Videos, okay

there's the first suggestion I'm gonna select that and if you look at the unweighted ranking its fair and

Basically, all that means is in the YouTube world. Okay. It says although this keyword is searched often

It is not a great

It is not great to target because it's very competitive and would be hard to rank for it's giving you the information

Right there. That's what unweighted means, okay

Click on the weighted tab above to see how your specific channel will likely perform with this keyword. So there's two different

Gauges here one in the actual YouTube universe and one in your small universe of your YouTube channel

So if I click weighted it's even worse

the score above is specific to your channel based on how many views your videos tend to get at your

Chances and ranking in these search results. So it has all this information

To let me know that I do not want to use how to rank your YouTube videos

I don't want to use that because it's it's a poor choice. It'll be too hard for me to rank

Especially somebody with a small channel like myself

now if I had

500,000 subscribers I wouldn't worry too much about that. I'm gonna get the views trust me because you have all these subscribers

I don't so what do we do? Well, we can change this up a little bit. Let's say videos

Let's click on this on how to rank YouTube videos fast

Alright I'm weighted as 68 that's good anything I think above like 55 or 60 is really good and tells you it's very good

Let's look at weighted them that's in the YouTube universe. So basically it tells you there's a set point three four million

number of videos in the search results

So it says there is a little bit of competition but this keyword is searched so often it's worth targeting

How about it on my particular channel? It's just as good. Okay, so that's actually a really good keyword to use

about how to rank

YouTube videos

Click on that

Super poor weighted and unweighted. That was it. That's like the worst key

Those are the worst keyword but the nice thing about to buddy is that you can it'll give you other suggestions

Boom see all these other suggestions. How about how to rank YouTube videos on first page? Just click on that?

Okay unweighted that's no fair and

Weighted that's fair or you can change this to how to rank

Your

YouTube videos

First page let's try that

Look at that. That's for my channel weighted is seventy. That's very good. Let's look at unweighted in the YouTube universe

Look at that 73, that's perfect. Keyword to rank for that's exactly what I'm gonna be using for this particular video

Here's the other nice thing about tube buddy. It gives you results. Who who is your competition?

Look at this

It shows you the videos that are ranked number one two and three out there

So I'm gonna be competing with think media. They have like I don't know million subscribers

I'm gonna be competing with the run guys with YouTube advice and these guys he has 40,000 views seventy thousand one hundred and ninety

thousand views but

They are ranking for rank YouTube videos and first page

Okay, so I'm gonna be doing how to rank your YouTube videos first page

So I'm gonna be competing with them, but based on this summary right here

this is a very good keyword to rank for in the YouTube universe and

Within my channel based on how many views your videos tend to

The chances of rank in this search results along with standard unweighted factors are very good

So you can see how powerful this tool is

I mentioned tags earlier this tool also gives me the suggestion on tags how to rank your YouTube videos

This shows me the most used tags from the top ranking videos. So how to rank your YouTube videos is 50%

Youtube SEO is 40% and so on and so on. So this helps me with tagging my videos ok, so

Remember guys great content. You got to have great content your description your title

Has to be with your keyword that you're targeting to rank and make sure you include those keywords

within the description

and I always include it as the first line of my description and then I go into my little

Paragraph my written out paragraph of the actual video, which I also try to include those keywords within that paragraph

Remember thumbnails are super imperative super important

Highly recommend if you can outsource it do it and of course if you want to try out to buddy
