in this video I thought I'd just do a

quick and easy video on how to update

the wounds own plugin it's something

that everyone needs to do if they're

running an Amazon affiliate scientists

using wasone generally the biggest cause

of problems is that you're running an

out-of-date version of the plug-in and

by updating the plug-in you kind of

magically fix all those problems so

let's do it

you're all well so as I said this is

just a quick video on how to update the

wounds own plugin it's something you

need to do you can't run the auto update

on wounds own you have to do it manually

so let's get on the computer this update

which is an Amazon affiliate website

that I created in a tutorial quite some

time ago and in fact since then this

site has been a little bit neglected

I'm not been giving it much love and in

fact any today that I've come over to

take a look at it and I see that the

products have all gone which is a

problem and everything's out a day and

it just yeah needs a little bit of

attention which is fine I thought it'd

be good opportunity to show you guys how

to update Woo's own the exciting thing

with the latest version of wasone is

that they've got extra support for this

very theme flat 'some so if you are

running flat 'some and you want blue

zone to work better with it so I'm

thinking maybe image size is that kind

of thing you know what I'm talking about

if you have those forms then you're

gonna want to update so let's do that

now I want to keep this short and sweet

so let me stop rambling on let's get on

with it okay so I'm logged in what I'm

gonna do first is I'm actually just

gonna remove the wounds own that I've

got installed basically that's the

process that we're gonna be going for so

we're going to remove what we've got and

then we're gonna install the new one

pretty straightforward simple as that

and everything should be intact

including our settings so if you've got

this little message on your Woo's own

new updates that means that yeah you

need to update now the problem with with

kind of wound zone is that it doesn't

have an auto update feature you can't

just click a button and update it so I

know a few of you been confused with

that you kind of run your WordPress

updates in here kind of hoping that

Woo's own has been updated too but it

doesn't work like that unfortunately you

have to do it manually which is yeah bit

of a nightmare

so yeah I'm only nine point zero point

two point one five under latest one is

nine point zero point free which is

which is good

so let's do it so let's remove it I'm

gonna go into plugins installed plugins

it says you should do it back up and

stuff books will be fine you may want to

do it back up possibly don't know how to

do that then just search the channel got

a few videos on making it back up but

generally I'm not at a problem doing

this this update so we should be fine so

here's what I'm going to do active 8 it

and then I'm going to delete okay what

it's doing that I'm going to put another

tab I'm gonna head over to code Canyon

I'm gonna go into my downloads and then

I'm gonna just filter it by market pace

gonna select Canyon then there's my

Woo's own there I'm gonna click download

all files stick it in the Downloads

that's fine then when it has downloaded

I'm just gonna have a look at it on my

computer there it is I'm gonna extract

it and there's the folder I've actually

got a few because I'm always downloading

ones own but yeah it creates a folder

with the version number so today it's

nine point zero point six point six

within that folder there is another

folder called plug-in and then within

there there is the was own dot zip which

is the file that we're going to be

uploading so back to the site let's see

it's finished it's deleted was own we've

got no Woo's own right now I'm gonna go

to add new now even though we have

deleted was own the settings and all

that class stuff should still be on our

computer or not on a computer on our

server in the database in fact of

WordPress so we should be fine in terms

of keeping settings so I'm going to go

into that folder nine point zero point

six point six yours will probably be a

different number depends when you're

watching this video into the plug-in

folder and I'm going to select whose own

zip and open it's basically same as when

you originally installed it that's what

we're doing they're just installing it

so that's just uploading they take a

moment or two

okay that's done mystic activate

okay now we've got in the later version

9.0 0.66 and I'm guessing what my

settings are there and it's have a look

goodness scroll down very slowly huh yep

there's an access key there so that's

all good I'm gonna show you anymore

because I don't like blurry stuff how is

too much hard work so that's that's it

all done now these messages at the top

they're not to do with where we don't

need to do with WooCommerce and the

theme it says that I've got some

out-of-date template files generally

this is nothing to worry about but if

you keep your theme up-to-date then then

you'll be fine and these messages should

go away I'll do some other videos on

updating themes that kind of thing but

for now that's it we're all updated

should do which is you know making you

some money and all that kind of stuff if
