to me this morning from someone that
I've been chatting to these are people
who are succeeding with Shopify and it's
very common we know the stuff works I
get messages obviously we do my own
stores of this product here in
particular last year are 2016 yeah 2016
this product the particular made over
$100,000 listed very very well I'm from
a fire I don't sell it now but this is

and this video I want to talk about the
people who are struggling and why you're
probably failing at this econ of Shopify
drop shipping thing I get you know I get
the good messages people show me their
earnings you know thanks this is amazing
it's helping me out all the sort of good
stuff then I get the one thing people
are struggling I'm doing this wrong I
don't know what I'm doing wrong I don't
know what's going on here something
wrong with my ex and it's Facebook
doesn't like me all of this stuff so
we've talked about a few things that are
holding you back from your Shopify
journey if you have started this or if
you're thinking of starting this so I'm
gonna jump straight into it and problem
number one and before we talk about
problem number one you need to
understand that there's a few steps in
your Shopify process to success the
first step is testing products and then
finding winner and scaling and then once
you've scaled out you've got a
particular one-off with the stuff on my
hands right here I've been playing
around my cart and that is grease so we
have I can see it on the camera so
that's the process you find products set
up that work for you you scale them out
then you have our list of people who've
purchased Add to Cart you have email
marketing campaigns after that and you
build a business right pretty
straightforward but the problem number
one is people don't do enough testing at
the start your your main goal your main
focus point when you first start a store
is to not worry about all the fleshy
stuff not worry about like
dialing down to like the particularly
specific products your goal is to find
products
his test his test okay test one two
three a day just test test test and he
will eventually get one that works and
yes it's gonna cost you money that
that's how it does it cost a cost money
to make money you need to spend money to
make money but what's happening guys is
a lot of people are going into la
experience cuz this is what you've been
taught it's not your fault don't worry
you've been taught this way you go into
la express you find the product and you
go out there and you try to advertise
that product it's not working not
working you keep to the advertiser you
keep coming advertising you stick to
that one product over and over again
and it simply doesn't work the product
simply doesn't work you do everything
you try PP you first and then you go and
website conversions you try to be
targeting you try images you try videos
and nothing you can do is getting any
sales or minimum ourselves not making
any profit it's because you're not
testing guys your first stage is test
test test
that is the key to success because once
you once you've tested a product our
bunch of products and you've found a
winner and you you brought up your
custom audiences your email list it
becomes easier guys it just goes up and
up and up and up
they say that product burns out in about
a month or two well then you've got
custom audiences you can go find a
similar product product and retag a bet
to the people that are viewed the
original product but that's one of the
probably is probably the main thing I
see people doing that tech depth on
Leiter's real bright but I head to him a
bright because when I got this did it
cut out
oh would I have the white screen up so
I'm getting distracted here when I have
the white screen up yeah it goes dark
but then it comes back so I might put it
down in a second
because that light is really bright and
on the screen see anyway guys backs what
I'm saying so that's kind of the number
one reason the number two reason guys is
following people sortie what I mean by
that is a lot of gurus and people like
myself we give out these methods so when
they do PPU first from second version
and this and that and what happened
those people follow these methods
exactly expecting results now you should
get results from these methods these
methods of work
there with other people but sometimes
you you won't so what you have to do is
instead of following everything exactly
you have to figure out your own stuff
you have to do your own methods now this
comes to like these guys that are
messaging me especially this guy here
today Ryan um if you want to get my
attention and PM's do what he did he get
proach me sit Frank and this is what I'm
gonna do this we're gonna do this but
I'm gonna do he had no intention of
following anybody else he did his own
method he had a method with me yesterday
I'm not gonna share it's not my business
and it's clearly working for him it's
his own personal method that he's never
shared so that's what you guys need to
do you need to dive in and just figure
stuff out for yourself like I get a lot
of questions or it's like Franklin I did
listen I don't work I followed this guy
and that's not working I did exactly
what this guy did it's not working what
should I do can you help me I can't help
you because you need to figure that
stuff out all of these methods are one
free ones paid ones are guidelines for
you so using guidelines and what these
guidelines do is they point you in the
right direction and then you figure
stuff out from there like you know what
I want to get quite compact consistently
is should i duplicate my head says well
I I don't know because although I
duplicate some of mine and they worked
I'm talking about duplicating the scale
up there might not work for you some
niches I'm going to it doesn't work and
I want to have to scale up my winning
head sit and just not bother duplicating
um Facebook the algorithm is different
for everybody guys so that's reason
number two okay try not to follow
everything step by step because first of
all a lot of the stuff is outdated now a
lot of my old videos are outdated a lot
of these methods are now outdated but
you're still watching them and these
were out a year ago guys and so what
you're doing is you're watching videos
then every year old and used to work
back then and now there's been updates
there's been facebook updates those
methods can be saturated there's all
sorts of reasons why you shouldn't be
using those methods anymore but they are
guidelines so I try to keep my stuff
updated consistently but a lot of my
older older free stuff is a little bit
updated the same with a lot of other
people let's reason number two so number
one is not testing enough guys that will
cause you to fail from from the get-go
like from the start that will cause you
to fail and you don't need to test on
huge budgets you can jump in and test
three products are down five dollars a
day
I recommend ten dollars plus but you can
do that ten dollars a day five dollars a
day if you like and the second one is
trying to follow method step by step
especially outdated old methods okay how
do you know that out there they're
outdated what you do is you look at the
date of the video you're watching and
you go and see when the last Facebook or
Google update was okay whether it be the
Google search engine Google paid traffic
Facebook paid traffic Pinterest paid
traffic and you go and see when the last
up there was if the video was before
that update it's pretty much outdated
because a lot changes in updates now the
videos are still relevant the videos to
help you succeed the videos to help you
you know starting but the chances of
them being outdated after a facebook
update or something is very highly
likely because a lot changes and updates
a lot changes and updates guys so that's
a good way to tell if the videos for
videos outdated see when that was Ambler
see when it was posted and then see when
the last updates were okay and there's
been a mess of updates into all of my
last videos but they do help don't get
me wrong they're still getting people
started in this game now guys I'm issue
number three is very important once you
have a store that you're getting sales
right you need to be doing stuff like
upsells bundles retargeting is huge okay
I'll give the screenshot up here thirty
thousand dollars I don't know off the
top of my head I think was thirty
thousand dollars made after spinning
seven hundred okay and another one
recently was I think eight thousand
dollars after spinning about 500 guys
retargeting is massive and then in other
words email marketing email marketing is
basically free money and what I want to
do guys right now is get something up
for you from my private group this is
not my free group I'll get something up
for you real quick and come back okay so
here we are and this is why I left here
the thing up on the the lineup this is
an email example that I got sent from
one of my competitors and what it says
is correct
gratulations Franklin you just won $5
credit hi there is a special thank you
we decided to give up five dollars and
store credits or small group of our
customers as a fair competition no one
won $5 but what did it do it got me to
open the email for a start because I was
like I want something today really what
did I win I did this email here probably
got well over 50% open rates I opened it
up then they gave me a coupon to get $5
off storewide so what does it do if I go
to this store and purchase stuff now I
obviously didn't in this case they
didn't need to but it guys by the way
see those watches yes I sell those this
is my computer that mechanical watches
they sell really well ok so this this
one in particular and that's no secret
most people know I sell these anyway so
this one in particular caught my eye so
I posted it on my private group and
check out what happened Charlie Charlie
said just copied this now the sales
already started coming in you can see
that or let it focus let it focus and
then at the bottom I was like nice and
then he said I'll try get this up
haven't been sending a lot of emails to
my list just literally copied what you
posted it looks like I'm going to have
one of those days okay now listen large
this $700 he I hit him up afterwards and
he made an extra four hundred US dollars
yesterday and of the day wasn't even
over from email marketing then he never
that he'd normally doesn't do meant an
extra $400 guys plus from sending out
one email so these are the three
mistakes that people do right and it
like they come into the shop of a game
and they think it's easy you go out
there you you put some ads up you get
sales and that's all you do know most of
the money is actually made in the back
end was the upsells was the email
marketing with the retargeting with the
branding that you do later on with the
customer relations you have you need to
have good customer service so they keep
coming back
to sing-off you so if you're not doing
these three things if you're not testing
if you're not armed what was the other
one I answered sorry if you're going out
and I'm copying everyone exactly not
testing your own methods and if you're
not doing email marketing up selves
bundles to create an more long-term
value from your customers your one
probably 99% chance of failing on
Shopify because this my friends I'm
telling you the hot cold hard truth here
is a business this isn't a
get-rich-quick scheme this is the
business and you are competing with
everybody else I have over 40,000 people
subscribed to this channel most of them
are subscribed from my subway videos now
a large portion of those people probably
don't even and even online anymore they
most of them just subscribe because I've
seen my stuff but a large portion that I
also have a 30,000 people my Facebook
group a large portion of them are doing
exactly what you're doing
so you're all competing against each
other we're all competing against each
other I'm out there selling stuff you're
out there selling stuff so essentially
we're competitors so what we need to do
guys is let's do this stuff you need to
send out your emails and that's really
like I don't need to repeat myself like
I usually do but that's what you need to
do guys okay so if you're failing at
Shopify I suggest you test at least
three products a day okay and do not get
stuck on a product just test it doesn't
work in a few days
cut it just cut it if you're getting
shitty stats if you're not getting any
sales just cut it and move on to another
product or even another niche okay
sickened don't get too caught up and
trying to follow everyone's and methods
especially outdated methods exactly how
you exactly how they're laid out okay do
your own methods do your like if someone
says you should do if you can't first go
and do get the cup first go and do
purchase this because every single niche
is different every single ad account is
different here's a bit of a test
actually I have a lot of that accounts I
had a really really seasoned ad account
that you know got pretty good cost and
stuff right and then what I did was
actually did a test I started another
store with a new ad account a new pixel
say
product the new ad account performed a
hell of a lot better than my season one
and it still performs better today it
just performs better don't know why it
gets cheaper costs my other one doesn't
maybe I mixed up some mixed up some
pixel data on the old one I don't know
but every accounts different every pixel
is different every store is different
every person trying to do this is
different everybody everything is
different and I know you sitting here in
a different different taste is different
different taste is if you want to build
a business that's what you have to do is
just test and a lot of things is
different you have to accept that and
and you have to just do think outside
the box guys like Ryan if you're
watching us make congratulations they're
doing very well you know I've been
talking to Ryan for a long time over six
months now just on and off we just check
the Sun look Franklin made five hundred
bucks today look I meant a thousand
bucks today or him now Paul this isn't
working you know I'm gonna do this now
and he the reason he's different
everybody else guys is good he thinks
outside the box he doesn't follow
everybody else I see a myth that he's
doing now I'm not gonna talk about it
but it's crazy it's something I would
have I would never do my stuff it goes
against all of the Facebook's rules all
of the Facebook's editions it goes
against everything every other gurus
ever said but it works for him okay but
it works for him that's working very
very well and he's scaling up very very
quickly okay guys so that's it for this

you guys out because a lot of you guys
are struggling with the Shopify stuff
and you get pissed off because you see
all of these other people succeeding and
I get it okay and you don't understand
how they're succeeding and the thing is
guys piston that's that that's the
number one critical thing that most
people fail at if you're not testing
multiple products you're gonna fail
yourself a fire right guys so I'll see
