Do you remember when I got robbed not too long ago?

(glass breaking)

Yeah, that didn't feel really good.

But something great happened out of it.

I shared that story on YouTube.

WeWork reached out to me.

WeWork is a co-working space that...

They have locations all around the world.

And my brand new studio where I'm gonna be filming

and doing a lot of podcasting

is at the WeWork here in San Diego

and I wanna take you inside and show you around.

Let's go.

WeWork is a really amazing solution

for what I need right now

because not only does it offer office space

that I can use for video and podcasting,

but what's really cool is that they have a lot

of other amenities like conference rooms

and of course, free coffee,

and other things that come with the membership.

And I can even host workshops

and other meetings here too.

Plus I get to connect with a lot

of other entrepreneurs that are here and most importantly,

related to the break in last time,

there's really good security here.

So I don't think I have to worry (chuckles)

so much about my stuff getting stolen again.

So I have one of the office spaces here

along with a lot of other businesses of entrepreneurs

and I'm excited to bring you in,

so here is the office.

And here it is. (echo)

Obviously, not done yet,

and we haven't even started.

But, over the next number of videos

you're going to see this space transform

into the ultimate podcasting,

live-streaming video studio.

Now this space is, number one,

very echoey, and I'll get to that in just a minute.

but size-wise, it's about 10-feet wide

and about 17-feet deep.

So 170-square-feet.

About the rough size of a normal person's bedroom.

We're definitely downsizing from the last office,

which was about 960-square-feet.

Which is not a bad thing,

because when you think about that old space,

it had a conference room,

it had a break room.

Well guess what?

WeWork has all of those things too.

So we're just building the ultimate,

sort of office area for our direct needs

for the content that we're creating.

So what's gonna happen here?

Well obviously, we need to build-out this space.

And your gonna see every part of it.

We're also very thankful to have connected

with a number of other companies

who've also wanted to support

with this office's transformation,

including (pop) Audimute,

who is supporting us with a lot of echo

and soundproofing related things

which we'll talk about in the later video

that you don't want to miss

especially if you're a podcaster or doing any video.

Also, (pop) Heil,

who's supporting us with a number

of microphone and podcasting related things.

Then we've got (pop) Roland

who let us borrow VR-1HD Auto Switcher,

which we're gonna use in our livestreams

and some of our videos and podcasting efforts too.

And then we bought a bunch of stuff

like tripods. (pop) Whoa.

And lights (pop).

And of course we got all of the equipment

from the old office,

like computer stuff and then monitors (pop)

and new computer equipment

that we need for the space that we're building.

It's gonna be epic.

Also, just all of the random crap

that was there from the old space. (pop)

And of course I can't forget the hoverboards. (pop)

All right, now we've got all the things that we need.

And now we just need to start building.

But the truth is that you can't take a DeLorean

and go back into time.

And no, hoverboards don't exist yet.

But the truth is that you get to create

and write your own future.

And I'm thankful to have connected

with a lot of great companies like WeWork.

And again, we talked about a partnership earlier.

'cause we're doing some fun stuff together.

It's not just about me getting this space.

And yes, I'm still paying for it.

But we have a lot of other fun things planned

with these other companies that are supporting.

We've got a lot of great things to share with you.

But the most important thing is to realize

that you are under control.

And you have the ability to make great

out of any situation that happens.
