in this video I'm gonna go over some
keyword research stuff now you probably
notice if you've watched a few of these
videos I'm in a different spot now I'm
I'm in a Residence Inn by Marriott it
seems fine you know there's a like
generic sort of kitchen stuff there's a
- little burner stove and some you know
corporate art it seems fine there's
these you know nice lamps everything is
is fine I'll tell you what's awesome
this lighting coming in through the
window it's it's solid like I would pay
good money for this now the thing is
it's it's snowing out there and my view
is terrible I'm looking at like a
rooftop covered with snow but it turns
out this lighting is beautiful mixed me
look like ten years younger and I mean
my hair is growing back at everything
but all right now we're just digressing
but let's get into the actual reason
we're here is keyword research and free
keyword research I'm gonna go over the
keyword golden ratio or kg are you may
see it written all over the place and a
free keyword research tool that you can
use to find kgr terms so let's get to
that you're gonna find keywords that you
could rank in google with basically no
backlinks if so keep watching I'll tell
you about the keyword golden ratio like
the exact formula and then I'll show you
a demo now before I show you the demo
and get into the details there is a
spreadsheet that makes it a lot easier
it's free I'll put a link to it below
the keyword golden ratio the keyword
golden ratio is a data-driven way to
find keywords that basically are
underserved on the internet the formula
that makes up the keyword golden ratio
goes like this
so the kgr I'll just call it that the
kgr
equals the number of all in title
results divided by the local monthly
searches where right so this is
important the local monthly searches
need to be below 250 and the all in
title results it's actually pretty easy
to find so all in title is an advanced
Google search command
you just go to the search bar you type
in all entitles all one word : and then
you enter in your keyword phrase usually
it's you know several words long you
don't use any quotes or anything like
that you'll get some number of results
hopefully it's not that many now the
ratio that you're looking for is less
than 0.25 so if you take the pollen
title number of results and divided by
the local monthly search volume and that
equals 0.25 or less then you're in good
shape that's a keyword golden ratio @kg
are compliant keyword and here's the
magic right if you publish a piece of
content it's kgr compliant then it
should rank in the top 50 maybe even 30
within a few hours of being indexed I
mean this works really well and is
really a supply and demand situation
what you're finding is a situation where
there are more searches per month for a
particular term than there are pages on
the internet that actually target that
term now I've told you the concept of
the keyword golden ratio but now I'm
going to show you a real demo I'm gonna
use a tool called keywords everywhere
and I'm just gonna show you exactly how
I would find a keyword golden ratio
phrase so let's look at it right now and
don't forget I have a spreadsheet that
you can get that makes this a lot easier
so you don't have to do the calculations
manually and you can do it in bulk so be
sure to check out the link in the
description a lot of people asked about
how to actually find these keywords it's
a little tough you do have to do this
all manually but I'll get you a head
start I'll show you a sample so I'll
just show you straight up how I go
through the process and you could
develop your own but this is a good
starting point we're focusing on raisers
so I would maybe just type in best razor
for shaving and then I would hit the
spacebar to see what the auto suggests
is so here there are a few autosuggest
there are some some more interesting
ones but we'll just stick with something
no shaving your head it's the best razor
for shaving head and we see that's like
a thousand searches per month
interesting and by the way this little
bit of information here that's from a
plugin free plugin called keywords
everywhere you can look it up it's very
helpful so this is one aspect we can see
that you know that's an interesting
product now what I like to do at this
point because a thousand searches of
course is too much for the keyword
golden ratio we're looking for a local
monthly search volume of 250 or less so
I'm just going to go all the way down to
the bottom we see some related searches
for shaving your head so there's a lot
of different options here that you can
go through and keywords everywhere does
give you the keyword volume for these as
well okay so this is a good source down
here these related searches it's in the
the niche it's in the topic very closely
related in keywords everywhere shows you
ones that you should take a look at here
so these are pretty good overall but I'm
gonna go ahead and scroll back up and
say bald cuz again that's what I know is
170 searches per month well that's in
the range that we're looking for great
so at this point I need to check the all
in title because you remember the
formula you don't go back and watch the
video I'll tell you real quick it's the
all in title results divided by the
local monthly search volume so when we
check the all in title best razor for
shaving head bald we see that there are
fifteen results here great so if we do
the math 15 divided by one seventy we
get point zero eight eight which is less
than 0.25 so that is perfect we're in
the range for the keyword golden ratio
that's awesome and I'll point out real
quick some people are gonna say hey the
search volume here is zero what does
that mean
well not that many people virtually no
people search for all in title in this
so the search volume for this specific
advanced search string is zero so you
don't need to worry about that that's
totally okay this here best razor for
shaving head bald that's a great keyword
