had always Alex here from WP eagle just
a real quick video today so quick in
fact that I'm not gonna do the usual
intro and all that kind of stuff just
going to jump straight into it so a
regarding the Kingdom theme and adding
blog posts and you've noticed that some
of your images are not aligning
correctly this one for example should be
right aligned with the text wrapping
around it and we can see that it's not
doing that the text is being pushed down
below it but then weirdly if we go to
this image this one has aligned
correctly it's on the right and the text
is wrap around so what's going on well
it's a sort of bug or something within
Kingdom and it just needs fix him with a
little bit of CSS code which is what I'm
gonna do right now so the difference
between these two images is that this
one has got a caption so when you add a
caption you get this nice frame and also
you get the caption however when you do
add a caption it doesn't align properly
it breaks it whereas this one doesn't
have a caption and it's aligned
correctly so first off I'm going to add
a caption to this one just so that we're
clear on what captions are I think
they're pretty cool I see lets you add a
bit of text underneath your image kind
of what you'd expect I guess from a
caption so let's go down to the swimming
image you just click on your Ridge you
click Edit and there's a box that
appears at the top here we can add a
caption so you know dog is dogs moat
swimming is a great way to exercise your
dog but it's not for all dogs pretty sad
dog too many times in that sentence
behavior will go with that okay so let's
update so that's a caption if you didn't
know Adam if you like it if you don't
Adam then you won't need to use the CSS
code but sadly it's a pretty good thing
to do so let's have a look and we'll see
that I've just broken that image I think
scroll down yeah now sitting over on the
left let's go as caption which it's nice
so anyway it's just some CSS code you'll
find the code that you need over on WP
or column i'll put a link directly to
the post you need in the description of
this video but i'm just clicking on
customize up here let's go into the
customizer then i'm going through
additional CSS i've got some code in my
clipboard let's paste it in it's this
code so say you go to WP or comm and you
can find this code you can copy it into
your clipboard and you can come in here
and paste it I thought sure I can't
paste or even post this code into
YouTube it doesn't like it so that's
where you go gravis WB it'll come but
you should go over there anyway because
it's full of cool WordPress stuff even
if I do say so myself
so let's go have a look see if that's
fixed it okay there we go look looking
good on the right now and this one's on
the right to all the text is wrap around
everything looks nice so that's it we're
all done there's probably some videos on
