personal growth is hard because it's
uncomfortable it's uncomfortable because
ridicule the possibility of
disappointment not just disappointment
in myself but disappointing everyone
around me that I care about too many
elephants experience something similar
when being trained as infants they're
often tied to small stakes in short
chains and at the time they can't break
free even though they try but soon after
repeated frustration in agony they stop
trying as they grow they could easily
break free but they don't because
they've been conditioned to believe they
can't and that trying is painful this is
how I felt
in 2008 afraid of an unexpected unknown
scared to try something different
conditioned to think my crazy idea
wouldn't work but I decided to take a
risk I decided to let go what happened
next
