lot of people think what's that fancy
camera and what do I need to do so right
now this is my upgraded webcam that I'm
using so let's talk tech for a minute is
where we're gonna jump in here so this
upgraded webcam is a Logitech c920 I
believe it's under $100 and again this
is the updated one I ran off of the
standard webcam in my laptop for and
this is like a five year old laptop that
I'm still using to this day it's just a
Lenovo yoga
I ran off that for the first 200 or 300
videos literally it was built in this is
my two hundred and forty nine dollar
has lasted longer than my flagship phone
I had before it so 250 hour phone a lot
of my videos were recorded on along with
a $40.00 microphone that plugs right in
I just like having phones that have
actual mic input type things and you
Kirby is in the house so Andrew Kirby I
saw one of your videos top man and I
mean it pops
so Andrew Kirby says my advice got him
to 30,000 subscribers in the last 28
days he's in the philosophy and just I
think you've really found your groove

out on that Justin I was just
there for like four or five days and we
saw nothing but rain and clouds we got
tiny bit we just flew back from LA last
night there was nothing but clouds like
I'm just I grew up in California I grew
up near the coast so I get it June gloom
may gray all that fun stuff so the tech
is easier than really most people want
to believe I'm looking around here's the
other piece for when I got started this
is a Plantronics headset it's it's
technically what I when I search for
this it's a VoIP which means voice over
Internet Protocol or something it's when
vonage was out and everybody was
thinking all of our telephone calls
we're gonna go through the internet so I
use a USB connection is made by
Plantronics which is uh this is the kind
of stuff that's used in haul centers
right like that I used to work at Office
Depot in there inside sales department
we had a call center like 400 people on
the floor everyone used Plantronics
headsets this thing I believe is under
$50 they don't even make this anymore
this thing's like seven years old USB
Plantronics headset and so most of my
early videos literally the first 300
videos were done with what I already had
I actually already had this when I
started making those videos but if you
needed to go buy the microphones you
literally would be able to buy both one
for your phone if you have a normal
microphone input
don't have a normal microphone input you
already spent $1,000 on a phone so you
better have enough money to pay for a
fancy mic for that fancy phone you don't
buy it yourself but literally $40 for a
microphone on that $50.00 or so on this
so the tech is not a barrier that's the
first key that's the first point
there's no tech barrier I didn't go buy
a how to YouTube course right like
there's no barrier I didn't spend $1000
on the course that taught me some secret
or some this some that not at all I just
made the commitment to start and that
commitment was kind of like a 50/50
commitment it was fifty percent to you I
committed to showing up to you and for
two reasons number one nobody's teaching
how to do digital marketing for free and
I don't know why and I think that's
effed up like I think it's ridiculous
that everyone on YouTube who seems to
try to be teaching you something is
actually pitching you what they want to
sell you right they mask their trainings
with pitches it's like they're trying
these mini webinars they're trying to
gobble up so I just say I thought that
was weird
and dirty so I was like okay I'm clearly
the guy to go do that so it was it was
really that commitment to you to keep
showing up on delivering you the content
I know you needed but then it was also
to show you through my actions right
I've said many times in this channel
that you need to do like a thousand
iterations it's not the ten thousand
hours that's like literally a
thousand iterations is the past so at
this point I've done about five hundred
and thirty videos and it's been about a
thousand and twenty days give or take
okay so a thousand or so days of my time
have been spent here to do five hundred
and thirty videos which means on average
for the past almost three years I've
done a video every other day it was
front-loaded I did a hundred and twenty
videos in a hundred and twenty days okay
so four months of a video day then since
then I've been doing three videos per
week extremely consistently I was I got
a cold this past week when I was
traveling through through South Southern
California North Tijuana as I like to
call her I got a cold stilled in my
video I at one point had the flu and I
was laid out the only energy I could get
I put a bunch of dayquil of my system
drank a bunch of tea made a seven or ten
minute video and that was
like it muster I put it up live and I
pretty much crashed for the next 24
hours sometimes we have to do that stuff
because we're committed to the process
now that was the commitment to you guys
to show you through my actions what it
takes okay the consistency over long
periods of time and to teach you all the
bits and pieces to remove the excuse of
well I can't afford that course oh I
don't know how well guess what it's all
on my channel so that excuse is gone so
that was really what I wanted to do for
you guys
number two the other side of why I did
this I needed to commit to myself right
there was a commitment to myself to
really break out from behind the scenes
I've been making money online since 2003
I have a lot of knowledge
I've masterminded with a lot of other
successful digital marketers and I'm
always able to help these guys right
people who got fifteen million dollar
your businesses ten million already your
businesses I'm still bringing those
ideas out to them to help them scale
their businesses so I've got this thing
right I just have like from the amount
of time I've studied internet marketing
from my communication skills just the
way that this being this human being
that is miles Beckler has come to be at
this point in my life I have the ability
to communicate relatively effectively on
these somewhat confusing topics and
break it down into simplicity and that's
my goal and then it's just like
embracing that so it was a part of going
from just being a behind-the-scenes guy
on my wife's brand to really embracing
that I am a teacher and there is a level
of fulfillment and satisfaction for me
when I see people like Andrew Kirby say
dude I'm at 30,000 subscribers and
growing and Andrew and I have had
conversations in many platforms right
right in the chat often here in YouTube
trying to figure it out I think I
remember when he was at six or seven
thousand subscribers right and so that
means he's 5x his growth and like I
really do get satisfaction out of that
side of it right Andrew Kirby's been a
paying member before and like I don't
get that much satisfaction out of his 29
or 49 or whatever the the monthly fee is
out of it it really is to help create
that growth so those are the two moving
pieces and now I want to share the kind
of new idea that I've never really
shared that as I've analyzed
but it really took for me to get here a
hundred thousand subscribers because in
one sense that's a big deal to me that's
a very small deal it's just a step on
the path like like it's barely
noteworthy I don't really post on social
like oh yeah I finally got like I don't
care this is I have a longer-term vision
and that's really the core component
that I don't know how to teach this yet
and I'm barely even starting to
understand how important and how big of
a part this is so it's really your your
time horizon is what is the key
component here and a lot of people's
time horizon is like I can see to the
end of the month and that's it right so
uh the the payments come in the rent
goes out the car payment goes out they
sure and like that bill cycle for most
people is like a 30-day cycle and
literally most people can't see beyond
thirty days a lot of people are in the
paycheck-to-paycheck
mindset which means that time horizon
may be as short as seven days right if
you get paid every seven days and you're
literally like my your mindset is
paycheck to paycheck the money comes in
okay now I divided up the money goes out
all I can see is literally to that next
paycheck that is ultimately your time
horizon when I started this channel my
time horizon was three to five years I
knew on day one the video number one
when I started I knew this was a three
to five year path and I knew that on
that course of three to five years I was
easily gonna cross a hundred thousand
subscribers and ARDS our odds are I'll
hit a quarter million half million
subscribers in that timeframe so when
I'm making video number 17 right which
was on day 17 it is that big on my time
horizon because my time horizon is
literally like thousands of days so five
years 365 days a year my maths not gonna
be perfect on this but we're talking
1700 days or so something like that
right I'm at a thousand days right now
so that whole hundred and twenty day
period which took a lot of energy it was
really challenging to me that was
literally a step on a path and I use
that phrase alot this 100,000 is just a
step on a path
I'm not even at three years yet so I'm
barely over the halfway mark on this
time horizon where I started and what
I've realized is successful people have
a very long time horizon when Elon Musk
looks at his world and he thinks about
boring tunnels under cities when he
thinks about building reusable rockets
something that no one really has been
able to figure out on this planet before
when he thinks about revitalizing the
electric car that GM had one when I was
growing up and they crushed it through
Saturn brand I'm not whole brand is gone
now and he was like you know I'm gonna
make it electric car make it sexy
he wasn't like cool I need this to work
in two weeks from done or I'm giving up
on it right like can this pay my bills
can can I make Tesla pay my bills next
month
like there's no entrepreneur who's
successful who has a time horizon that's
being able to be measured in weeks or
months period and a lot of people in the
comments I see often the time arises
like how can I pay my next month's rent
with his internet marketing stuff and
said well if you put in ten years of
work odds are you'll be able to pay your
next year's rent with this next month
type situation I want to say that again
to make sure that was abundantly clear
because I got a little tongue-tied
possibly so if you're thinking right now
how do I make next month's rent with
internet marketing my question to you is
have you put in ten years of work yet
because if you haven't put in ten years
of work you shouldn't expect to make
this next 30 days profitable if this is
your first 30 days if you're three
months in six months in and you're
thinking I need to pay for my life this
month right here all I can see is this
next month this next paycheck this next
cycle and you're looking in 30 day time
horizons right now you're setting
yourself up for disappointment because
it's only when we look at the path at a
hole from a longer time horizon that we
find the ability to be patient through
the challenges we find the ability to
just keep showing up to do the work
whether we're sick or not whether we're
traveling or not I flew in to where I'm
at now I got home at like midnight last
night
I flew in at like 11:30 I had to get the
airport at like 5:00 yesterday was kind
of my published day right so I just made
this live happen I just scheduled it
like that's all I can do I'll show up
I'll be there and in here I am I'm doing
what I committed
I know that this tiny one video on the
five-year path to making a thousand
videos in five years that's getting me
where I want to go and I'm I'm not
thinking about or working with that next
month and there's definitely some of you
out there right now might be you
actually personally thinking what miles
I got pay my bills great get a job if
you're at a point where you need to pay
your bills and it's urgent
you should not be thinking this internet
marketing thing this YouTube thing this
blogging thing this affiliate marketing
thing this dropshipping thing is the
massive solution because it's not it is
a possibility to create a real business
for real businesses take years to build
which is exactly why I've worked
full-time jobs I did agency work and
development work for people at $25 an
hour full time implementing what I had
learned about digital marketing and
everything from building my wife's
business I had to do this for years I've
been doing 18-hour between 12 and 18
hour days every day since about 2009
like that's just normal but that's what
entrepreneurs do Elon Musk is not
hanging in a hammock Jeff Bezos is not
hanging in hammocks drinking mai tais
successful entrepreneurs are there every
day working in and on their business we
like to elevate what we do
I love becoming more of a CEO and hiring
teammates and building processes to
where I can kind of come up with ideas
and say you know what this is a good
idea talked about to Melanie this is I
think this is something that's gonna
really have a lot of value cool go make
this a reality and then they go do their
thing and they pass it off Nate and then
it just goes and it gets created and a
lot of times I gotta hire new people to
do that
I've hired four or five new people in
the last month I'm still gonna be
continuing to hire our team's probably
15 20 people at this point in time
because that's just where I'm at in my
business but there was a time when not
only was I the guy getting hired by
third-party companies to do all their
work at $25 per hour because I needed
the money because I was being broke
right I was also spending my nights and
weekends working on my way
my website doing all of the work not of
not able to afford outsourcing or any of
that stuff doing all of the work on both
sides and it was a lot more work but I
had even in that moment the time horizon
and the vision of in ten years I'm I'm
gonna be free from all of this BS I'm
going to be free from ever having to
think about a job I'm going to be
financial financially free I'm gonna be
location independent I'm gonna be
literally I'm gonna break out of this
matrix I'm going to free myself from the
rat race and I am going to soar like an
eagle above it and now when I walk
through the airports and it's a nine
dollar water I don't care I just pay for
it and move on I don't think about it
when I'm in its $22 avocado toast and an
latte at my speaking gig in Santa Monica
I don't care that Melanie I just spent
$50 on Tuesday I just don't think about
it right like it's I'm at that level of
the game now because I had a 10-year
vision that I've been executing on right
so Melanie in my business that time
horizon is like a 10 plus year time
horizon this miles Beckler brand I had a
three to five year vision I hit it hard
from the get-go because I had that three
to five year vision I'm a clue you in on
a little secret my team and I are
starting a brand new affiliate website
from scratch it's a website that it's
not on like I brought some expertise to
the table with digital marketing right
let's be real I've got years of SEO
experience I've got years of keyword
research experience I knew this was
gonna work that's the little aha moment
and that was that commitment I knew over
three years I was going to get to this
point so I'm starting another new
website with my team we just we're just
in the the bare build-out stage right
now I'm gonna do monthly updates on it
it's going to be a very very simple
style of affiliate marketing website is
gonna be a case study that we're gonna
follow along I'm not gonna touch the
damn thing because I got too much going
on I'm gonna throw money at it right and
when I say throw money at it I'm gonna
hire people to do the work mostly
writing like it's keyword research and
writing content like that really is the
game video content might happen at some
point in time so I chose a niche
not nearly an expert in the niche I have
a little bit of I have a little bit of
understanding of the niche right it's
something I've I've I've purchased these
things many times I've used them I have
them around me they're actually around
me right now so it's something that I'm
involved in but I'm nowhere near an
expert on this at all I may be one of
the top 20% but I'm there's people who
are so genius to this stuff so I'm gonna
do it again and I'm gonna show that that
from a niche sites perspective it's
still doable and we're gonna track and
document the process I don't know if I'm
gonna reveal the site itself because
unfortunately there's there's some shady
people who do shady things out there but
I will at least talk about the site
build the keyword research how many
articles were publishing every month the
process of optimizing it we're just
gonna track it of how much I invest over
the next year and and how much income it
starts to bring and try to track those
lines - how long does it take to go from
10 of 0 or from idea to getting it to
pay for itself and beyond is the
question so I'm gonna do it again
because I know that this is a process
and again when I'm doing this I'm I have
a 1 year case study idea because I'm
just curious what we can do in one year
but I don't expect this site to really
become a big thing for 3 to 5 years
right after 5 years of really growing a
site it should be able to generate 10
grand a month or more if it's completely
hands-off I could probably sell it for a
20 or 30 X multiple which could be a you
know $300,000 payday if I feel like
paying an exorbitant amount of taxes or
I'll just keep the cash flow right it
doesn't really matter so that's what I
got right there for you I really think
this time horizon is important so pay
attention to when you're thinking like
what what timeframe are you able to
think out - right like are you just are
you stuck in a short feedback loop cycle
if so go find a job that's gonna get you
comfort so you can start to think six
months out so you start to think a year
out so you can start to really shift
your perspective of the world because
creation takes time everything in this
world that grows has a gestation period
right human baby is a nine-month
gestation pyramid period not pyramid
period so bamboo plants
there's one bamboo plant is one of the
bamboo is one of the fastest growing
plants in the world it's actually a
grass which I find to be really
interesting if you ever hiked in a
bamboo forest wow that's one of the
cooler experiences of my life I felt
like I was in a kung fu film that was in
on Maui when I got the hike in a bamboo
forest anyways so there is a variety of
bamboo that has a nine year gestation
period which means the seed is under the
ground or just under the litter or just
sit in the forest for nine years
nothing's happening nine years nothing's
happening feels a lot like my story
right oh 3 2 2012 not much was happening
I was trying to I was moving around I
was I was doing things and nothing was
really happening in the business um then
magic happens I don't know how to
explain it right the magic of the
universe happens and that seed starts to
root and it just something changes after
that gestation period and then it starts
to root and then it starts to grow the
fastest growing bamboo plant can grow
something like nine meters in a season
it can grow upwards of like a foot or
two a day so this thing that was a seed
for nine years doesn't look like
anything's going on for nine years all
of a sudden some catalyst happens some
magic of the universe happens and it
takes off and it's the fastest growing
plant on earth so I think that's a
really good analogy for the the
neccessity to being patient through the
process and as long as you're moving
forward you're testing lots of different
things you're really truly committed and
focused on your audience and you just
pour your heart and soul into really
helping as many people as you possibly
can you can't go wrong and it becomes
fulfilling on many different levels
that's the soapbox moment I got for you
I know we've got all kinds of different
questions going on inside of the
comments which is where I'm gonna go now

never think about how long the hike is
when you're starting it's just that next
few steps and then you learn to enjoy
where you're at you learn to enjoy that
part of the hike right you're taking
your steps it takes effort it takes
energy it takes time for you're seeing
so much cool stuff you're experiencing
new things and and it's not always about
that destination right like a lot of
people think that something magic
happens at a hundred thousand like it's
a it's an incredible letdown to be
honest this is not a letdown I don't
want to use that word but it's it's a
non-event like a hundred thousand like
my wife looked over and she gave me a
high five
and I was like yeah cool I got video due
tomorrow
right like we're flying like I'm like
I'm more thinking about this like I got
a flight in a uber and and a bunch of
checkout and all that stuff going on on
a damn supposed to deliver a video like
I came to think about like I don't got
time to celebrate right I'm not that
kind of in baseball when you hit a
homerun you round the bases and get back
to the dugout and get your glove on
because you got to go back on defense
right but there's just doing your job
like it ain't fancy we don't celebrate
this stuff you sing a three-pointer you
don't jump around and celebrate dude you
got to run back to defense cuz that's
the game that's your job right like
treat it like that
so attila says 18 legs versus three
dislikes on my channel what happened
everything's fine
oh that's funny yeah the haters are out
right people and that's a good sign when
you realize that getting haters and
getting negative comments means that the
algorithms reaching new segments of
people and and it's it's a good thing so
I'm all about it
so Delores says I was wondering you saw
somebody who had 533 subscribers and
posted a new video within three days got
530 views so I think he might be paying
for YouTube ads to get noticed yeah or
fake views or all kinds of things but
like Delores I don't pay attention to
anybody like when I'm done with this
video
I don't watch I don't watch people's
videos I ain't got time for that I'm
building I'm creating for you and not
that switch
is the key sweat from consumer to
creator from consumer to creator and
that was the ultimate thing I did I said
I'm switching over to be a creator of
content at this point in time and I'm
gonna stick with it for three to five
years and that's what I've got here on
so f J says what is my long-term goal so
there's there's an idea called fu money
and that stands for you money and
I'm building my way up to my you
money point which means I have
everything I want and need in this life
and I don't want or need a hundred
thousand our cars
I got a old Jeep that is amazing and I
got a six-year-old diesel car that gets
50 miles of the gallon that's pretty
comfortable like I love it that's so so
the idea of fu money is when you have
enough money in cash flow positive
assets that can pay for your lifestyle
right I've got a couple of places I'm
gonna get a third place down in the
tropics at some point so when my assets
and the cash flow for my assets can pay
for all of my lifestyle that's the
victory that's the finish line because
at that point I could stop doing
everything and the cash flow to pay for
the lifestyle I want to live is still
there so that's that's that's like my
near-term goal is what I'm going towards
my wife and I have a goal of helping a
million people a month meditate and I'd
like to help 10,000 people start
successful businesses to free them from
the rat race because I think it can help
create these little micro economies so
right my goals have many levels there's
there's the what's the actual target for
me in my life based on numbers but then
there's the kind of what impact am I
giving into the world because if I can
help 10,000 entrepreneurs create their
own businesses and they start to to
remodel their house which means that
they're hiring local contractors which
means that they're hiring local the only
service providers but but also local
manufacturers and they're there shopping
at local stores and and they're spending
money at their their farmers markets
they buy making 10 grand a month can
actually help their entire local economy
and ten thousand people doing that would
be would be really cool so that's kind
of what I got going on where I'm at so
David Warlow said I had subscribed to
hundreds of channels to get ideas for
content now I'm unsubscribing in 99% of
them focused and delete the noise going
back to a job to cover bills do you have
money
that's it David and like I think so I
think you need to look at that as a
victory right that willingness to when
Mellie and I were living at my parents
house I was 30 years old
$50,000 student loan debt I flat out ran
out of money I had sold my cars so
Melanie's car like we had no car we had
sold that for cash because we were
putting the money into this it was an
MLM it was a total MLM scam I mean it
wasn't a scam it was a legitimate Evelyn
emmalin's real business yeah but it's a
shitty business model let's be real on
that point and I was I was following the
I was drinking the kool-aid and
literally ran out of money to the point
where we had to fly back to my parents
house with two bags and move him my
parents sold everything donated what was
left that we couldn't sell very humbling
moment but I went got a job and that was
actually the smartest thing I ever did
was Mel and I both got full-time jobs
and then we worked full-time on our
business and we were literally doing 80
to 90 hour weeks 40 hours for them to
pay the bills to get caught up and pay
my dad back and I had to buy a car and
about a 1200 or beat-up Jeep that needed
work my dad worked on and I worked on it
to get it running again then build our
asset that you know now over 10 years
that ass has brought in a couple of
million dollars right so that was my
approach because I had that vision at
that point and getting that job was the
smartest thing I do and I think a lot of
entrepreneurs talk smack about people
who get a job like you're giving up in
this that and it's like no no no people
who go get jobs are actually more
committed than people who are who think
they're gonna make it work and I'm gonna
fire my balls so just figure this out
and like you know that unless you
already have the cash flow to cover it
that's the wrong way about it so I honor
that and I think that's a really smart
move
it'd be good for you it'll be good for
your family put ten percent away in
savings you can live off 90 percent of
what you earn put it away for don't even
put away for rainy day put it away for
your old self if you put money away for
a rainy day it's always gonna rain
eventually it's one of the problems Dave
Ward said finally do that gets it your
story's very similar awesome 18-hour
days for three years straight to finally
crack the code it's cool to hear Dave
that really is the the trick you know I
think it's it takes a lot of work so
humanity awareness this is a sure
microphone it's like a $400 microphone
$100 boom stand $50 in cables I've got a
cloud filter which is 150 bucks and I
gotta focus right which is 200 or so I
got about $1,000 worth of audio on this
right here
I got a blog post on it on my website if
you want David Warlow building this
five-year plan with the outline we did
in the training the plan all the way
down to weekly goals yeah that was one
of the trainings I did for CNC
that's really powerful because you need
we need to be able to so here's another
kind of take on it right we need to be
able to take actions today while we're
thinking about a vision for the future
okay so our mindset is focused in the
future so we need be future focused so
everything I do speaking gig I just went
down to in Santa Monica I was on stage
with 60 or so entrepreneurs who are
trying to build grow and scale agencies
with a friend I met through through
being on his podcast it was Troy Troy a
Dean I think with W elevation so that
was at like do I take those actions do I
fly on that flight is that going to help
me get to where I want to go long term
right so it's taking action today that's
where does getting the job today while
building my business at night helped me
get to where I really want to go which
is $25,000 a year positive cash flow
from my own business that's 80% run by
other people so if you don't have both
of those components the ability to take
action today while focused on the future
that's gonna be a real challenge and you
need to figure out how to get yourself
to be able to kind of work in those
terms um studying personnel development
has been huge for me

you're living right now is of your
creation right it is a based on your
thoughts your feelings your actions your
deeds what you did what you thought what
you felt over the last 10 years is what
you created now so what you're feeling
thinking and doing now is going to
create your future so when you
understand that relationship it's all
about how do I kind of maintain and
manage my thought processes my vibration
and my actions today to create that
future that I desire I should probably

is in might that's my take of the law of

there for people that can be I just the

popular and trendy it was not trying to
you're popular when I started I've been
on this path since I was in my teens
actually and no one in my family gets it
no entrepreneur I've just had this drive
to create and to build things I think
there's so much value in plugging into a
corporation where you can be helpful
where you can be you build your skills
you can leverage your skills you could
meet interesting people and then you
could walk away you get a good paycheck
it covers a family and then you spend
three hours a night every night and you
grind if you do that for three years
straight again that's what 1215 hundred
days fifteen hundred days times three
hours a night is 4,500 hours something
like that like if you put 4,500 hours
and on something that's cool and when
all of those hours are put in without
the scent of desperation because you
have a job right that's what that's what
my chance when my channel works like I
don't need money from you period like I
don't my life is fine I'm comfortable
I'm good right I don't need it
so I'm able to create from that
standpoint of I have enough I have the
abundance I desire in this world and
that is way more powerful versus like
aha man I really need to make the sales
that I should probably make a video okay

something from them what video could I
make that I could get money today if
that's your default point of Attraction
the opposite happens and the universe
finds ways to get from you which is a
weird weird asked
of our world we live in but that that is
the truth

on here I'm I'm realizing that when I
leave that membership open it freaks me
out but if I open it and close it and I
control the flow of people when the
timings right for me and I do a new

people and answer those simple questions

do much for money anymore I do things
because it it lights me up and it makes
me feel great but that said just get on

where we go deeper into each other's

people just swiping and deploying and
copying and pasting what other people
are doing so it's just a way to get
deeper conversations with people going

I'm traveling and I'm doing it on my
phone it just stresses me out and that's
why I have to like control it slow so

job Kevin that was the best thing I ever
did man my wife got a full-time job I
got a full-time job we replaced them
with with services we provided for
others as quickly as we could but I mean
it's just it's instant take the pressure
off take the like just shift and that's
the time horizon right so if you're like
okay from from today in 10 years so 20
29 and most people can't even think
about 20 29 right it's like oh it's the
future Liberty to be in flying cars not
so they thought about 2015
didn't happen like I said we're just
gonna we're all just gonna be 10 years
older in 2019 right and some people will
have more kids and and some people have
another spouse and you know whatever
there's there's little things there
gonna happen but every we're gonna be
here in 10 years so in 10 years okay you
have a business that's generating
$25,000 a month and $15,000 a month of
that pays for the taxes and the team
know this and you literally have $10,000
a month profit in your pocket each and
every month in ten years odds are ten
years from now it's it's gonna be like
five to ten X what that is but let's
just say even if it's there okay so
we're looking at the 10-year window well
what if you had to get a job for like 18
months of that and you had to take the
pressure off to start building to get
that job now before transitioning into
some sort of service as you become a
consultant or a contractor start doing
digital marketing services or you did
what you were doing for that job as a
consultant free up a little more time
now you have to commute you can work
from home and then you can kind of
reapply that so on the 10-year path if
this is ten years between my hands then
this is 18 months what's getting a job
for that much when this is really where
the magic is and then everything after
that 10-year point is pure profit like
when we zoom out enough like in a job
for next year or two is nothing it's
like a blip right but a lot of people
mentally think that's like failing or
giving up on the dream and it's not it's
actually recommitting it's it's doing
whatever it takes to achieve the dream
which is creating a different life for
you and your family in five to ten years
out from there I really do think that
that almost anybody who seriously
applies themselves and focuses on
learning and implementing new
competencies along the path three to
five years is that sweet spot for most
people I really do think a thousand days
is is enough time to really create
something amazing if you're putting in
three to four hours a day and you're not
just posting on Instagram thinking
that's building a business because it's
not you're learning how search engines
work you're learning how to to work with
those algorithms you're publishing
content every single day you're growing
an email list you're doing the right
thing so you have to do the right things
over a sustained period of time but I
really do think most people because I
think most people can live off six grand
a month right and I think most people
can get up to the four to six grand a
month mark within three to five years
pretty pretty effectively it's long
crazy path though that's for sure so

to be honest that people who just have
all this funnel stuff and this that
they're trying to sell you software they
always are trying to sell you software
so always analyze what the person
telling you what you need to do is
selling and if they're selling software
put like four grains of salt in with
what they're saying and I so my funnel
for me my number one funnel is opt-in
right just literally getting people to
opt-in to my list and then I sell them
on a page I emailed them to a page that
says do you want this thing to buy like
literally it's that easy like do you
want to buy this yes no like that's it
like literally that that's how it works
so my membership for example right like
