MAKE MONEY BY CRYPTO TRADING & HODL: FULL TUTORIAL FOR BEGINNERS | PDAX | No invite

Okay, so hello guys! I'm Jhazel de Vera and welcome back to my channel.
So if you're new to this channel, click on the subscribe button and the notification bell,
so that you get to watch all types of videos about home based-jobs and anything from which you can earn online
So for today's video guys, we are going to talk about some crypto activities to earn some profit.
The first thing we are going to talk about is hodl.
So hodl is slang in the cryptocurrency community for holding the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
It comes from the word "hold", only that it's a typographical error.
And the legend says that the person who typed it was drunk. That's why the "D" came before the "L".
I'm not sure if it's true.
This what people usually do. I also do it.
It's when you buy cryptos at a very low price and wait for a long period of time until its price gets higher.
Buy low, wait for some time and then sell it for a higher price.
Sometimes it takes months, 3 months or even years.
It depends on you, on when you want to sell it.
We think of that action as trading but this activity is actually called hodling.
Hodl is a long-term strategy of investing and trading is a short-term investment strategy.
There's a difference between the two.
In this illustration, we can see that with hodling, we only have to wait until we meet the finish line,
until the crypto's price that we bought gets higher.
Whilst with trading, it requires analysis, knowledge, because in a short-term period of time you need activity.
There are ups and downs.
So guys, if you'd like to start hodling or trading cryptocurrencies, I'd like to suggest you this platform
that will truly help you. And most importantly, that is trusted.
So this website is called Pdax.
It is www.pdax.ph
The Philippine digital asset exchange.
So why did I choose this platform for hodling and trading?
First of all, it is trusted and it's BSP regulated and licensed.
So we're sure that our funds are safe and secured.
One of the main reasons for scams are caused by the platform itself.
They're not licensed, they can run away any time.
Unlike with Pdax that is licensed by BSP. We're sure that our money is safe and secured.
So again guys, Bitcoin is not the scammer, the scammer is the platform.
That's why I recommend Pdax, because it is licensed.
The next reason is because Pdax is competitive.
Buy and sell your cryptocurrencies at the best prices with the lowest fees.
As a Filipina, I'd like to use Pdax because you can enter markets using PHP.
Unlike with the other trading platforms, where you have to get through Forex and convert it to USD.
And only then, you'd be able to trade cryptocurrencies.
So here guys, you don't need to go through Forex the conversion is directly in PHP.
And these are their partners.
If you'd like to use this exchange platform for trading and hodling guys,
you can sign up by clicking the link in the description box below.
And you can also input the code "jhazel" when cashing in ₱1000 to get a bonus of ₱30.
For you to sign up here, you just have to provide your email, your location and verify that you're not a robot.
Accept terms of use and privacy policy.
Then, you can click on "register".
The next thing to do is checking our mail for their email for verification.
If the email hasn't arrived, you can resend the email.
If you still can't find it, check your spam folder to be sure.
This is the email you'll receive. Click on "complete your registration".
You will be redirected here. Set password, you have to enter your new password and re-enter it.
Solve the captcha and you can finally set your password.
This how your account will look like once you've logged in.
As you can see from "get started", we have to upgrade our account.
We're still classified as an unverified user.
So what are the disadvantages of being unverified?
First of all, our actions in Pdax are limited.
So I recommend you to upgrade your account.
So for us to upgrade we have to options: as an individual or as a corporate or institutional account.
I'm "personal". We have to follow the steps here.
Step 1: registered country, step 2: personal information,
and we'll also have to upload an ID. So take note guys, if you are using your passport you have to sign the other page.
And it needs to be able to see in the picture. Because the passports now don't have signs anymore.
So sign the other page. It needs to be seen in the picture.
And then step 4, you need a selfie with your ID.
And step 5 is reviewing and submitting.
It took me about 24 hours to get my account verified.
You need to follow the instructions to get upgraded.
This time I'm going to show you my account. The one I used here on Pdax.
It's already verified.
Actually, I already made a video about Pdax, but this is their new updated version.
I already have some holdings in my account.
I have some Philippine peso here. I've cashed in some time ago.
We also have some Bitcoins holdings.
I've exchanged it. This is whatI've been holding as of now.
I have LTC. I have some earning platforms where I earn LTC.
This is where I've been putting my Litecoins earned.
Here on the side, we can see our portfolio.
All digital assets and fiat currencies.
Here at the bottom you can enable the 2 Factor security.
So that our account is even more secure. Even more, if we have a lot of funds in our portfolio.
We're now on the dashboard or portfolio.
Let's go to activities.
In "activities" we can see our transaction history.
In funds, we can manage the money. We can cash in, cash out and transfer funds.
Let's go to payment in.
We'll see our recent payments in. Here you can select the cryptocurrency that you want to cash in.
We have the fiat currency.
Click cash in.
There'll be a pop up with their mode of payments if you want to cash in in PHP.
We have PayMaya, Visa credit or debit card, and we also have GCash wallet.
Scroll down and there's also bank deposit or direct deposit.
You'll also see the wait time, if it'll reflect right away in your account. With these three it's instant.
For the bank option you'll have to wit 1-3 banking days.
There is a transaction fee of 3.1% of what we'll cash in.
Here you can see your cash limit, which is based on the level of your account or verification
My daily cash limit is ₱50,000, monthly is ₱150,000, yearly is ₱500,000.
Let's say we'll cash in with PayMaya.
The minimum deposit with PayMaya is ₱200 and the maximum is ₱100,000.
You have to input your cash in amount.
Mine is ₱1000 and here you can enter the referral code "jhazel". If you cash in at least ₱100, you'll get an additional of ₱30.
The additional ₱30 won't appear right away, you'll have to wait for 3-5 days and only then the rebate will reflect.
You can then click on next to cash in on Pdax.
Let's now see the digital assets.
With BTC, you BTC address will show up.
The same for the other cryptocurrencies.
Let's now see the payment out.
Here you can only see PHP and LTC because I have a balance in PHP and LTC.
I also have some bitcoin balance but it's now in the "exchange" section.
Let's see PHP. This is my balance and let's click on cash out.
There'll be a pop-up.
These are our ways to cash out our money.
Here we have PayMaya but it's still coming soon, InstaPay, PesoNet, Bank deposit - coming soon,
Cebuana Lhuillier and MLhuillier.
The cash limits for the cash out are the same. ₱50.000 daily, ₱150,000 monthly and ₱500,000 yearly.
Let's see the "transfer funds".
When you click it, our history will show.
I've transferred funds of ₱5000 from primary to exchange. I've hodled Bitcoin worth of ₱5000.
Click the fiat currency that has a primary balance. Here will only appear currencies that have primary currencies and exchange balances.
For now I have balances in PHP, BTC and LTC.
What we'll do is transferring it from where it comes. For example, from primary you're going to transfer it to exchange.
When you cash in something, it'll be in your primary wallet and for you to hodl/trade it, you have to transfer it into the exchange wallet.
That's why we're transferring funds.
In primary we can enter our minimum and maximum Peso amount.
Let's say we're going to transfer ₱1000 and once everything's okay, you can click on "transfer funds".
Your request has been successfully processed.
In history, we can see that we've transferred the funds from primary to exchange.
We can also see our balances in primary and exchange.
In exchange I have ₱1003.93, the ₱3.93 was from my previous hodling.
Now we'll go to their trading platform.
Okay so this is their new advanced platform compared to the last one, this is their new upgraded version.
This is how it looks like. We have instruments markets, the ordering section, the order book, charts, trade history
and our holdings. This is also where we'll see them, same for the orders that we've set.
In instruments markets, if you use a little monitor, this is what we'll be able to see.
So we may sometimes have a difficult time selecting the instruments markets since we can't see them all.
What we'll have to do is to zoom out. Press ctrl and scroll down. There you go, it zoomed out.
This is -80% zoomed out.
I can now see all of my markets here on the side.
The characters get smaller guys.
My holdings are 0.0173 BTC. So I'm hodling 0.0173, its original value was of ₱5000
and what is its value now?
0.0173
Oh look! I bought it last week with a worth of 0.0173 and I now have a profit of ₱500.
It is now ₱5515
For me it's still quite low, so I'll still hold on to it before selling it in Peso.
I'm a hodler, not a trader. I buy low and sell high.
As of now, the market of cryptocurrencies got really low because of the outbreak of the virus.
The price of bitcoin and the rest of the crypto got lower of 50%.
As of March 30, bitcoin's price is around $600 or ₱317,245
and it's good for us to buy now because it seems that the price is getting higher.
We can start buying and who knows maybe it 2 months time, bitcoin's price will be as before around $10,000
So at least we got some profit.
Now we're going to discuss some stuff about Pdax's exchange platform.
First of all, we here have a limit order.
With the limit price you can assign the price of bitcoin or of any cryptocurrency that you want to buy or sell.
Litecoin's price is now ₱1941, you can make it even lower by setting your limit price.
For example 1500 and once a person sells it at this price, your order will be filled.
If not all are filled in like if it's an 0.8, the 0.2 will remain in the order.
Same thing with selling. We want to sell it at a higher price so we can set a limit price.
Let's go to the market and this is the most basic one because if you want to buy and sell cryptocurrencies instantly
we'll base on our market price as of now.
Now let's go to FAK, which is similar to limit. FAK means fill and kill.
It means that once it reaches your limit price and your order wasn't all the way filled in-- like for example
0.2 remained in your order, it'll go back to your PHP holdings.
that's why it's called fill and kill.
So what remains in the order won't still be there, it'll be "killed".
Let's say we're doing an experiment.
I'm going to create three orders: limit, market and FAK.
Let's go with the limit first. Here we have around ₱1000.
The only thing with Pdax is that you have to type in the litecoin quantity.
It's kind of hard.
So let's just go with the estimated value, hopefully it'll be fine.
Let's start with 0.02, which is litecoin's minimum.
0.02 is equal to 30.
It's kind of hard but just go with it.
But they said that'll upgrade it to a better order form.
0.2 is around ₱301.5
The 1.5 are fees.
I can place my order at the limit price of ₱1500, 0.2 LTC. Buy order.
Here it is. We have a "buy order" as of now.
Every time someone will set a "sell order" of ₱1500, it'll be filled in here.
And if there are remaining, it'll remain there.
For the market, let's say that we want to get some litecoin as soon as possible.
We'll base on the market price of ₱1985.
Let's say I want to get around ₱200.
Look at the difference.
0.2 is ₱390
and on the limit price, I chose ₱1500 and I got ₱300.
So this is for the people who can't wait. Just be attentive.
We reached ₱200.
0.103 litecoin and its market price is ₱200, so our peso holding here will decrease.
It'll be on LTC. Let's place the order.
And there it is. This is the market price, it's instant.
It doesn't need to wait and hope.
Let's go on with FAK.
Let's do ₱1900.
Close to the market price.
Its total is ₱391, and our PHP price is 496, I'd like it to be near this price.
It is fill and kill. There it is.
It's really close to our PHP holdings.
Our total is ₱496, price around ₱1900. Once it reaches ₱1900 or even it doesn't fill, it'll be "killed"
only that our remaining balance will be back to PHP.
Let's place our order.
The FAK orders will appear on fills.
We've set our 3 orders: limit, market and FAK.
Actually, our viewers from the previous Pdax video have been waiting for a long time
I said that I'd explain the differences between the order types. Hopefully you understood my explanation.
This is not our last Pdax video, I'll update you about our placed orders.
We will try the same thing but for selling.
Oops but first commercial! This is my question for this video's giveaway:
