shall we I'd love to know what your
plugins are in terms your must-have
essential plugins that you're running on
your site just put them in a chat and we
can talk about them I bet there'll be a
bit of common ground between us in terms
of the plugins that we use um Kanzi
sayings got a good mate that works at
Porsche yeah I need a big kind of SUV
sort vehicle right there the K and is it
Cayman that might be all right
but anyway let's let's get on the on the
computer and have a look at some
as some plugins just wanna see I'm gonna
Justin light ever so slightly
give me a bit more over here maybe I

what I thought I'd do is I am sort of
log in to one of my sites and then just
kind of go through the plugins that I'm
running and then we can talk about them
I thought a good place to start might be
WP Eagle comm so let's head over there

it's kind of revamped and I'm busy and
one fact my team should I say my
assistant Lucy is is adding some content
regularly so yeah also let me know what
do you think about the new thumbnails

and changed the style I was getting a
bit fed up with the old

good the firm says that he uses short

plugins I'm running on here bring it on
the side maybe and then we'll dig into

first one which I like for this site now
this is anything to be relevant if you
are I'm gonna be upfront it's like if
you are selling clothing or anything
that requires size information there's
this one here called size charts in fact
what I'm going to do is open another tab
let's have a lot of tabs going why not
so you can see the exact names of these
plugins so yeah the first one caught my
eye there was the WooCommerce size
charts which is this one which is by
Utah yes yes yes
what if it means yes I know what it
means and what it allows you to do is
products so I'm obviously using it on
the WPE will merge which I'm wearing or
see now you may have spotted I'm wearing
this one
no not I'm wearing this ones but in in
Burgundy available they're variable
price 1699 worldwide shipping available
that's the white one that's no good
I still haven't kind of made these look
better a little black and white don't
know but they're not because there's
loads of colors look loads of colors but
yeah the size chart adds D your size
guide even adds this tab here and then
you can specify different size guides a

videos you know I say check out how to

it allows you to do that so you go add
new link and you decide what you want
you know my link and you paste in your
affiliate link give it a title and you
can even also a place if you want to I
think it's pretty cool and and really
useful if you've got a lot of different
affiliate links so as I say Amazon
aren't too keen on you cloaking Amazon a
few things so just maybe don't use it
for Amazon links but everyone else it's
fine next one is accu smith which i
think everyone should probably be
running it's often installed by default
actually into WordPress it stops the
comment spam which is a pain we all know
that comment spam is a absolute pain in
the butt
that's not that important but that's to
do with adjusting the categories in a
widget so you can have more used to run
BB press that was what was doing the
forum kind of cool now bloom is what I'm
using for the let me show you for the
email opt-in it's by the same people
that make Divi
I think it's elegant themes I think
they're called is it gonna pop up true
not now it's not me a pop up on the home
page it's not working now so it braces
just the pop ups and it does the other
box which appears yeah so that's all
done by the plug-in bloom however I'm
probably gonna be switching over to
opt-in monster soon because I think
that's a lot more powerful although it
is a lot more expensive than bloom let
me just quickly show you the options
I've got too many tabs now and your word
and ting us can you click your Wu's own
products when sharing across social
media yeah that's fine hello entity by
the way so he had these are where you
can add your opt-ins it's very simple
nice-looking plugin you just put new opt
in and then you can customize it let me
show you an existing one so you can see
what you can do give it a name you can
actually set up your email provider so
we'll fine play around with the design
and your logo choose the edge style is
it's all pretty cool
in fact let me show you you get a better
thing yesh if you do a new one I do a
new one yes you decide where you want
pop-up flying below post inline whether
its lot content or a widget see one for
a pop-up give it a name

loads those are nice template
and yeah give a title message images and
all the rest it's really cool little
plugin bloom
5m exactly how much is it either it is
premium I believe not late for all of
these because some of them are not must
that plugin someone was just kind of
nice so course and that comes with
ex-teammates a bit like Elementor
Elementor but not as good CSS free
responsive web pricing tables that is
something i've gone back to now it's not
the best plugin i've got to say in terms
of using it because it's quite
complicated personally it basically
looks like this and you know there's
loads of stuff to fill in and whatnot
but it is good at what it does once you
get there in the end if it makes it so
it's for creating template
temples it's for creating tables to show
off different things so i have done a
video about it in the past it was quite
a long time ago but let me just show you
this is the hosting guide which is still
working progress will be up very very
soon well I'd only get way too many
results just yet in fact these aren't
quite finished I don't worry about that
just yet I want to show you the table so
this is the kind of table that it
creates really nice-looking so great for
doing product comparisons you can change
like these two images and stuff where
the pricing is so it's not as flexible
as it like it's very difficult to change
colors and stuff for example but it does
create some nice tables and I'm
struggling to find something that is
similar if you know of any good table
plugins let me know there's another one
there now this one's slightly different
this is by a plugin called table press
and this is really good if you want to
show off like detailed tables of data
because we need to do is basically get
your Excel spreadsheet or whatever and
then you just upload it in and it
creates his table and then visitors can
then like sort and stuff and again I am
giving away a few results here in the
server testing which is fine
you guys you get you get first access
because you know you deserve it
so yeah in terms of Google PageSpeed and
serve response time and stuff these two
hosts I've done really well in terms of
fast comment a team hosting site ground
clean most they've all done really well
and when you look at the web browser
reload speed 80 hosting is killing it
and slight ground is doing really well
these two are VPS type servers which I
will be talking about as well within
this review but they've kind of
eschewing it a little bit so yeah those
two table plugins we get back to the
plugins I'm going to come back to the
questions in a moment or just do a few
more plugins and then we could also talk
about plugins later of course we can can
dart about we're going about half nine
today that's another full 40 minutes of
of WordPress fun that's a good related
post one it's called efficient related
post summit related posts plugins can
really slow down your site this one
seems pretty good um google analyticator
I don't recommend anymore I should read
swap that out for monster insights which
is a much better elytis plugin now
gravity forms is my favorite it's still
my favorite form plug-in let me just
quickly show you absolutely love it it
is premium and if you want a free one
then magic forms it magic forms these
magic forms did a video about it
recently that's also good for free but
the stuff you can do with with gravity
forms you can do multi-page forms really
easy to make forms and just you know
move stuff about you can have
conditional logic so you know you have
certain fields appear when people fill
in
other fields at the forum for a client
using gravity forms it went over like
four or five pages it was for financial
information financial services done
I had conditional logic and yeah it
wasn't actually that hard to build it
was a really complicated form but I was
able to do it with gravity forms and
then there's a whole load of extensions
that had even more functionality
so for lumping you can then populate
fields from other fields that was a
plugin that I an extension sorry for
gravity forms lots playing with the
other day which works really well as
again so you know we're on a form you
per have like maybe a different address
fields and you want people to say you
know same as the address that I've
already put in but like in a checkout we
have same as billing address you can do
that kind of thing add a tick box when
someone takes it you can take the data
from one field and put it into another I
love gravity forms but you do have to
pay for it like all good things
sometimes you have to pay from I love
the IE you bender you you Bend I still
can't and how to say it the cookie
solution again video on that recently
now jetpack I don't really use I find it
slows down WordPress I don't really the
benefit that's an extension for great
reform loitering so I think maintenance
great plug-in I've been for it in a
video before its when you're working on
your site we need to take your site
offline just a few moments give people a
nice kind of maintenance page while you
do some work in your site whatever we've
been through this before when we're
talking about this as hell though since
then I've been looking more interested
and you probably don't even need a
plug-in to do it all you could do is go
into the settings go into general and
just change your website URL so that
includes HTTPS that's probably what you
need to do but yeah no plugins kind of
handy redirection great for doing your
301 redirects something you should all
be doing if you move anything or if you
change your site I've got video coming
soon on the 301 redirects simple sitemap
little video on that recently really
good for creating HTML sitemap so let me
just show you what that looks like
you basically create a sitemap using
that plug-in with a shortcode and you
get this and you can't customize it and
stuff and it just they see your sitemap
is a good thing to have as I was talking
to Stephanie about the other day and of
course there is a host which is for your
young so this on my plugins that I'm
running let's go back let's go back to
the questions though I see one about
gravity forms let me just check that
question there is does gravity forms
load unnecessary scripts on pages that
the form doesn't appear I don't know
let's have a look this it was saying on
that first now this page doesn't have a
format so I look if I see any gravity
form related stuff those style sheets I
guess that's not such a big deal that's
okay that's admin bar stuff it's just
style sheets which I don't think would
slow anything down too much so there's
no we will weird scripts or anything
correct there
yeah I don't see anything about no any
you can't know nothing about scripts on
every page I think gravity forms is fine
so there's no question they're asking
which ones are free which ones are paid
for the majority of the plugins that I
just went through we're free
let me just go back in gravity forms you
do have to pay for I think it's like
ninety nine for a developer license
maybe thirty nine for a single site I
thought mimosa plant so access press oh
crap that's free affiliate link cloaking
that's free academia it's free for
non-commercial use are though don't tell
anyone but I've never paid for an
account and it works on all my sides
bloom you do have to pay for let me just
check how much that is you just have to
join the old elegant themes eighty nine
a year you get access to all the themes
and plugins the themes includes Divi
which is a great theme CSS free
responsive what pricing is are paid for
plug-in over on code Canyon I think it's
twenty yeah it's twenty official races
post is free I think it's free yeah

bender you have to depending on the
policies and stuff that you generate it
depends on how much you pay they do have
a free kind of starting package

duplicate post that's what it's called
duplicate post it's pretty one of the
most useful plugins that you can ever
install but just allows you to create a
copy of a page or post and then start
working on it so you can create a draft
from existing content it's really useful
especially if you've got some sort of
like format or whatever they use a lot
it's perfect now there are a few plugins
missing off that site like wordfence
which is good force good for security
that kind of stuff some use them the
video is a bit blurry it's not for me if
you're getting a blurry video then just
check your quality settings in a little
little cog thing that you got you to
YouTube that should help John Buck says
can you have two new plugins yeah you
definitely can is there a limit the
limit is as little as few as you
possibly can so how many I got on here
I've got 29 active plugins which is
that's on the borderline I mean anything
over 30 I think it's probably too many
but sometimes you need features and you
need functionality so you have to add
plugins what can you do but every plugin
is gonna have an effect on the
performance and the speed of your site
is there a plugin that allow you to
change the order of posts that you make

reorder plug-in sorry products as you

images and things you're adding to your
content lots of things are gonna have an
effect but yeah the hundred K that's a
big site so probably you're gonna need

information and it is possible to hide
it and then it won't work but it works
on the majority size also gives you an
idea of some of the plugins so they're
not all coming up there but a few of
them are so yeah like that one this is
the buffer extension now I've mentioned

cool this is the Google Analytics plugin
and gives you loads of information about
your Google Analytics it kind of gives
you this overlay so you can see what
people are clicking although I don't
know how how accurate that is but maybe
this is the Google Facebook pixel so
once you install the Google Facebook
pixel this is useful here tells you if
it's working this is the SEO quake 1
which if you go over to Google and do a
search for best dog bowls French
bulldogs turn this s/o thing on
you don't yeah there we go now it's on
and then refresh and maybe turn it on
here oh yeah there we go and it then it
puts a whole load of stuff all over
Google not this stuff by the way not
this stuff this is different comes a
second it's this stuff so it kind of
tells you a bit about all the sights
that coming up and yeah loads of
information gives you some other
information here which it kind of is
clashing a little bit with the other
plug-in that I'm running let me just
turn this off I don't use s here quite
that much to be fair the other one I'm
using is this one over here which is
keywords everywhere which gives you this
stuff and this stuff so it tells you the
volume and competition and it's the one
that Doug uses for his tea we've got a
ratio and it's featuring a number of
videos check out the playlist on the
channel well what's this one that's the
inbox by Gmail so if you using inbox I
use that this one is a screen capture
it's pretty cool because it allows you
to capture the whole screen you see that
not just a bit that was within the in my
view above the folders captured the
whole webpage so pretty cool if you need
to capture some webpages that one is
called full page screen capture this one
is to buddy which is just a tool that I
use or YouTube that is the Aliexpress
product importer which is a plugin that
I used with the dropshipping site for
WooCommerce check out the video on the
channel and how to create that site
that's Affiliate window I don't really
use this but again it's if you promote
your stuff on a food we know you can use
it generate links and that's it the
keywords everywhere that's that's the
release one that does this and this
final one is dashlane which is what I
use for my password management
wow-whee - there's some Google Chrome
extensions for your enjoyment a la Tour
de Spanish come on melee ammo Alex come
after we ran as much Spanish my Spanish
should be much better really easier
