Alright guys, welcome back to the channel Victor but Ethisphere and this channel is all about making money online

Now this video is about my youtube channel and how it got monetized a few days ago

And I wanted to give you kind of an update of my first 10 days of being monetized

All this is kind of new to me. But this is just information that I've kind of learned over the last few days

So and I wanted to share that with you if in case you're close to getting monetize or if that's your goal

And I don't see why it wouldn't be because it's another stream of income that YouTube will pay you

For placing ads on your videos now in case you don't know to get monetized or be

considered to be monetized your channel

You have to have at least 4,000 watch hours within a 12-month period and at least a thousand subscribers

now you can see

I just got to thirteen hundred and thirty two subscribers

So I sent in my application as soon as I hit a thousand subscribers and here's the email I got from

YouTube as you can see it says congratulations

You've been accepted and as YouTube partnership, and now this email was sent on

the

14th of March there it is. You can see the date there

And I saw I started monetizing or I started really

You know getting monetized the very next day

Even though it was on the 14th, so it was but it's been 10 days. Ok

So this is my first 10 days of my channel being monetized

So I want to kind of show you the results. These results aren't in any way impressive

But that's not the point of the video

the point of the video is to get a better understanding of how YouTube works and how it

Monetizes your videos and some lingo that I just learned, you know CPM and things like that

So I just want to kind of do a quick video go over those things with you

So if you look at my dashboard here

It shows my estimated revenue right here of seventy four dollars and thirty four cents

This is for the first ten days of being monetized. That's actually my

Income that I've earned for the last ten days. So all things stay the same

For the first ten days, let's say there's an average of 30 days in a month

that would

Equate to about two hundred and twenty-five dollars at the end of the month if nothing moves from this number

Which it will it will grow the more content

We put out there the more people that watch videos that number will go up. But again, this is my first 10 days

So seventy four dollars and thirty four cents for ten days

Of being monetized. Okay. Now if we go to my analytics screen, okay

Oh, by the way, it shows your watch time in minutes your views how many subscribers you've had. This is for the last?

Okay. So how many?

Added subscribers you've had and of course your estimated revenue. So we go to the analytics screen

This kind of confirms it right here. Okay

Your estimated revenue. Okay, so

Now your estimated ad revenue is seventy three thirty two and your YouTube premium revenue

Let's you can click click these question marks if you're not sure

estimated revenue from YouTube premium for the selected date range

This number does not include other revenue

But those two added together equal to the estimated revenue and it shows down here

Important information it shows the estimated revenue of each video

Now I have how to repost videos on Instagram that

Video has gotten about seventy three thousand views so it's my most viewed video

So I'm getting the most revenue out of that one video eighteen percent of the revenue is coming from this one video

So you can see the power of getting a lot more views on all these other videos that I have

Over a hundred and thirty videos if I can get these videos to get more views

Then obviously I'm gonna make more money as far as what Adsense goes

Okay, and then it shows the next video and so on and so on

Now I want to go to a different analytics screen and show you something here

So it shows my actual ad revenue that I've generated a hundred and thirty three dollars and thirty cents

Now we all know that this is my actual

Estimated revenue. That's what I'm gonna get paid. But this is the actual revenue

I've generated from my channel in the last ten days

and

Of course being a partner with YouTube YouTube keeps their share and then they pay me my share which is this here

Okay, so just so you can see so you understand why those numbers are different. Here's another big thing

that is basically

What I just learned that is is its cost per mil CPM and what that is is what my average payouts can be

Per every thousand views I get and from what I understand. That's not a bad CPM so far now

Okay, now how to repost videos on Instagram has gotten a lot of views

So that's the majority of my revenue coming from that one video. However, this is this is a

newer video that I just did not too long ago and

It's getting pretty close to

That what I'm earning on this video now, why is that because the CPM is much higher here

$51.99 and I think that has to do with how much the advertisers are willing to pay

okay, so if I get a thousand views on this particular video, I'm gonna

$51.99. Does that make sense? Because remember the CPM is per every thousand views

Every thousand views I get on this video, which is I'm getting a lot more views obviously

It pays me five dollars and 21 cents. You see how I see the power of this tool right here for instance

Okay, this one only has 79 but this pays 94 dollars for every thousand views. Okay. Now this is gonna change

Okay, this is I've noticed these change daily

Okay, and I'm still trying to figure out how all this works exactly but I think I have a basic idea. So

my might my reason for showing you this screen is that

um, my strategy is this I'm gonna take videos like this that pay me a much higher CPM

Okay, and I'm gonna start promoting these videos more. Okay, I'm gonna start, you know, maybe shooting them out to my list

I have a list of about 1600 people that I have and I might hey

I might put together a an email blast and start promoting this video

Okay, because yes, I I've done this video back and if you see the date there November 18th of 2018

It's 18 minutes long. Okay, and

I've gotten

Monetized playbacks if I can get to a thousand. That's the whole go. I'm gonna get $94. Does that make sense?

So you want to look for the ones that have a higher CPM?

If you look at some of these have, you know forty to eighty two dollars

if I go to the next screen

Okay, there is the plain truth about affiliate marketing

2019 I did that on Christmas Day last this last December. I've found one hundred eleven dollars

This one's paying one hundred and six dollars how to make five hundred dollars online

Then we go to the next screen

These are all the videos I have obviously so some of these don't do as well

Even though they get more views they don't get paid. You don't get paid as much for the for the CPM

So do you see the strategy here?

I'm going to start either promoting these videos more or make similar videos

Maybe updated videos because I know they pay much higher with these type of keywords in it, like click funnels

$76 per per view and let's see. What else do we have here? Let's go to the next page. Okay

Plain truth about affiliate marketing obviously affiliate marketing is one of the main keywords

That will pay me quite a bit more. My goal is to get more views on this particular video so I can do like a

Compilation video or or I'm sorry an email with like a a blast from the past these videos? I

Did in the in the in the past, but I found that they were great resources for information

I just wanted to present them to you once again, and maybe send that to my email list

Or I can create a new video with new or updates with similar keywords in them knowing that they get paid much higher CPM

Does that make sense? So that's gonna be my goal?

being monetized and in making some Adsense money and obviously

This is going to grow from here and I will update you at the end of the month

with my new

Revenue totals for the end of the month well, and we'll just see where it goes from here
