my brand new Amazon affiliate website I
know a few of you have seen it already
but thought I'd go for it well deep I've
got a few stories to tell you about it
as well also we can have a chat about a
few of my other videos I did uploaded on
today SEO tools we can have a look at
them it's a couple of really cool tools
in there well I think they're cool
anyway you can let me know what you
think and also we could talk about Tim's
interview that he did with me I uploaded
that one yesterday and yeah anyway let's
start because Anil is asking a question
can we use Google ads for Amazon
affiliate website the answer is yes
however this actually lead into my new
affiliate site so let's get on computer
and I'll show you a couple things
display capture working like this you
can look at my face as well if you like
maybe not so can you use Adsense on
Amazon if it's like yes you can so let
me introduce my brand new website now
the video I am currently just finishing
off editing it's looking like next week
now if I'm honest I've had to redo quite
a bit because it wasn't as good as I'd
hoped
I want to be really good and come by the
reasons why it's been delayed but
hopefully next week but the site that I
build in the video is this one the roof

I'll look at some analytics put up which
is already getting traffic weirdly
enough a couple of things I want to show
you regarding traffic on this site so
this site has been up only a week maybe
two weeks so we get a little bit of
traffic and now of course some of that
traffic could be you guys but it's also
getting some search traffic so the
interesting thing is one of the reasons
why I've been holding off the video is
because only to record some more screen
grabs of this site and I wanted to do
them with Adsense showing because I have
actually added Google Adsense to the
site I added it here got an email today
from Google Adsense saying that mice
this site is not been approved because
let me just find an email in fact cause
because because let me just transition
off because I'm gonna show you having
that partition as usual until I find
emails

they have said can you see on my

what what do you call all this this is
content so I think the problem may be
because a lot of the content has got
Amazon affiliate links in it funnily
enough like these kind of posts they've
got like big buttons through times and
I'm wondering if they're not liking that
however here's the kicker to this story
the weird thing about this story while I
was working on best roof box calm I
start recording and this is unusual for
me and will be alright if I can remember

this video to be as good as we can I

more content on it now as you can see so
it has way more content than the test
site but then if we come and have a look

content got a proof or Adsense like that
so I guess the moral of the story there
with regards to Adsense on your Amazon
affiliate site is if they reject you
change a couple of things around and
apply again and the chances that you get
rejected is basically and I can tell
this from what's happening here it
really depends on who at Google reviews
your site and decides whether it's
suitable or not and they're obviously
not all following the same policy
because this site we should pretty much
identical to the live site in fact it's
not even as good as the live site
because it didn't have as much content
got accepted and the site with the with
the content got rejected and I got told
to add more content so what the heck is
going on
and I think there's a smudge on the

got on this site on this site I have got

think I've got 18 so far I've got

salesy they don't link to as many Amazon
products in fact though this one makes
to any Amazon product well maybe one
there's one roof books there and that
one leads to another post on the site so
this one is just like words is hardly
any Amazon exhibit leads a few images if
I'm honest so maybe I'll add them this
one again doesn't have too many products
just bottle of spray and some microfiber
cloths and some poly troll I'm not too
salesy it's another nice article this

does have some sales stuff obviously but
again I think it's overly done I've
taken out those big buttons I check
price on Amazon the these posts again to
make it less advertising funny thing
about Adsense is they they're all about
ads but they don't like you promoting
other stuff on the site and get that
impression so yeah this is my new site

terms of rankings I've been I'm going to
look around and do some searches in
incognito see that just so you see what

now this site is actually focused on the

I'm thinking that might be a good thing
which is why recently you may notice
I've been asking why what people call a

screwed up this domain name a little bit

searches so I should have focused at one
cargo carriers maybe if that is the same
thing is that the same thing my American
viewers could maybe help me out with

about I was doing some searches and the
interesting thing was so like two days
after honest like I did this search this
exact search and I was coming up are you
the first or second and this was in
there incognito mode so it wasn't just
for me got some tea by the way and it
had pulled in

test one and it pulled in this table
into the Google search results as like
the best roof books is for free right
which I thought was amazing but it seems
to have gone that I guess Google was
just testing it out I don't see any
results now there's a competitor there

I'll show you how I did this one which
is not been approved even though our

so you come into Adsense you go to ads
what do you let's start the beginning so
you log into Adsense like this I know
I've shown mine then what you go to ad
units you then create an ad unit so I
normally go for text and display ads I
then you can go for the responsive ever
though it always looks a weird size to
me so I feel like to choose my size go
for rectangular I know for this site
it's around 300 by 250 but you know
obviously play around with this see
which one fits you give it a name my
test ad you guys see this okay I'll
probably do MIT up a little bit little

generally like display ads only I think
the text ads look a bit naff but certain
tie up to you that's it then you save
and you get the code you grab this code
you copy it into your clipboard you head
back to your site I've added it to a
widget down the side here so then I'd go
to widgets
I then add a widget to custom HTML I
type in whatever I want to call it test
Adsense and then I paste in the code of
course nothing's going to show because
sites not approved there is one last
step actually within Google Adsense you
need to go to sites needs attention
you add the site you put in your domain
name so you know my domain name comm
grab this code into Flipboard you click
done we have to delete this now it's
gonna screw everything up but nevermind
yeah you get that code in your clipboard
you then go back to WordPress I Eve
installed a plug-in this plug-in is
because we need to basically add that
code to the header of our WordPress site
now you could paste it into your theme

plug-in is called insert headers and
footers free plug-in do a search for
that gonna store it you then go to
settings and then you've got this new
option here insert headers and footers
