own journey in today's video I will
answer to the questions of one of my
subscribers whose name is Karla Gonzalez
I hope that I pronounce the surname in

Karla is actually one of the fast
excited to finally get back to her
questions that she asked a couple of
months ago in the comments to one of my
videos and the questions are on the
following where do you share your
personal experience journey what skills
you possessed before start why I feel at
marketing how long it took for you to
learn and master how long it took to
make a profit having a mentor is
essential and I'll start with the first
one where you share your personal
experience and journey so my journey and
experience I share in a separate
playlist on this channel which called
document versus create in my journey to
success and then I upload my vlogging
videos where I document my progress of
my journey online and share some
interesting moments let's say the issues
that I'm facing the solutions that I'm
finding and and generally sharing some
day-to-day kind of like progress of what
I'm doing what I'm planning to do I
haven't actually uploaded an update to
the playlist for quite a while but I'm
planning to do that I'm planning to
upload the next video as soon as I hit
1000 subscribers right now I'm already
over 900 subscribers so soon there will
be an update to that playlist so the
next question is what skills you
possessed before start so before
starting with my online journey with
affiliate marketing I possessed pretty
much zero skills I mean not zero but
like basic skills using computer I you
can classify my skill like let's say
and the level of my skills as skills of
a gamer so I was familiar with a
computer I was able to use various
applications and all these things but I
couldn't create my own website on like
self-hosted kind of website on WordPress
so I had to learn everything from
scratch I didn't have any idea what
marketing is what email marketing is
what are the software's that I have to
use to run successful business online
and I didn't even know what affiliate
marketing is before I started I
literally started from scratch learning
every single aspect of affiliate
marketing and everything related to
online marketing and social media so
this means that pretty much anyone who
is eager to learn and succeed online
it's absolutely doable and possible to
learn from scratch the next question is
why affiliate marketing as I was telling
you in some previous videos on my
channel
I feel that marketing is probably the
easiest business model to start with to
start making money online with you don't
really need a lot of investments to
start with a fillip marketing you don't
need your own product to start making
money online and it's possible to start
generating income from pretty much day
one after you set everything up at the
same time this business model allows you
to understand the whole concept of where
money online are coming from how to make
money online how to promote products how
to you know to learn email marketing
content marketing social media marketing
to learn all the aspects of online
business for all possible projects that
you may want to dive into in future so
the next part of the question is how
long it took for you to learn and master
the thing with any online business model
is that you never stop learning never
stop mastering Internet and online
marketing is ever evolve
it's constantly changing you also
constantly have to learn new skills new
software's new applications it's pretty
much a never-ending process you know to
see to follow the trends to follow then
use what's working what doesn't work so
yes with online marketing you never
really stop learning and mastering your
skills and updating your knowledge the
next one is how long it took to make a
profit it took me a few years it took a
few years to make my first dollar online
from the very first time when I googled
how to make money online if you ask me
what stopped me to make my first dollar
online sooner than that I can say you
that the main problem was my mindset I
was really inconsistent really impatient
I would say maybe even naive I was not
really listening to the mentors to the
people who I was following online who
were teaching and I was consuming their
content
I was let's say paying attention to the
things that I wanted to hear and I was
you know let's say changing the
information like in my mind changing
their information that they were sharing
and overlooking the things that I didn't
want to take into consideration and the
second thing that was stopping me from
making decent amount of money online was
jumping from one thing to another and
for example at the beginning I was
jumping from one niche to another and
was looking for the easiest one then I
was jumping from one method to another
method instead of focusing on just one
traffic Channel and one niche one
website and build something solid and
sustainable so basically I started
seeing results only after I changed my
mindset the next question is having a
mentor is essential estimators is
obviously easier to move forward with a
mentor but you have to be careful who to
choose because there are a lot of let's
say fake mentors who pretend
kind of like experts and highly
experienced professionals but in reality
they only learned what they're trying to
teach you only like a few weeks ago and
they pretend to be masters of what
they're doing so you have to choose
mentees really carefully then of course
as soon as you find the right person
your business can skyrocket so if you
cannot find the right mentor you're
totally fine and don't let it stop you
don't think that without the mentor
you're not going to succeed you are
going to succeed just choose the right
people to follow online the right
information to consume and the right
resources to use and that's it for today
