Review: Gymbase Wordpress Theme for Sports Clubs #Best Education Page #Online Earning

hello it's alex here from WP go calm and

today i'm doing a review of the theme

Jim base which is by a theme developer

called Quantico labs and it's available

to buy on themeforest for just forty

five dollars and it's a theme that's

been designed with Jim's and sports

centers Pleasure clubs leisure centres

and all those kind of sporty type places

they have a need for the promotion of

activities and they need timetables and

maybe they've got different trainers and

it provides features you know for those

organizations I've just been working on

it for a client of mine that's in the

leisure industry they've got a number of

different leisure centres and offer a

number of different activities and

classes and I've kind of had to tie that

all together and i started with jim base

as the base of the website design i've

got to say i have customized to fame

quite a bit and i found working with it

relatively easy there's been a few

challenges on a number of things but on

the plus side the the theme the theme

support by quanta collabs has been

absolutely fantastic even to the level

of customizations and help with that a

lot of theme developers don't often help

if you've if you look into customize the

lonely help with the basic kind of as

the theme comes but these guys I've

answered I've asked lots and lots of

questions on this support forum everyone

has been answered clearly and helpfully

with a solution you know code snippets

whatever I needed to get the stuff going

so I will say that this theme has got

excellent support and that is really

what you need because if you buy a theme

and it has a problem you need to get

that help and you need it quickly and

you need it effectively so I would

recommend this theme that's for sure and

based on the support and the features

got so let's have a look at it and I'll

show you what I've done with it and kind

of how it comes out the box so here we

are um it's on themeforest and said i

will post a link to it in the

description and below this video and say

it comes with all the kind of basic

features that you need its response if

it's got the timetables as I mentioned

for your activities it's got an options

panel which is not quite as

comprehensive for some but it's got

enough to know to change the colors for

all those kind of things and it's got

number different widgets that useful

things like Twitter those kind of things

that you need all time so let's have a

look at the demo or so you can view the

demo1 themeforest and here's what it

looks like in its standard color scheme

with the greens and the blacks it comes

with a built-in slider which works

relatively well but if you've seen any

of other videos you know that i

recommend revolution slider which has

got loads of features and is very easy

to use so on the project that i've been

working on with this theme i've added

revolution slider which was relatively

easy to do if we have a cliq round you

know here's the classes you know so

you've got details of all you different

classes and it comes with this nice kind

of concertina effect and so you can have

a lot of information on one page and

kind of hide it here's the Watts next

widget which is really useful so as you

add classes they'll appear on the

relevant day so you know whatever is

coming up two days it's showing here and

you've got pricing tables for your

different memberships and all that kind

of stuff so out the box is quite a

powerful theme but as I say my project

required quite a bit of customization so

I'll show you it now if you want to take

a look at this site yourself you'll find

it at own leisure dock code at UK it's

company based it here in the UK and they

have a number of leisure centres and

sports centres and lots of lots of

activities so here's the site here as

you can see I've changed the slider over

to the revolution slider which as I said

it's far more flexible than the one that

comes with a theme and very easy to

customize the free boxes are still here

and these are just widget areas within

the theme along with these widgets down

the right-hand side all of these are

included but I've just customized them

with the rounded corners and obviously

the different color schemes and the

colors can be set in the backend ray

easily there's a box within the widget

area just to type in a color code if you

look at one of the center pages on here

now these quite detail pages and

obviously include information about the

various different legend centers that

this client runs and i've added things

like a video using JW player a ticker

using a plug-in from co canyon which

i'll do a video on soon and more

revolution slider but it

all these widgets are available it comes

with some icons but you can add some

more and again I had a question on that

you know how do I have more I contin it

was answered very clearly very coherent

Leon this on the support forums which is

always great is those containers that we

just saw the demo bit of tea with a new

color scheme ok i just want to show you

the timetable protection and so these

are generated dynamically based on

obviously the information and the

classes that you add to the back end

class is a basically a custom post type

within wordpress so you add them and

then you can add the time and other

things set a color they worked really

well and you can set where you want to

click through to and they do shrink down

nicely as you can see they've even turn

into a table for for mobiles so the take

the time tables are really really nice

feature of this theme ok so let's have a

look at the the back end quickly I'm

here the gym base theme options as I say

they're not maybe as comprehensive for

some things that you get but they do the

job so simple things like you can add

your logo or you could have a text logo

can update the footer text and you can

have a top hint which is so you can I

put a phone number and stuff i'm not

using that here's a slider which i'm not

using some using revolution slider but I

say it's quite basic compared to

revolution slider so you may want to

change it but it does a job it comes

with a contact form again I don't really

use that I you'd use would use a plug-in

like gravity forms contact details for

your contact page here's the colors and

there is many many colors that you can

change so pretty easy to customize and

fonts there too it comes with a custom

CSS file so to add extra CSS you'll need

to edit that with you know your editor

Dreamweaver or whatever you want so that

concludes my review of the gym base fee

I would definitely recommend it if

you've got a project for a gym or a

sport center as I say it's got quite a

few features but the best thing about

the theme is the support so if you do

get stuck or if you do want to make some

customizations the guys over on their

forum are very very helpful so that
