alright guys welcome back to the channel
Victor Ponta this here and on this
channel I talk about things that help
you with affiliate marketing and teach
you how to make money online today is
going to be a really special video that
I'm not going to talk about you know all
the programs that I promote I've got
some special guest with me today and
they've got a very unique and
interesting story that I wanted to share
once I got connected with these guys I
wanted to actually talk to them on
camera because of where they came from
how they connected with each other and
what they're trying to build in their
online business and with their YouTube
channel
the folks I'm talking about are Ryan and
cement the hill hello guys how you guys
doing today doing great thank you
and they have the channel called Ryan
and Sam Hill and I'm going to leave a
link down below to their channel after
this after we talk and after you get to
know these guys you're gonna want to
check out their channel you can want to
subscribe and watch the videos because
these guys know what they're doing
they're happening and they're they're
taking action on a daily basis so I want
to welcome them again and first thing I
want to do is ask you guys introduce
yourself to YouTube to the audience to
little bit about yourselves how you met
and what you know what your goals are
here with affiliate marketing okay well
like we just said my name's Sam and this
is Ryan and our channel is called Ryan
and Sam Hill and then we've got kind of
an unconventional story really because
the way we met as you can tell I'm not
American I'm English and American so we
actually met on an online game the game
was quite a hand aim of war aim yeah I
think people might recognize that nature
there's a very popular game oh yeah and
we just kind of connected on there and
you know and don't know how things
changed from me being a game and it
actually you're coming out of the game
but you know you you let you build
friendships and
chips and then you know it ended up
being telephone conversations then
anyway long story short I flew over here
to America and met him and the rest is
history got married in April 16 and then
we started the immigration program
process and we finally got over here in
2018 so wow what a great summer so you
guys met online playing a game so I have
to ask who was who was better at playing
the game who will usually won this game
together and I like it how about you
Ryan give me a little background about
yourself - yeah so uh I'm actually
full-time in law enforcement right now
I've got twenty over 20 years in law
enforcement but I've always had the
passion in network marketing and
affiliate marketing and I was actually
even in prepaid legal a long time ago
which I think it's called a Legal Shield
now they so individual memberships and
group memberships for legal plans so
it's always been a passion of mine
affiliate marketing and network
marketing and I think it goes back to
our history my family and generations
before me were actually farmers folks
posting cows and chicken houses and it
goes back to we go back and Tennessee
all the way back into the early 1800s so
I've always had the history of having
people around me that are self-employed
which I think gave me the motivation and
the passion and drive to actually try to
create something for ourselves so we
have a whole long history of wanting to
do something like this Wow that's
awesome that's awesome so interesting
way you guys met and you guys came
together okay now I know you guys have a
blended family is that correct
right how many kids do you have people
might be asking we have
between us to a piece and one together
oh my gosh okay so you guys have a very
very busy busy lifestyle Ryan you're in
law enforcement you're currently a state
trooper is that correct yes okay and
Samantha you have a full time and then
some you know job working with the kids
all day is that good okay well good I'm
going to get a lot of the other things
to kind of get to know you and where you
guys are from so gives the inspirational
part of the story that really connected
with me guys the fact that you guys not
only came from different worlds but you
guys came together very busy lifestyle
children five kids is unthinkable to me
but you know obviously you guys are
special unique people to be able to
handle that work full-time jobs and
create an online business as well that's
one of the main reasons why I really
wanted the people that understand or at
least talk to you gets better now we
talked briefly about your YouTube
channel okay
you recently decided to switch over to
affiliate marketing okay so what what
makes you decide to do that and tell me
what you were doing before the affiliate
marketing on YouTube channel okay so we
actually had affiliate marketing in the
beginning as well but we okay we had an
integrated techiniques big integrated
system of both affiliate marketing and
the stock market so we were running both
stock market videos and affiliate
marketing videos at the same time and
over the learning process on YouTube we
were shown that that wasn't the correct
way to do it because you know some
people may be interested in stock market
videos while some people may be
interested in affiliate marketing videos
and whenever they get notifications for
each one you want to niche down so we
actually recently switched a hundred
percent affiliate marketing for our
channel and you know that's that's what
we're most passionate about is
connecting with people like-minded
people who are interested in affiliate
marketing and we we chose to do that
100% of time yeah I mean it's so
powerful what affiliate marketing is
done and it's it's it's kind of a
you know the online business of the
future and the future is really now to
be honest with you that's my opinion
because I've been doing it for about a
year now and I've had some great results
and great successes and but we struggled
at first too so there were some
challenges that I faced which kind of
leads me into the next question what are
some of the biggest challenge that you
run into you know everyday you know with
your online business you give our
viewers an idea of what you guys go
through on TV basis time management you
know we've got to balance everything off
and make sure we've got the time that we
need to get out videos to research the
videos you know as well as everything
else that we do you know Ryan works
full-time and then the kids you know
they're at school and then they have
extracurricular activities as well so
there was a lot of balancing that we
have to do but it's not a case of if we
can find the time it's a case of knowing
we have to and so we just do okay so you
have a mindset okay we're gonna make
this work no matter what
okay we're going to take care of our
responsibilities or family which all
these consumptive on YouTube channel and
also to promote your affiliate products
as well mm-hmm yeah that that's you know
that's tough and you know and that's why
a lot of people jumping into this
business you know they don't make it and
it's not that they fail is that they
they quit too soon you know and you guys
are a great inspirational story that
will help some people realize that you
can find a way to do it if you really
want it you know and there's no excuses
you can find a way okay and you guys are
a perfect example of that so and thank
you for being on today okay I think I
can probably even add to that okay so I
think I think also whenever people get
into a feeling mark here network
marketing their number one driving force
is money and and that is probably the
number one reason why most people
they set up for failure because money
cannot be your passion and drive for
this business yes money comes later on
after you have a following but your
driving force has to be connecting with
people and actually you know wanting to
have people in the industry because I
think once you have the passion and you
start building and following through
that passion that people start start
subscribing to you because they are
attracted to you or after them money
comes at the end
so most people join this business
because they want money on the front end
and this not - how how law of attraction
works money comes on the back end of Law
of Attraction so I think that's the you
know the majority of the reasons why
people set themselves up for failure
from the gibbet from the beginning you
know that's a really strong and powerful
point so what you're saying it is that
you believe that the more people you can
help online that the money is going to
be just the result of that action okay
so it's gonna be there it's gonna be
there no matter what that's just going
to be what's going to happen because
you're able to help other people because
maybe you're gonna trust you they're
gonna know you're gonna like you follow
you because you've helped them in a way
that maybe nobody else has been able to
so yeah that's some truth about the law
of attraction and attraction marketing
it's very very simple and you brought
that point out that's excellent you know
being on YouTube okay and having an
affiliate marketing business okay when I
jump into this business myself and I
started creating a channel on YouTube a
lot of people didn't understand what
that is over why I was doing it because
it's the road less traveled it's not
something that most people are doing
because you know let's face it we we
were born or brought up okay nothing
against our parents okay but that's just
the mindset we have you can go to school
and then you go to college and then you
find a job and if you work for 3540
years and hopefully when you retire you
have enough money to retire right that's
kind of the mindset we're all
well affiliate marketing is a whole
different idea and a whole different
direction in the road less travel so
people don't understand that so the
question is when you're talking to
people about what you do on online
business and a YouTube channel okay how
do you explain that to them what is it
that you stay to try to make them
understand exactly what you do all right
so I would add real quickly that it's
because we're not taught in school about
affiliate marketing and being
self-employed that people in general
just don't know anything about it all
right how many people in a daily basis
goes inside Walmart to purchase milk
brand and other types of products a lot
of people because that's what people
understand that's how they get their
necessities for life but most people
don't realize you can become an
affiliate for Walmart and their products
so a lot of these products and a lot of
products that we talk about are not
products base or their their digital
type products that are not going to be
on the shelf at Walmart so that's where
you use affiliate marketing and your
athelia it's to actually get the word
out about the product so it's a very
natural process even even as far as
going inside Walmart to buy electronics
you know bread milk and other groceries
you need for the for the week so it's
just a point of you know getting getting
that information out there that it is a
natural process to have affiliate
marketers and it's just changed the
mindset of people you hired yeah well
that's what I was just going to say we
are taught by like you said it's not our
parents fault but we are taught by
generations past that that's what we're
supposed to do was supposed to go to
school supposed to get a good job was
supposed to retire and then were
supposed to live off a pension that
we've paid into while I've been working
and there's a really good book about
that and Rich Dad Poor Dad and
understanding actually being financially
literate and most people get to school
and they focus on how would great job
and that's not to say that scores not
important and grades aren't important it
is important to do well in school but
it's also important to learn the things
that school don't teach you
and they don't teach you how to be
financially literate that is something
you have to teach yourself and if you
don't ever have anybody teach that to
you is something that you're gonna have
to learn yourself you need to put in a
bit of time to educate yourself on all
of those things so for me I've been
really lucky because my mom is very
similar to me and I watched my mom
always try and strive the more than just
working for somebody else you know she's
always tried to mind her own business so
I've kind of I've kind of picked up on
that so I think there's a lot of her in
me which is really good but in answer to
your question if it's friends and family
I actually don't because when people
don't understand they just don't
understand and it doesn't matter what
you say to them they're not going to
understand the only thing that will help
people that don't understand what we're
doing because their mindset is different
its results when you when you show them
okay this is what I'm doing and this is
why I'm doing it then you know their
mind opens up a little but in the
beginning for this sort of thing because
like you said it is the road less
traveled people unless they're that kind
of mindset anyway and by the same kind
of people as ours it doesn't matter you
could talk till you're blue in the face
and they still wouldn't get it so it's
for me
I just don't talk to friends would tell
me about that anyway yeah you know
that's that's exactly that's a the
perfect answer because it's really not
the other people's responsibility to
understand to be honest with you okay
because it's a responsibility to show
the results and then they'll start
understand but that's that's perfect and
that's exactly right and Ryan to touch
on what you say as far as there's no
teaching in school about you know on my
business building marketing or have an
entrepreneur mindset it's so true - so
that's what makes us so unique and so
different because we're brought up in
that environment and still we decided to
go a different direction so thank you
for those answers that's perfect that's
exactly what
I believe in as well and you know it's
you know like my wife she doesn't
understand affiliate marketing but she
but she's very supportive of what I'm
trying to accomplish you know but I
don't expect her to understand it's not
her passion it's my passion
all she wants to see other results and
then she'll be happy fine so what I say
good I was gonna say plus she gets to
slack beyond it gets a slap on video yet
enjoys them and she keeps it on video I
know what that translated means I want
to slap you again on video okay so when
your affiliate marketing does this give
and give the viewers an idea up at
programs just a brief idea what you
actually promote and why you promote
these products or programs the programs
that we're involved with is legendary
marketer and the reason we're involved
with legendary marketer is because first
employment is a training platform it
teaches you everything that you need to
know and in order to help you get where
you're going with it it also gives you
an affiliate opportunity as well and the
training inside affiliate marketer is I
can never express how powerful it is
enough when I'm talking about it because
there's just so much information in
there and they're always doing something
new something different different boot
camps and just the first 15 day telling
that you can get it's so powerful in
itself and then you go on further into
the back office and all the things that
they've done the time but it must have
taken to put everything together inside
a legendary marketer to make it the
product product it is and to help as
many people as it's helped achieve their
goals is just absolutely outstanding to
me it's a fantastic front of that I
believe it's just one of the best out
there if not best when we also promote
build wall but we
we promote it less because not not less
because we're not promoting it what we
actually do use it as a tool that is
what we use for all our autoresponders
we use it for our funnel building we use
it for like website pages everything
that you need I think there's like 20 20
yards apps inside builder all but you
can use and it has absolutely everything
you need to get started and scale your
business and that is what we started
with so build rolls fantastic as a tool
legendaries fantastic as a training
program and coupled together that's why
they're the only two products we promote
because they're the only two products
that you need to get your foot in the
door and start running with wow you know
I can attest to everything you just said
because I'm actually involved in both of
those programs okay legendary marketer
is probably the first big-time program I
jumped in to you when I first started
out still with them and I've done many
videos claiming and staining that
leather a marketer is by far the
absolute best training platform for
anybody who wants to start a business
not necessarily an online business even
a brick-and-mortar business okay because
it's so that the training is so in the
depth that anybody can take something
from Lesnar and marketer so anyway I'm
this is not a legendary marketer video
but I wanted to let you know that

they complement each other let's let
YouTube okay you guys are a great
complement to each other you work
together to make sure that you guys are
you know doing what you both need to do
to not only grow your business let's
take care of your family so it's a great

okay so in legendary marketer
there are many modules about mindset
David Sharpe is really really big about
mindset so how would you rank mindset in
your affiliate working business how
important how important is mindset to
you and in promoting your business and
being a success with your business
online I think it's a mindset he's got
to be number one because without the
proper mindset you want to accomplish
your daily goals so I think mine said
I've been huge in the minds that I'm
talking about the last 15 years I have
watched thousands of hours of audio
tapes read dozens of books into personal
development because mindset is
everything because of the majority of
people will say I'll just do that
tomorrow and then tomorrow comes and
they'll say I'll just do that tomorrow
again well we got 365 times you can say
I'll just do that tomorrow but the
change is whenever you have the proper
mindset you accomplish daily goals every
single day and there is to it there is
no tomorrow because once you have the
proper mindset you're doing it you're
doing it and if you skip a day you're
almost sick that you skip today that's
whenever you know you have the proper
mindset Wow yeah that's very true some
lifestyle change I'm you just basically
you're all-in and you want to create
that content you want to promote that
business on a daily basis you're right
sometimes when I don't do what I wanted
to accomplish that day with my business
it's on my mind is bothers me so yeah
you're better you hit it right on the
head
Samantha do you have anything to add to
that and pretty much the same but it
really you really do have to get there
because I mean when we started our
journey with faith with Facebook with
YouTube and Ryan was completely focused
and it took me a little to find why for
me and what I found was and it's with
its so I'm sure a lot of people have
heard of this book it was thinking Grow
Rich I started reading it and there was
some points in there and it just hit me
and and I'm it really was like a brick
wall and ever since then I have just
been absolutely focused every single day
my mind has been working overtime and
like I said if we if we had a plan to do
something if we can't get it completed
or if something goes wrong it really
bothers me yeah and the just the desire
and the passion I have never be so
passionate about anything and the amount
of desire that I've got right now and
we'll have going forward to actually get
where we're going it's unbelievable do
you know what makes it better than just
getting where we're going what's that
because I'm enjoying it so much because
the desire is so strong the journey is
enjoyable I'm enjoying every second of
everything that we do I can tell by your
YouTube videos especially their latest
one yeah you're really enjoying that I
mean it was awesome I really enjoyed it
which brings me to the next question
what motivated you to create a YouTube
channel I mean what what made you decide
okay I also there's two different ways
we knew there was two different ways you
could either do it through law of
attraction and social marketing or you
have to do it through paid traffic okay
so to be honest I'm the only one who
works for money in the house she works
full time as well but she takes her air
the kids in the house so we got one
income and we're feeding seven people
young so we don't have thousands of
dollars initially to throw to throw out
at you know marketing and building an
email list we're wanting to do it the
natural way and that's through social
marketing and Law of Attraction so we
chose you two because we saw how many
people are successful on YouTube and
even with YouTube most people don't know
you even have multiple streams of income
with it as well so you make money
through content creation
you know YouTube's paying you for the
bad sense that you place on your head
you know your videos ads on any videos
alone with them
you're promoting your affiliate products
and everything else so it is a multiple
stream of income
business and you know that's the reason
why we chose that because we can get out
there more naturally using the law of
attraction and letting the people who
are attracted to us come to us and then
at the same time we are allowed to you
know help this broad audience that we
have even though it's more yeah and also
me being a youtuber as well the
connection that you can make with video
is so much more powerful than just an
email now because and that's so true and
let me tell Vinny Oh sales marketing and
just just videos in general I mean when
you're watching somebody on YouTube
you're going to have an immediate
connection or you're not and that's okay
but that's how you get that warm
audience to subscribe to your channel to
launch a content to basically consume
all the valuable content that you're
offering to your audience
and then eventually those are the same
people that opt-in to your programs
because you've made that connection
because you know there's all kinds of
techniques on how to close people how to
sell but you know what people buy from
people that they like okay that's really
the bottom line and then they trust you
know and you building that trust on that
video is so impactful something that you
can't do in any other way in my opinion
so congratulations for your channel
that's awesome you know it's not easy to
do okay being in front of that camera
that very verse first time was pretty
awkward I'm sure it was for me okay it's
not a natural thing to talk to a camera
links okay that's not everybody has that
right but you guys found a way to do it
and now and your videos are getting so
much better you know Samantha that video
you did yesterday that was cracking up
at the very beginning because you're
having this this conversation with your
so you guys need to watch this video
trust me you can enjoy it but the
content was actually valuable as well
okay so great job we make we touched on
this a little bit earlier but how do you
balance your everyday life the children
the full-time job and your online
business because you guys have your
hands full just with your family life
aside
from any other thing any other business
or work outside the home how do you guys
balance that on a daily basis well it's
not easy having a plan that helps but
you can't always plan for everything and
the I think the best way for me to
explain how I do it is to just know it
needs to be done and if you know you
need to do something every day then just
get in a small amount of work done is
progression in in in the grand scheme of
things but I think honestly I don't know
we just get it done because it's there
is a lot to balance there's a lot to do
and the amount of time we have where
we're free like now is is very limited
Jacob takes two naps a day and he
probably not it varies but it can be
from half an hour up to two hours if I'm
looking for two hours you know I can get
something done but otherwise you know
unbalancing that around an 18-month old
and then everything else when Ryan's
home you know Ryan or help but it's it
is just a case of knowing you need to do
it and getting it done and it's I'm
really terrible your last vinyl tell me
here in a minute
I am so bad at timekeeping I am the
slowest person unless I invite Mimi but
she's you know she's not a kid she's not
kidding if we got to eat somewhere at 11
o'clock bird it's 1:30 before we're
getting there
it may be not that late that might be it
we're 30 minutes late at least my wife
in the same way yeah we don't have these
kids to take care of even it frustrates
him at times I know it does but I just I
don't know I just know if I've got to
get something on I get it done regard
last night you know it was a late night
for me because I needed to get things
done and so you know I stayed up till I
did it but these are the things that I'm
prepared to do because I know where I'm
going you know I'm going to do what it
takes now so that I can have what other
people won't have in the future because
not everybody is prepared to make the
sacrifice in the beginning and it's so
I'm sure every entrepreneur has heard
this or set this at least once in their
journey that when you start off the
difference between the job and being an
entrepreneur is an entrepreneurial work
for free that's what we're doing you
know we're putting in the hours needed
now so that we can reap the rewards you
know the minute I think I think you said
it all right there I'm going to leave it
at that because that was that was
exactly what the audience and a lot of
people who are thinking about creating
an online business for busy lifestyles
and you know work outside the home and
have children and things like that if
there's thinking on you know jumping in
it is that's exactly because I went
through that myself
I mean full-time job come home two in
the morning I'm creating content because
my mind just like you guys was like it
doesn't matter what it takes I'm gonna
make this work
and I believe that once you truly
believe that in your mind okay let's you
embrace that you know all of the things
that were your obstacles will also and
start getting out of your way slowly you
know because you really truly believe
that you know I mean so it's very
powerful Lachesis I appreciate that
exactly exactly what people needed to
hear so doesn't matter what's going on
you're gonna make it happen you're gonna
make it everything
so in closing and I want to thank you
guys again for being on my channel today
i know you guys are super busy but i
want to ask you one last question then
you can just throw in any other thoughts
that you have so if people that are
watching right now we kind of touched on
it if they were thinking about jumping
online and started creating an online
business or even a youtube channel or
both like you guys have done as busy as
you are you're still
making it work what is some of the
advice you would give to some of the
viewers out there that are thinking
about doing that right now well I think
you gotta have skin in the game first
off because if you don't have skin in
the game if you haven't peaked you got
to get something that you're passionate
about so you have to like pick a product
that you're passionate about it then you
know just jump into it okay because if
you don't have skin in the game if you
don't have money in the game
then you're not going to put in the work
that it takes to be successful so you're
gonna need personal development and
you're gonna need a product but other
than that there is no tomorrow if you're
passionate about it get started today
and then work your butt off and then you
know to success yes don't one of the
things that as I thought about before so
I'm sure a lot of other people think
about when they're trying to start
something like this is what other people
may think of them don't worry about that
just forget it get on with what you want
to do because what other people think
has got no bearing on where you're going
in your life as long as you know what
you want and you've got the passion and
desire and it really is all about that
mindset and knowing what you want you
just go and get it because it's got it
does not matter what other people think
of you when you get there then they'll
understand just you do what you've got
to do for you and just get started and
I'm gonna add to that real quick linger
I am the biggest winner Sam ot I do not
care what anybody else thinks I do not
care okay it's not that I don't care
about their opinion I just don't R so
take this for instance in 100 years
nobody us included nobody watching this
video more than likely will be around
okay so a thousand years nobody's gonna
even care about this video or even us so
you have to think about your own
