news let's say the first is I've had to
suspend my content service which is a
bit of a pain well but it was sad thing
I know what it is but so you know that I
launched the content service a few
months ago and we started off quite well
but I've basically had a bit of a
nightmare with
and my writing team and project
management people who were helping me
deliver it to have let me down in quite
a big way so I know there is a few of
you out there that are waiting for
articles that you will get those
articles if you don't get them articles
within a reasonable time frame then I
will of course refund your money but
yeah it's been a bit of an issue and
it's kind of made me refocus myself
again and I guess this is something that
maybe we can all think about is you got
to focus on what you enjoy what's
profitable and and all that kind of
stuff because you only got so much time
haven't you in in the world you don't
know how long you've got even though you
use that time wisely so it made me think
that you know I was put getting a lot of
stress I was letting people down
especially some of you guys were my
friends and regulars on the channel
letting you down you put your trust in
me and I wasn't able to live and it was
kind of beyond my control so that was
very frustrating and you know the money
and it wasn't actually that great either
so I've pulled the plug on it I'm not
saying it won't ever come back but it it
probably won't and I'm just gonna focus
more on videos and on content and I'm
helping you guys and doing you know what
I usually do through the YouTube channel
through my website that kind of thing
I'm still offering the hosting service
with Phil I think Phil's on tonight but
he normally is so more than happy to
help with that in terms of content I
still want to help you guys with your
content so I am currently talking to a
couple of different content companies
different ones to the ones that I've
reviewed before it's not I write or any
of those guises completely different I'm
buying
content off them I'm trying to secure
some good prices for us and I'm gonna do
it that way so kind of basically being
affiliate for some decent content
companies that I've used and I trust and
I know are excellent so I will be
updating you guys on that soon obviously
for a video but yeah for now

about key words everywhere so he was
everywhere as a tool that I know that
all of us have got installed into Chrome
browser or maybe our Firefox browser and
then the other week maybe it was a
couple weeks ago they here I'm looking
at NIV as Nivea's is comment there stay
doing what you love Alex and don't stop
thinking of new ideas that's what we do
yeah that is what we do I'm always
thinking new ideas but sometimes you
just have to stop with the ideas and
focus on what you started gather week
and not keep looking for the new thing
so entrepreneur floor definitely always
looking for new stuff and never
finishing the old stuff I know a focus
on the other stuff yeah but anyway I
digress
I digress anyway so keywords everywhere
yeah the other week they announced
they're going as a paid service and paid
what we gonna do well I say I'm gonna
have a video on this really soon in
terms of alternatives to keywords
everywhere um but if we're honest you
never unique you is everywhere really
you don't need it because you get pretty
much everything you need out of Google
and out of some of the other free tools
available like keyword tool dot IO is
quite a good one I'm basically giving
away everything I'm gonna say on my
video coming up but your keyword tool
dot IO check that one out keyword schita
is used to be called something else
that's another one to get out of
keywords of course answer the public and
uber suggester also other good free
tools they're not Chrome browser
extensions but they're still useful and
I said anything we were needed keywords
everywhere
anyway keywords anywhere everywhere
anywhere was it even cooler I forgotten
now we didn't need it because you know
you don't really need those volume
numbers unless you're doing a keyword
golden ratio in which case I think a lot
of us have kind of moved on from that
and are now just creating content around
what we see on Google so we don't really
need those volume numbers yeah it was
kind of useful that you could click
little stars and make you a list that
was kind of cool but I think you know we
can all do a little copy and pasting off
Google so I think it's any great loss
but I think the other crops too it is is
that you can carry on using keywords
everywhere you just got to pay and if
you look at the prices it's not
expensive it's like dirt cheap they do a
pay-as-you-go system so you don't have
to pay a subscription you kind of pay
for credits that you can use for keyword
information so it's ten dollars this is
the bomb package $10 for a hundred
thousand credits that's a hundred
thousand keyword lookups now of course
if you keep keywords everywhere on
keywords anywhere even called keywords
everyone having a mental block here I've
already removed it from my browser
keywords everywhere not anywhere he was
everywhere for God's sake man yeah as
long as you only turn it on when you're
doing your keyword research you'll be
fine you won't use up a hundred thousand
credits cuz you're not gonna have a
hundred thousand keywords for your niche
website it's highly unlikely so you know
if you still want to use it then just
pay for it and just make sure that you
turn it off because every city every
time you do a Google search it's gonna
use on those credits and bring up the
keyword information that monster anyway
that's my second point I want to talk
about keywords are where don't panic

to say is I've loaded a video today just
a little video that she took longer than
I thought was knowing we want to get it
out earlier but those Google Adsense ads
took ages to appear on the site but yeah
did you see it was just kind of using
the automatic ads from Google Adsense I
know a lot of you use azoic and these
other platforms but for those of us that
are still on Adsense it might be useful
go and take a look and yeah I'm working
on a really big video around creating
content because a lot of you guys ask me
how I come up with ideas for content how
I put content together how I publish it
on the site where I get images from do
the tables and we're trying to a
complete video on all of that stuff from
that basically how I've been adding
content to best roof box com
speed the best reports.com I have done
an update video on that it will be up
tomorrow or being well not much to
report still ticking wrong as it was but
I have looked into Google Trends and I
have discovered that October is for the
worst months talking to Mike pretty the

bit of a case study right now on an aged
site that he's bought so check that out

sell ready-made size but again I'm
lacking focus and yeah I've already said
that what I'm gonna say on that one

answer to that personally I found it
easier when I'm targeting markets in the

not as simple as that though is it
because there's so many different niches
so it's got more competition so many
keywords and there is no black and white
rule in terms of how you rank a site
number one there's obviously best
practices and things you can follow and
hope that it works out but there is no
one that knows that you know you just do
this one action and it's gonna ring it's
like cuz it's made up and lots and lots
of different actions and elements also
the math says if I want to pick a niche
about dogs should I specialize in the
type of dogs yes probably
that's definitely would be a good one

of ten sites that I come across are in
the dog niche including one of my own so
it's probably a little bit saturated
that'd be my thoughts on that anyway

video game merch niche which know if
that's an unfortunate thing but it's
gonna be competitive isn't it a very
product focused obviously yeah and say I
do whole time I went it's a bad thing I
always pick a product focused niche so
anyway she's written about 70 articles
some of them are now back and drastic
was I have to rewrite to him traffic is
Bob DeLong 2006 2018 about 250 page
views a month with the occasional spike
in January 2019 I started looking into
Pinterest then found Doug and then me
and then income school in that order and
yeah since then the traffic went up
exponentially that's probably cuz you
watched income school and Doug and now
she's up to 2,000 page reads month she
added Adsense few months ago not
expecting much revenue from that though
so 2019 so far 38 bucks when I was an 18
dollars from share so one dollar from
Adsense struggling with article ideas
frankly I chose my domain name pretty
broad and I thought about niching down
but every time I come up with a super
can come up with everything I come up
with a super competitive both products
and informational content building a
second site and a better nation a few
months than she's seriously complaining
whether just to let this one sit and
fester and so she can focus on a second
site more
so what do you guys think I mean there's
a couple of comments in the chat already
that it's a wide-open niche which it is
like the topic but if it's game of
gaming related then you should make it a
little bit more playful and colorful
maybe maybe I can't actually see what
theme you're using put it in mind
good to have your rural biz media so I
see I don't add anything since July 18
terms of look and feel it's like I think
it's fine as a book site I mean maybe
game it up a little more with some
colors picture of Mario Sonic I don't
know whatever now now if you're into
gaming which I'm guessing you are
I wish your why you've gone for this
niche then and I mean you haven't
mentioned what you're in other site is
about then it shouldn't be too hard to
come up with ideas for games I mean what
you're playing what now will you into a
lot of these articles I can see that
they're not very searched based you know
people probably are not gonna research
it for what would the world be like if
video games didn't exist probably just
my thought so I mean let's let's just go
over to Google and just do some searches
really just Google Google I guess you
you you case based but I'm this is gonna
be us in fact I'm just gonna do a new
incognito because it will bring up
better results probably so my one
thought is is that you just need to get
really specific on different gaming and
different gaming products so there was
one I looked at earlier so like this one
it is product featured faith faith feat
with other product focused but I think
that's fine because quite specific I'm
just going to click search for that
legend or Zelda
what we call them collectibles
again that's a big site gage radar but I
think this kind of article is good I
mean maybe not Zelda I mean that's quite
competitive but you know my favorite
game at the moment is a game called apex
Legends and then maybe you might want to
add something I mean what's coming up
down here we've got any where's my in
Kinnear that'd be better then you coded
that theme from scratch while we why
she's getting any suggested search has
come out which is interested and
interesting look at that that's cool I
thinking yeah you need to get like
really specific in certain games and
focus around the merchandise the
collectibles that kind of stuff because
I think people could definitely you know
when the input game they want to get the
merch and then the way I promote it is I
would start getting into some Facebook
groups around these games so I know
example with APEC sessions there is big
groups around the game people chatting
sharing screenshots and videos and that
kind of stuff and if you were to
occasionally just pop up obviously not
saying hey come check my site but saying
wow look at this cool bit of merch that
I found or you know this cool bloodhound
figurine or this cool link keyring and
just keep it subtle I think you may be
okay I'm not sure
if he's but then you know if you think
that your new site is gonna be better
then maybe you should just Park this for
a bit and focus on it

revenue is going to be great and you
don't have to do much once the site's
built whether you're gonna be out of
rank anywhere near this there's another
one there like coin flip this is the
official coin for the internet and you
know self-proclaimed official or look at
that freedy effect I'm liking that
there's another one there I don't know
there seems to be quite a lot of
competition it's a great little idea and
well done I'm making a site because your
site probably looks the best out of all
of them and has got these features which
a lot of the others don't have so I
don't know you might be able to start
ranking for those you know best of ten
coin flips or best of nine flips why is
it no ten why they all nod of course
they're odd otherwise we're gonna get a

so that might be your kind of unique
selling point into coin a horrible
